Listen and listen carefully The current hottest places in Anambra as I type now are: Awka(state capital)~cultist disturbances Okpuno axis of Awka~cultist disturbances Amikwor (Awka)~cultist disturbances Ifiite Awka~cultist disturbances Border towns of Anambra~Ipob and Nigeria security forces Onitsha ain’t even as hot as the state capital...Onitsha is cool. Cult killings here and there in d state capital...gangs moving up and down. The situation in Anambra currently seems like some touts, cultists from other states were imported down to Anambra. Anambra State never had these cult disturbances in previous govt...this govt just licensed thuggery and cultism and now pple can’t sleep in peace in a whole state capital. Towns like Amawbia, nawfia, nise,Nibo,Abagana,EnuguUkwu, nimo etc in Anambra are more serene and safest than than even d state capital. Movt around the state capital is a bit restricted. The only major road which houses prison, immigration,SCID is blocked because of security. And coupled with no good motorable roads in d state capital pple are made to pay through their nose for a journey which usually takes a short period of time. Awka to Nibo is 200 before 100 Awka to Agulu is 300 before 150 Awka to Amawbia is 150 before 50 Awka to Enugukwu 150 before 100 Awka to Abagana 200 before 100 Awka to nkpor 300 Awka to Onitsha 400 Poor Masses especially in d state capital are suffering and still smiling. December looks gloomy already for them.Life is currently hard for the pple dwelling in d so called state capital because everything has trippled. Food prices, rents soaring higher. It’s best to say that the emergence of unknown gunmen,Ipob, security forces, rising case of cultism has made life more difficult for the poor masses who just want to live,do business and relax. Note: This is a people’s view on the current happenings in Anambra |
As the fourth quarter of 2021 gradually winds up. Traders in the highly enterprising region of Nigeria groan seriously over low business patronage and poor sales. This comes as the region continues to battle it’s internal crises which has escalated with widespread violence, unknown gunmen, frequent sit at homes in protest for the imprisoned IPOB activist,Nnamdi Kanu. Speaking to our correspondent, Samuel, a business man in Onitsha main market laments on low patronage and incessant sit at homes ordered by the IPOB leaders. He stated that if things continues like this most families in the East won’t be able to feed themselves. He urged the govt to look into pending matters and quell amicably current crises bedevilling the region. Amarachi, a boutique owner in Awka also lamented about the poor state of business, low patronage and laments on how things have been difficult due to the crises that has plunged the region to its present status. She stated, “schools have resumed and I am yet to pay up my three children’s school fees unlike before. I have never been in this situation”. Residents and indigenous pple of the Niger hope things returns back to normal so that they can meet up with life’s issues.

As the Anambra election draws near. The YPP candidate for the Anambra election took his campaign to the streets of Awka in a dramatic way. The YPP candidate was seen waving and throwing down what seems to footballs and polo tops to the cheering crowd who scrambled for the items. Ifeanyi was seen sitting so high on the moving trucks of his campaign team. The campaign battles for the number one seat at Agu Awka. Will he clinch the seat or not? We watch! Lalasticlala

Some of you may quite disagree on the level of chaos and violence that has bedeviled the SouthEast region. For a region that was once peaceful amidst decayed infrastructure has currently turned to a jungle still without so much progress in development. The escalating violence in the East has gotten so many businesses in serious quagmire. Most traders are silently moving to neighboring states like Delta,PH etc to establish their businesses. And I can tell u this for sure...since the unfavorable policies by the IPOB, most Onitsha international businesses have continued to suffer and are now finding solace in neighboring Delta State. This means that in some few years to come Onitsha markets may no longer have large economy prospects. Now to the leaders of South East, these leaders seem not to care if the region is thrown into another like Somalia-Dafur crises or the Afghanistan Taliban crises. Most south East leaders seem not to care. I see no reason they’ve not been able to nip the Ipob issues in d bud during it’s early agitation. They were so calm and nonchalant...now the region is gradually enveloped in so much violence. In addition, the igbos in the diaspora have been accused by some igbos and Nigerians on fueling crises in the region. These diasporans are so detached from d reality on ground and the reality of poor Igbo masses living in the south East. These guys keep fanning the embers of violence through financial donations and what have you. Though some igbos see the roles they play as being helpful. South East needs to return to its peaceful nature we have always known it to be. Violence and blood shed will take the region no where. |
Useless pple Ipob your disastrous end is near. Will stoping election in Anambra cause Buhari to release Kanu? Your counterparts called Oduduwa are at the UN HQ raising concerns abt their land and channeling their grievances through d appropriate channels. But the useless and illiterate members of Ipob are causing violence, poverty, hunger, unrest in the South East. Thunder fire you pple |
