BusinessRe: Part 2. Entrepreneurship Is A Scam In Nigeria As Well As A Multiplier Of Poverty by ayobamipeters(m): 10:17am On May 20, 2016
nice write up and well articulated points.
Whether its vocational, conditional entreprise etc all that matter is how much the government is willing to invest in the education sector because this will reflect in ur job creating ability , it doesn't matter which class of the entrepreneur u belong to. Mc Donald in d US started as a barbecue restaurant in 1940 but in no time the coy became a multinational and as at 2015 they already have 420'000 people working for dem. Isn't dat job creation?
Founders of mc Donald experienced growth just because they ve all it takes to bring creative ideas into wat people will call a menial job now. Let out leaders or lemme say the affluent invest massively in us , in the education sector and people will be amazed at what the results will be. Nice job again writer.

it's quite unfortunate that the structuring and the inculcated belief system of many Nigerians even within the so called elite is such that the university system in Nigeria is designed to give 70% theoretical knowledge and 30% practical knowledge, and that d polytechnic system is designed to function directly opposite to the university settings.... oh what a mess of the country's future. ain't gat much to say meh. May God give our policy makers ears to hear. kudos to the writer, this is not bad at all trust me and if you need help in publishing this! pls I wud be glad to be part of this great campaign for the revamping of our education sector. lol. more power to your elbow Sir.

Personally, i dont have anything against this eye opening article. It's only a government that has admitted her failure (directly or indirectly) that would encourage graduates to start learning how to make soap most esp those of whom our country's GDP(whether nw or later) depends on.
Go make your findings, no country has ever become the world power without a level of technological breakthrough and invention and the premise to this is sound engineering prowess. The recent Forbes billionaire's rating shows that about 1/4 of 100 of them are from America and the funny thing is that, about 23 out of this 25 Americans got their wealth from technology this in turn has a +ve influence on their country''s GDP. Once again kudos sir.
