Why did Onneghen refuse to allow the NJC to meet? Why did he announce that NJC Meetings are put on hold indefinitely? Why did he say that he has forgotten that he has $3m balance in a bank account? Even, Dangote will never forget such an amount? Look, those Dangotes, Otedolas, Adenugas etc they hardly sleep. They are always thinking about their money especially they are always afraid that someone will defraud them.
Ok, let us put it differently, you as an average person, can you forget your account with a balance of N3m not to talk of $3m?
Finally, where did he get the latest amount discovered, from? It was whistle blown. In that latest Account, reading the Bank Statements one will be put on enquiry seeing numerous $10,000 deposits. Yet Atiku said there is nothing wrong with that. PDP LOOTERS said there is nothing wrong with that.
Note that Onneghen was only suspended but not removed.
The trial at the CCT must start even if heavens will fall. The master plan is not to allow the trial at all just like Saraki succeeded in doing. Enough is enough. Hope we remember Dr Saraki removed Justice Raliat Elelu Habeeb as CJ of Kwara State as the state Governor without even any corruption charge .
Let's be guided by history please.
Not minding the propriety of Onoghen suspension (not removal ) yet, could it be justified that a CJN who 'forgot ' to declare domiciliary accounts running into billions is fit for our democracy?
In saner climes, he would have remorsefully resigned since and surrender to justice.
