The choice of Jonathan Goodluck as Yar' adua's running mate is at best a very bad joke! If the choise was made to appease the South South, then Odili or Duke would have been a much better choice dont you think. I have never reckon with PDP as a good party, and i still dont!!

@ Jalal - You seem to know much about the guy, why dont you tell us some of his achievement/Credentials
Apart from the fact that his brother MUSA YAR'ADUA was second in command to Obasanjo then, i dont know
anything about him, who knows? he could turn out to be a good president at the end of the day, but if we are
to use his party to judge him, we shouldnt expect much then

If Yar'Adua is elected during the PDP primaries, then i am afraid that he will be the next president of Nigeria, such is the power of PDP, we just do not have any opposition party that is good enough to stop them. The question of whether he is god enough is another matter entirely but he is almost sure of being our next president!

It is a well documented fact that Serie A players normally struggle when they come to the premiership, to mention a few, we have Crespo, Veron,Edgar Davids, Shevchenko, so it shouldn't come as a suprise that Crespo is now doing well. The revival of drogba has more to do with him improving as a player than the arrival of shevchenko, otherwise how would you explain the fact he has a good goal record in europe (Fairly better than that of even Henry!!!) since he started plying in europe!!There was no shenchenko in those matches you know!!!
The guy should not be quoted out of context, he said he is better than 'Igwe' THIS SEASON and so far it has not been a lie!!!

@Pucho, That our Pappilo has achieved a lot in football is actually a fact that nobody can dispute but to say that he is the most acomplished player in the premiership is a little bit ambiguous. it depend on what you attach importance to, if it is club acievements there are many players who have won more trophies with different club than him (e.g Edgar Davids) and if it is national team Achievement there are still players who have ahieved more with their natinal teams than him (e.g thierry Henry). Please i am not trying to put the guy down i am merely stating the fact.

@ Pucho: On what consideration are you saying that Kanu is the most accomplished player in the premiership??

The drama just never ends with PDP!,even though it is a succesful political party going by election results, i think it is the worst party in the history of Nigeria!!!If they are presenting Hilda williams as their candidate for Lagos state, i dont wish them any success then.
