U are very right bro. D fact still remains dat d federal govt is not ready to use logistical force to end d strike. I can boldly tell u dat majority of d lecturers especially d profs among dem are lamenting in university of ibadan.d adamant ones among dem are d young lecturers which are only interested in making quick money to build mansions overnight. Federal government can end d strike immediately by using d style d then unilorin VC prof shamsodeen used in ilorin. Fg should direct all d VCs to call all d lecturers back to their respective institutions or face d consequences of being sacked. I am sure most senior lecturers will be happi to return to classrooms cos d lecturers are only happy wen they lecture. D rest of d lecturers dat dont come to class if there is any should be sacked. Dats d style d then unilorin VC used dat marked d end of ASUU strike in unilorin up till date. Unfortunately, d FG is so weak to use dis style. Instead,they prefer students staying at home for d next 5yrs

They are nt gonna merge anytin. D bitter truth is dat ova 75% of Nigeria universities wont be admitting next year if dis strike can last for one more month.

Pls remove ui frm dat list cos It's like comparing two kids wit their parents.d first generation of lecturers dat lecture in oau unilag uniben unn etc graduated frm ui. Go and ask JP Clark, Chinua Achebe Shoyinka etc

Candidates must be very careful in choosing schools cos most university in Nigeria wont be admitting next year except unilorin dat is not on strike and they wont inform u nt to choose dem during utme registration

Imagine these people are said to have passed through higher institution, did project defence, seminar defence, passed all their semester exams for four or five years. And you tell me they can't read or write.....then something is wrong somewhere.....i think the lectures that taught these students down to the HOD are the real ILLITERATES, not the students.

i'm sure non of dem attended lectures or sat for any exam in school. They bribed their ways frm 100L to final year before the bubble busted in camp. These are d engineers dat are being employed as PHCN engineers

These are d graduates dat are tarnishing d image of Nigeria graduates. I monitored their stories frm d beginning wen all of dem couldnt read or write a simple sentence in d nysc camp dat made d nysc to raise d alarm. Imagine an elect/elect graduates dat spent 5yrs in school but can't name a country dat shares border with Nigeria. I know there are many dat went undetected.ESUT is doomed

Wot course was he given and which trade is he going to learn? He will regret not accepting d admission in d future. Not all traders can feed their family but with ur certificate,even with d high rate of employment,d future is sure for u. U can easily learn trade easily after graduating but he can neva school easily after learning a trade

Jamb kan only do dat wen d student as a high jamb scores only a jamb candidate wit 300 nd above.dat is being offered a scolarship and an automatic adminssn,jamb only regulates admission.dey cross check d list sent by schools 2 aviod manipulation.d sch board aka d senate r d 1ce in charge of admission if u dnt knw anything while nt mk reasearch or learn 4rm odas

u hav no idea of wot admission is all about. Schools hav little or no power in giving admissions,jamb has d final say. Jamb can reject admission given by school but school can NEVER reject admission given by jamb. Jamb also has d power to place high scoring candidates into universities other than their preferred choices. D fact is dat unijos has only sent d names of 30% of abt to be admitted candidates to jamb for approval and dats d merit list. D remaining 70% names will be out before d end of dis month

d lecturer is a joke cos 2 of my boys hav been admitted tru jamb site. Any applicant dat isnt admitted tru jamb site latest by on 31st of dis month should forget abt dis year's admission cos jamb has directed all schools including poly to submit their admission list before the end of dis month. Jamb registrar also said all admissions will close on 31st and 2014 utme form will b out by first week of November

Asari Dokubo dropped out of unical and rivers state university. A dropped out is now establishing a university. These guys are rendering university degree useless

instead of pressuring ASUU , turn that attention to the FG that are spending so much to maintain themselves

watz d schools doing wit their IGR dat is running to billions? D first university in nigeria was established in d year 1948 which makes it 65 years, ryt? Go and check d year of establishment of d so called first 1000 universities,most of dem if nt all are about 400years old. Dats how u ppl compare 53years old Nigeria with 237years old America
