Channels TV reports that 900 of the total 2,400 members of the National Youth Service Corps in the Batch A posted to Kano State for the 2012/2013 service year, have been redeployed to other states due to the current security challenge in the commercial city.

Kano State NYSC Coordinator, Salisu Yakasai, made this known during the closing ceremony of the Batch A orientation exercise in Kano on Tuesday.The corps members were redeployed because of the recent bomb attacks in the state with the latest being the attack at a motor park in the city.

Its with utmost disappointment as i draft this quick note. As more subscribers complain of poor network quality, MTN Nigeria has yet come out to explain the situation to millions of its customers. MTN Nigeria has recorded further degeneration in its services which has made it difficult for the network’s subscribers to make calls. Even when some calls go through after several unsuccessful attempts, the caller often fails to hear the recipient.

This is further complicated by the network’s continuous charging of callers for the unsuccessful calls. Problems have also extended to recharging MTN vouchers/recharge card, Blackberry internet services (BIS) and general network’s data services as Nigerians using MTN internet modems now find it difficult connecting to the internet.
The most unbelievable part of the whole MTN menace is the fact that I (Ayex Money) personally called MTN customer Care Centre on the 27th of March, 2013 at around 8:00AM and I was humbly asking and demanding an explanation as well as pouring out my heart about the on going situation as a valued customer that I think I am but to my greatest shock, the MTN customer care attendant hung up the phone on me.
Honestly speaking, I have never been humiliated like this in my entire life. Maybe MTN forgot the fact that without us their will be no MTN as one of the biggest telecom companies in the continent.

Actually that’s by the way, the bothering questions I have for NCC are-
1. Will Nigerian Communications Commission (NCC) continue to look and do nothing as MTN spit on us?
2. Is their ever going to be a lasting solution to this MTN menace?.
3. Are our leaders not experiencing the same problems we are experiencing?
4. Are our leaders even using our local telecom service providers? if yes, are some people VIP subscribers while others are mere Regular Please share this, let the word SPREAD till it gets to MTN & NCC. Thanks Regards,

“If everything goes according to plan, Wizkid will soon be returning to his former music label, EME Music Group, this is according to a reliable industry source. The source revealed to me exclusively that Wizkid and EME bosseshave been going back and forth for the last couple of weeks through their lawyers trying to agree on new terms of them working together again.

“Wizkid leaving EME was just his way of pushing the bosses at the label to take him seriously and increase his earning percentage. When he joined EME he wasn’t a star but then he became a mega star and was making a lot of money for the label and they still didn’t increase his earning percentage so he took a walk. Now they are working on a new contract that will favour Wizkid.” The source said I hear in the new contract being drafted, EME will not take a dime from Wizkid’s international deals. When they start working together again, remember you read it here first!”

Prosecution counsel, Gbolahan K. Latona asked the court for a trial date and to remand the suspect in prison custody. However, defense counsel, Olusegun Jaiyeola, prayed the court to grant his client bail, stressing that his offences are bailable. Justice Yusuf however remanded the accused person in prison and adjourned the matter till March 20, 2013 for hearing of bail applications.

Bauchi The agreement was made in 2008, “A monthly disbursement of N10million, provision of training grounds on the many mountains scattered in Bauchi State. There was also promise of security against arrests by the Federal Government. Bauchi governor stopped the monthly fund in mid 2011, Boko Haram source claimed that “they were not happy but remained loyal to the agreement because of the unfettered access to the mountains of Bauchi as training camps”.

The Terrorist group claimed that the northern governors are overwhelmed about the strength of group. “They are aware of capabilities of the Boko Haram operatives in their respective states”. Some of the State government officials visit their training camps to watch the training exercises. “We train harder than the Nigerian military and they see it”.
