Christianity EtcRe: Okotie Buys N120m Rolls Royce To Mark Pastoral Anniversary by ayonie: 6:24pm On Dec 22, 2013
ajoguegbe: And who gave you the statistics of poor people in his church. Most of you wish pastors are poor, it is the desire of the devil too, but its too late they have discovered their rights in Christ. If you as an ordinary member realize your right in Christ and work hard, you will join the rich class, its not meant for pastors alone but some are leading by example.

It was Judas who criticized Mary for spending on Christ with the argument that such spending should have been given to the poor, an argument Jesus countered(John 12:3-5). The same old trick of the devil: trying to use compassion for the poor to stop believers from getting any favour. For crying out loud 90% people are poor by choice not by chance. Many had the same challenge that made them poor but utilized it to become rich while they were giving excuses. You don't expect me to be living poor just because their are people who refused to pay the price that I paid. Some people are making money now while some are always on Nairaland lazying and looking for the next pastor to criticize, later in life they will look for those to blame for their poverty: either government or uncle. I have told myself, I have no reason to be poor and even if I am a pastor, it has not changed my conviction. Hate me as you can, its not my fault, I labour for it like some pastors do

Disclaimer: Please note that I am not saying there are no theifing men of God, but such people often return to poverty, karma catches up with them. And even if not, they will pay the ultimate price but it is not you that should judge a God's servant(Rom 14:4), no not in a public forum, bible is against it; it is not you that should join the camp of the accuser of the brethren (Rev 12:9-11)except you are working for the devil yourself

PoliticsRe: Kashamu Will Sue Obasanjo For Calling Him Drug Baron by ayonie: 3:34am On Dec 14, 2013
Hey you should be one to shut the crap up
He said the message should be dealt with before u re carried away with the messenger
Guy shut

Obasanjo is a "despicable human scum, who is worse than a dog".
Who burnt down Awka?
Who leveled Odi?
Who gave 'Ghana must go' bags to the National Assembly?
Who rigged every possible election we had in this country during his regime?
Who installed GEJ forcibly on Nigerians?

Obasanjo's name is synonymous with corruption so before he could say a word, he should first submit himself to Kirikiri.

He is a devil and I hope GEJ hangs him like Kim Jong Un hanged his uncle in North Korea.

can you please stop spreading falsehoods about Nkrumah all over this thread and learn to debate with facts.
Your facts are baseless cos there is no reason for debate here!
Foreign AffairsRe: Ghanaian - Nkrumah Is Greater Than Mandela by ayonie: 1:21am On Dec 14, 2013
Are you a fool.
Mandela is a great man, a model of African dignity.

However dignity and influence are two very different human characteristics , they may co exist but are not same
Kwame Nkrumah has the greatest influence on African emancipation.
Nkrumah is without a doubt Africa's greatest hero, he was in all mannerisms and actions his quest lead to African independence.

Mandela's political influence is confined within south Africa alone.
His legacy was not because of anything exemplary he did before his conviction but his defiance of human tendencies for retribution, his unification of the oppressor and the oppressed under a rainbow nation.
Mandela became president not because he was elected but he was selected due to his passive stance after conviction of minimal violence.

It offends african nationalism that mandela is saluted as Africa's first son. Nkrumah's and Sankara had more influence on African idealism than mandela deared ever to, and they affected the faith of African beyond the borders they controlled immensely.
what the HELL is wrong with these mumu ghanaians,do you want to undo what has been done? Are you the only african country that has great leaders. You guys should keep your dirty crap shut. Or is debating who the greatest african leader the way to unite africans. You are all a disappointment!
Foreign AffairsRe: Ghanaian - Nkrumah Is Greater Than Mandela by ayonie: 1:00am On Dec 14, 2013
chimzy2u: The comments i read baffles me! How on earth is dis a subject for debate? I see kwame nkrumah at par with the likes of Nnamdi Azikwe, nothing more. Do you know what it means to hold a conviction through 27 years of jail term and come out still holding that conviction? Even Urging South Africans to forgive the people who persecuted him. Does it occur to you people that after the breakthrough, SA could have easily become Syria Or even Iraq if not for his forgiveness theories? Make thunder fire those Ghanaian black monkeys wey dey make dis foolish comparison.
Hey man pls, dont go that far of insulting them. Ghanaians are only being childish and envious. Afterall,Africans are supposed to be one.
Foreign AffairsRe: Ghanaian - Nkrumah Is Greater Than Mandela by ayonie: 12:53am On Dec 14, 2013
@ Topic,u see Jealousy is cancerous. For someone to bring up this kind of topic is no good use and it is borne out of envy and jealousy. That this type of topic is raised @ this time shows the level of immaturity in Africa. I think integrity plays a great yardstick in measuring the greatness of a man, much more a leader.
Foreign AffairsRe: Ghanaian - Nkrumah Is Greater Than Mandela by ayonie: 12:26am On Dec 14, 2013
chucky234: Nkruma was partly fighting for his own interest and decided to enslave Ghanians when he finally got hold of power,he would have made Gold Coast his family property were it not for the coup.
4 years was enough for Madiba to hand over power to a new govt without having to go back on his promise,Nkrumah after spending 27yrs in prison wouldnt have given up power just yet but Madiba did.
Madiba's victory over apartheid had so many positive impact on the Africa continent, I think Madiba is the greatest of the two.
For me, Mandela was a leader who had the opportunity to go back on his words, but showed a great level of integrity. Integrity is what is lacking among african leaders today hence he is worth celebrated.

FashionRe: Should Ladies Buy Second-Hand Bras ? by ayonie: 9:55pm On Nov 28, 2013
You see, life is about choice. Whether used bras are durable or less expensive, that is not the best way to live a life. If you go to Idumota market, close to dosunmu you can get new bras that very quality and affordable. They are sold on wholesale. Why do you want to subject to a second-class life in your own country,it's not worth it. Some ladies even buy used panties, that is very ugly to imagine. Think of your health first before money. Life is more important.

Afam4eva: Whoever this Daniel is, he's out of his mind. Why are Nigerians so worried about the English language, which is a foreign language being bastardized but have no qualms with the fact that our children don't even understand our local languages let alone speaking it. I'm not even sure those that own the language are this overbearing. Someone should inform this Daniel that Funke is an entertainer and like other entertainers, they're there to make believe and whatever they say or do shouldn't be taken as gospel. It shouldn't be the fault of superman that some kids somewhere decides to jump off a storey building because he saw superman do it.
Man,you have just spoken my mind. Daniel Odih or Obih, d hater.
