I don't think so because I have not come across it in Bible. But what I would rather suggest is that it was a creation of man to help identify the married ones in the society. Because if you see a beautiful lady that you are interested, first you look at her fingers, if she has a ring (identity) then no deal. That's what I think.

What about the age difference does it really matter. I love her no doubt but hasn't considered marryng her. Could it be that we were meant to be together without us knowing.

It's a pity mrcrackles doesn't know about landmarks and its importance. Have you heard of statue of liberty in the US, christ the redeemer in brazil, eiffel tower in paris etc. Go check them out!

Akwa Ibomites, our Governor has destroyed the Itam Peace Column which is a major landmark at Uyo and the beginning of the State to make way for the dualisaton and flyover project. Former Governor Attah spent 1bn on Itam peace column and Itam plaza beautification.
