There was a serious robbery this evening at Nkwo Enugukwu same area Senator Ifeanyi Ubah was attacked last month. Gunmen robbed traders around the market area and carted away so many bikes. Curently security forces have been mounted at strategic areas around Enugukwu.

Since the emergence of Ipob activities the life in the southeast has never remained the same for the once peaceful region. Masked Gunmen now parade some local Govts and snatching cars,bikes and personal belongings of harmless individuals.

There’s currently killings and kidnappings and robberies at gunpoints by masked men who are believed to be supporters of the outlawed group.

This is the face of those kidnapping and terrorising umunneochi area and Enugu Port harcourtExpress road, around Enugu - Okigwe axis.They were cought by the vigilante group in Umuaku in collaboration with the youths of the community, all in Abia state.

The two kidnappers were within the boundary between Umuhu and Mbezi Mbala Isuochi.

One of the suspects hailed from Abakaliki and has confessed to the crime.He said they were led by another suspect who is an indigene of Umuaku community in Umunneochi.

“ME: Honestly Our People are deeply into this kidnapping rampaging the south east..Let's stop profiling the Fulanis alone...Report any suspicious movement to the nearest police station or any security outfit nearest to you..Security is everybody's buisness.”

It’s always a colourful and intriguing annual event in this this historical town called Abagana in Njikoka LGA.
The new yam festival also known as ‘iwaa ji ofuu’ is that time of the year when locals after having a bountiful yam harvest celebrate and thank the gods of the harvest. This year’s festival was also marked with a fitness walk from the LGA secretariat.
I visited my maternal home to see what’s cooking for me. Here are pics of delicacy.
