I’m not sure bout them frustrating anyone. The time they increased their fees was when naira rates was really unstable. If they don’t want us they’ll close embassy nobody can question them 😂. I feel like their thought is that if you’re going to school 800€ should not be a serious issue for you (so it’s just like a step to screen out people yeah)

I don't think so. As a matter of fact, as at February, our verification fee was more than 1M, as at yesterday, it stood at 701k. The thread is quiet because people are trying other options while a lot are waiting for their appointment dates . As for me, our appointment date is July 3rd and there is nothing to ask on the thread for now, hence my small absence.

People that are currently doing their legalization please drop updates. This place is getting forgotten. And I’d anyone applied to university of Vienna for summer intake please I need the list of documents you legalized for masters.

According to the embassy, you’re not allowed to legalize if you have no “current request” from any institution.
So it’s better you start a process or email some schools so you can get a proof to present

The proof is the request either as email or from the portal, requesting the documents to be legalized.
e.g this is a request from Uni vienna requesting for legalization of my documents followed by an email, this request suffice.

Thanks for this. Yeah this is clear but from this method you have to start the whole application process before going for legalization. What proofs can I submit then if I’m yet to start admission process at all.

Can I mail the school? I have university of Vienna as my main choice but for summer 2025. About to finish computer science Bsc August hopefully without any strikes 😪

This No 5(a) asking for proof that you’ll use it in Austria does someone need to email the school for a letter or how?

Same school as me. But first secure embassy date first. Will Go a long way to assist in your processing. Others can follow after that

Yeah but I think I have to wait till like the date is around middle/ending of September or can I get august and shift it to September ending? Plus my passport is just under processing (I had to correct my name).

So, you do not need to go to MOE.
You can go to your HOD or the exams and records unit of your school.
If you finished from OAUIFE, hit me up. i can walk you through the process.

I’m actually yet to finish seff… I’m hopefully finishing august so everything should be done by September. I’m schooling at OOU and I’m hoping to get admission for summer semester 2025

Nothing has changed since the university verification email thing was introduced.
There’s a list in the MOE. If your Uni has Sent an email to verify your certificates, your name will appear there. Then you’re free to authenticate.
