Oga buy a commercial bus and put on the road.
Then come back in a year and tell us your experience.

There is a reason commercial vehicle drivers are scared of enforcement officers, LASTMA, VIO more than police. You will find out yourself.

So what about the commercial buses? If truly they want to work . Make we continue dy support bad thing . Las las no death with nothing to go down there with e go end. MkO no carry a single penny go grave

What has me driving on Lagos road got to do with the topic under discussion?

The topic is on speed limit reduction. You then made a claim that government dont care about road users, just money. I replied that you have not put up any fact to back up your claim or if a regulation on limiting speed on the road is not about government showing concern for road users, then what else does showing concern for road users mean. Then you brought up a totally unrealated topic.

What you dont realise is that regulations is a whole complex stuff and there is definitely going to be regulations on those areas you mentioned in the nearest future.

Problem is that when regulations come up on those areas you mentioned too, its people like you that will still come out and attack the government for coming up with such regulations.

For people like you, its just about government bashing else you wont choose a post on speed limit regulations to talk about government not showing care for road users.
Sheuns:
Do you drive on Lagos roads? If no, then there’s no point going further with you.
TravelRe: Lagos Installs Speed Limit Monitors, Imposes N50,000 Fine by Ayo25: 11:17am On Mar 28, 2025
What you put up there, how is it related to the topic of speed limit violations and payment of fines by offenders.

You see this is just about government bashing and nothing more.
Sheuns:
The LASG government and Ministry of Transportation in Lagos state don’t care about road users.

The main cause of traffic congestion on Lagos roads are Danfo buses.

95% or more of Danfo buses in Lagos have no lights, no brake lights, no mirrors or just one mirror, Smokey, rickety, not road worthy. Many of the drivers do not possess drivers licenses, yet these vehicles convey millions of people on a daily basis when compared to private vehicles.

What has the government done about addressing the excesses of these Danfo drivers that are reckless? One almost damaged my mirror this morning because of bad driving habits.

They do not obey traffic lights, nor traffic officers. They pose serious dangers to other road users. They drive against traffic at will and not even LASTMA officers can stop them, police also have little control over them, Road safety and VIO don’t even act like they notice them.

If LASG is truly serious about safety and value for human lives in Lagos and its roads, they must attend to the menace of Danfo drivers, Keke operators, Korope drivers and Okada riders. Until they address this menace, they’re only ripping off other road users to make money.

You need to think deeply and widely about this. Dont forget the president is from Lagos. There is a possibility that there could be networking between Lagos and other states on this and for crimes you commit here in Lagos, you could be apprehended for it even in other states and regardless of the state vehicle plate numbers you are using.

To think one of the roads you have the camera is on 3rd mainland bridge which is suppose to be a federal road. Thats to tell you enforcement of violations might not be limited by which states numbersl plate you use.

Getting away with speed limit violations might not be as easy as you think. Only time will tell.
bobbiiee:
Lagos government can't come for no one. Their number plate is probably the most used in this country. Except if the want other states to reciprocate.
TravelRe: Lagos Installs Speed Limit Monitors, Imposes N50,000 Fine by Ayo25: 10:13am On Mar 28, 2025
You haven't put up any fact to back this ypur claim up. Its just another mere statement to have a go at the government.

Lagos government dont need your money, you just comply with the regulations for you not to kill yourself and othe people and you dont have to pay any fine.

Cameras being deployed for enforcement of vehicle documentation have been working for over 7 years and I know of vehicle owners who have never paid any fine and that is because they are very meticulous with keeping their documents up to date.

If we want sanity on our roads, we all need to applaud this but of course we dont know when to stop bashing the government. Governmentcan never do any right thong in our eyes over here.

You think govt don't know you will try to get around the rules by getting other states plate numbers. They are coming for you. Just wait grin

Fear of Jagaban cheesy

Sim biggest undoing was when he gave a speech saying he will tell the youths what to do when it is time and then two pipelines explosions later on and he is gone.

All that burning and demolishing house of Assembly Chambers does not affect Jagaban and Nigeria directly and so no punishment comes with it directly but with pipeline explosion and semblance of economic sabotage, that is unpardonable so Sim is gone grin

Jagaban no dey play with money o, no dis and have peace.

I do not get her point myself. If the air and atmosphere of Lagos is different and not good enough for her, why dont she relocate to where the atmosphere is good?

To think most of these lots even influenced their postings to Lagos. Some even pay heavily to be mobilised to Lagos. You cant just explain some peoples beef with Lagos i swear
9jatriot:
Apparently, the air in Lagos is not good for her health, NYSC should in good conscience relocate her to Bornu or Anambra, the air in those places may be better suited for her
