Prince Adeoluwa: I burst into laughter wen i hearld and saw d Jamb cutoff mark why was dat, i dnt tink federal skul like ui will ever concur to such cut off mark, to me such cut off is meant 4 state university only. Notwithstanding it is useless 4 nw coz change of insitution etc, is close. And there is one tin i want to ask those it mean dat all universities ll mk use of 60:40 as i read it 4rm newspaper dis morning. Pls let me knw.

y is it very difficult 4 sum pple to understand? Go back and re-read d newspaper.ui 60:40 or 50:50 is for jamb and o.level while d one written in d newspaper was said yesterday by education minista dat every poly must admit students on 70:30 which means 70% of d admitted students must be admtted to science related courses while d 30% must go to management courses like accountin,bankin&finance etc.she also said dat universities must admit 60% of d admitted students to non science courses while 40% must go to science related courses60:40 so please dont create irrelivant topic again here pls

I want to say it once again dat ui admissn is d easiest in nigeria cos once u hav its requirement u re in.a unified cut of mark has been decided by jamb yesterday which fixed d cut off for universities as 180 and poly 160.pls dont be hapi wit dat 180 cos ui wil neva accept anytin less dan 200 and unilorin 240 for its medicine.now dat d cut off has bin decided by jamb i xpect all universities in nigeria to start d admissn immediately without any further delay.make sure u visit ui website on a daily basis cos dats where u can get d geniue informatn abt dis year admissn.dont send any result to anybody cos havin long leg in ui is just wastin of time.i hope they start selling d form til weekend or latest next week.gudluck

havin distinction makes it 100% sure for u but upper is nt sure cos many pple would be lobbyin.there is a little corruption in DE admissn in ui bt if u can hav distinction,prepare ur schl fee

d poly ibadan post utme questions are nonsense! There wil be 15 questions and u re goin to used ui computer base centre.we dont even knw hw they mark it bt all i knw is dat most applicants used to get admissions because their cut off marks are so low.d 15 post utme questions wil consist of current affairs,simple maths and futball issues for example,my younga broda dat sat for it last year was asked dat 'which club won uefa champions league in 2010' is dat nt a silly question? There is nothin in their silly 15 questn.u can check last cut marks at their website www.polyibadan.edu.ng there is nothin to fear abt cos d questns are xtra cheap

point of correction abt 700,000 score 200 and abv.no one can say for nw it is possible to be higher,lower or remain dsame.bsides,jamb result doesnt really affect ui admissn but ur o.level if they use 60:40 and it wil affect it a little bit if they use 50;50.ui accepts 2nd choice.dsame cut off is used 4 1st and 2nd choice candidates

there is no any difference btwn d 1st and 2nd choice cut off.ui uses dsame cutoff point for 1st and 2nd choice.dats d unique tin abt it.nobody can say 4 nw bt 2nd choice shortlisted candidates will write their own after 1st choice candidates

hahahaha...i de laugh ni o.i said senate meeting and u are talkin abt prospective candidates being at d meeting.d schl senate comprises of mainly profs,regristrar,vc,dean of faculties,dvc admin,dvc academics etc so watz d business of SUG president there nt to talk of prospective candidates.they may even want to wait for d list 4rm jamb or wait til on 20th wen d harmonise cut off wil be decided by jamb bt dont hav it in mind dat ui wil cal anytin less dan 200.continue checkin ui website
