RUPTION which was the leading theme
in Nigeria as a whole was evident in the
DEAN OF STUDENT
AFFAIRS OF OGUN STATE COLLEGE OF HEALTH....How much longer do we have
to live like this?? As i write now 9
students of OGUN STATE COLLEGE OF
HEALTH ILESE IJEBU are currently in
the hospital and then in tears and trauma
i ask this question....WHERE IS NIGERIA GOING??WHY CANT STUDENTS HAVE
A SAY??MUST CORRUPTION ALWAYS
SPEAK ??...........Talking about the
NIGERIAN SOLDIERS whose primary
objective is to ''protect the citizens'' left
their duty post after being lured and bribed by the NIGERIAN
CONSOLIDATED BREWERIES
OFFICIALS to beat unarmed innocent
students...95% of the students of OGUN
STATE COLLEGE OF HEALTH
TECHNOLOGY who are girls were serious dealt with and striped
naked... |
Its tragic how one loses an important
person, still going through pains of the
lost soul the worst happens........Today
being the 6th of December 2016 a final year student of OGUN STATE COLLEGE
OF HEALTH TECHNOLOGY IN THE
DEPARTMENT OF DENTAL THERAPY
was on her way back from the bank to
withdraw her project money and the little
feeding allowance attached to it, got crushed by the NIGERIAN
CONSOLIDATED BREWERIES TRUCK
loaded with lots of alcoholic drinks i.e
33,Goldberg...... Funny enough before the
arrival of the students down to the
accident scene, the Nigerian Consolidated Breweries officials had
called the attention of soldiers of ILESE
Barracks who shot speedily at
students,as a matter of fact students got
injured especially females students,as if
that wasn't enough the soldiers of ilese barracks invaded the school premises
and still shot at the students..

in the north east. “People were trusted and the most
recent one which we haven’t
recovered from is the $2.1billion
dollars which was given by the
government then, to the military to
buy hardware to fight the insurgency which had taken over
part of the country and they just
sat just the way you are sitting
now and shared the money into
their own account. They didn’t
even bother. So we are still trying to get the cooperation of the
international community and so on
and we have to do it with a lot of
respect to the judiciary.” |
President Muhammadu Buhari has said that he pitied the Minister of Information, Mr. Lai Mohammed who took pains in explaining the actions and inactions of government to the people. “For you to talk to whoever came to visit us throughout that year, I wonder how each of your diaries would be, because people were expecting this change mantra in their own way. “How do you define change? Luckily our party identified three major items, security, economy and corruption. One of the men I pitied is Lai Mohammed. Everyday, he is on TV explaining our performance or lack of it,” he said. Buhari, made the comment while hosting State House Correspondents to a luncheon at the new banquet hall of the Presidential Villa yesterday, was offering retrospective highlights of his early days in office after his inauguration. One shocking discovery of the government, according to the president, was the “sharing” of the $2.1 billion meant for the purchase of arms for the military to fight insurgency |
and I felt I could do much more good by sharing these items with the world, as well as helping my causes that are important to me," he said. Julien's Auctions's Dan Nelles said some of the proceeds would benefit the Pequeno Principe paediatric hospital in Brazil. "He had a lot of the property in storage, and it wasn't seeing the light of day, which this auction now allows," Nelles told the BBC. "Also, he wasn't sure what of it his family wanted to keep, and he didn't want it [the collection] to fall by the wayside." Among the 1,500 lots up for sale are the ball with which he scored his 1,000th goal, game- worn shirts, his NASL championship ring, and a pair of boots worn in the film "Escape to Victory." |
Pele will sell his three World Cup winner's medals as part of a large auction of his memorabilia from his storied life in June. The Brazil legend will auction off items ranging from football awards to personal passports to gifts from dignitaries. The item expected to fetch the highest price is a replica of the Jules Rimet trophy that was made for him after Brazil won the 1970 World Cup. How much would you pay for Pele's passport? https:///iHQYjVagv6 pic.twitter.com/ xta3AY8O2A - BBC Business (@BBCBusiness) May 31, 2016 Julien's Auctions, which is handling the event in London, expects the trophy to go for between £281,000 and £420,000 ($408,000- $610,000), while his medals could fetch £141,000 ($205,000) each. The 75-year-old Pele, who has had surgery on his back, hip and prostate within the past year, told the BBC the time had come to let others maintain his collection. "It was a difficult decision to make but it takes a lot to properly care for these artefacts, |

Atletico Madrid defender Juanfran has penned an emotional letter to fans in the wake of his missed penalty in Saturday's Champions League final. The letter, which was published on Atletico's official website, describes the 31-year-old's "tremendous sadness" and gratitude to fans for forgiving him the miss that allowed arch- rivals Real Madrid to seal victory in a penalty shootout. He said: "I will never forget your displays of affection when I came to ask for forgiveness. "Seeing my tears reflected in the faces of the thousands of Atleticos that packed that end of the stadium helped me cope with the tremendous sadness." In the end it was Cristiano Ronaldo's penalty that saw Los Blancos lift the trophy for the 11th time, with Atletico leaving a Champions League final runners-up for a third time. Referring to his club's 4-1 defeat by Real two years ago, he said:"Two years ago,I told you that we would return to a final, now I tell you that Gabi, our captain, will lift the Champions League soon. |

The woodwork denied Arsenal the title! The Gunners would have won the Premier
League this season if shots against the post or
bar had gone in. Arsene Wenger's side finished the season on
a high with a 4-0 win over Aston Villa, which,
coupled with Tottenham's defeat at Newcastle,
ensured they finished above their north
London rivals in second. However, Arsenal once again missed out on
the Premier League crown, this time to
surprise winners Leicester. During the course of the campaign, Arsenal hit
the woodwork more than any other Premier
League team. Hit woodwork - Premier League Team
Hit woodwork Arsenal
21 West Ham
19 Tottenham
19 Everton
18 Liverpool
16 Man City
15 Swansea
14 Southampton
13 Crystal Palace
12 Norwich
11 Leicester
11 Sunderland
10 West Brom
10 Watford
9 Man Utd
8 Bournemouth
8 Aston Villa
7 Newcastle
6 Stoke
5 Chelsea
4 Had every team's shots against the woodwork
counted as goals, Arsenal would have actually
finished top of the table. |
