Oga buy a commercial bus and put on the road. Then come back in a year and tell us your experience. There is a reason commercial vehicle drivers are scared of enforcement officers, LASTMA, VIO more than police. You will find out yourself. chidifrank: |
What has me driving on Lagos road got to do with the topic under discussion? The topic is on speed limit reduction. You then made a claim that government dont care about road users, just money. I replied that you have not put up any fact to back up your claim or if a regulation on limiting speed on the road is not about government showing concern for road users, then what else does showing concern for road users mean. Then you brought up a totally unrealated topic. What you dont realise is that regulations is a whole complex stuff and there is definitely going to be regulations on those areas you mentioned in the nearest future. Problem is that when regulations come up on those areas you mentioned too, its people like you that will still come out and attack the government for coming up with such regulations. For people like you, its just about government bashing else you wont choose a post on speed limit regulations to talk about government not showing care for road users. Sheuns: |
What you put up there, how is it related to the topic of speed limit violations and payment of fines by offenders. You see this is just about government bashing and nothing more. Sheuns: |
You need to think deeply and widely about this. Dont forget the president is from Lagos. There is a possibility that there could be networking between Lagos and other states on this and for crimes you commit here in Lagos, you could be apprehended for it even in other states and regardless of the state vehicle plate numbers you are using. To think one of the roads you have the camera is on 3rd mainland bridge which is suppose to be a federal road. Thats to tell you enforcement of violations might not be limited by which states numbersl plate you use. Getting away with speed limit violations might not be as easy as you think. Only time will tell. bobbiiee: |
You haven't put up any fact to back this ypur claim up. Its just another mere statement to have a go at the government. Lagos government dont need your money, you just comply with the regulations for you not to kill yourself and othe people and you dont have to pay any fine. Cameras being deployed for enforcement of vehicle documentation have been working for over 7 years and I know of vehicle owners who have never paid any fine and that is because they are very meticulous with keeping their documents up to date. If we want sanity on our roads, we all need to applaud this but of course we dont know when to stop bashing the government. Governmentcan never do any right thong in our eyes over here. femmykenny: |
Some of your are funny. You like to do the hard things instead of the simple ones. You think govt don't know you will try to get around the rules by getting other states plate numbers. They are coming for you. Just wait ![]() femmykenny: |
I observed compliance on Apapa Oshodi expressway, my regular route this morning ![]() I know the kind of James Bond drivers we use to have before on that road ![]() God bless Lagos govt. |

The government you are dealing with are light years ahead of the game ![]() Trust me the only way out of this is compliance. jubrilELsudan: |

Fear of Jagaban ![]() Sim biggest undoing was when he gave a speech saying he will tell the youths what to do when it is time and then two pipelines explosions later on and he is gone. All that burning and demolishing house of Assembly Chambers does not affect Jagaban and Nigeria directly and so no punishment comes with it directly but with pipeline explosion and semblance of economic sabotage, that is unpardonable so Sim is gone ![]() Jagaban no dey play with money o, no dis and have peace. |
Pic is funny i swear ![]() The portrait of Fubara hanging on the wall makes it all the more funnier ![]() Image has all the echoes of 'you dont know how to do it, stand aside let me show you how it is done. ![]() Melezenawii: |

I do not get her point myself. If the air and atmosphere of Lagos is different and not good enough for her, why dont she relocate to where the atmosphere is good? To think most of these lots even influenced their postings to Lagos. Some even pay heavily to be mobilised to Lagos. You cant just explain some peoples beef with Lagos i swear 9jatriot: |
