gentlefada: there are two options available to u which are:
1) write jamb again and get admitted for law.
2) apply for a second degree and study law for four years instead of five (note that this might be difficult as it entail u having a good grade in ur first degree and being connected in the case of some skuls).

zezeny: As someone rightly said, u av two options: sit for jamb or get a direct entry form. As per prefferd skools to choose, no law school is not good in Nigeria. But jst make sure such skool is certified by d council for legal education ( the professional body regulating law education in Nigeria) to avoid being deprived of d law skool, as dere are many illegal law faculties in Nigeria dese days. So, BEWARE!!! By d way, which skool did u do ur History?

Graduated with a degree in History early this year, Buh I always wanted to read law, can anybody give me tips on what steps to take and possibly school that I can apply to, cos I have been applying for like two years now and still no result. berem: There's nothing outrageous about the money.The education sector needs proper funding.If our leaders can send their kids to foreign schools that are well funded,why should they not equally fund our own universities to meet up to international standard? The money required is small compared to the excessive looting going on in the presidency.

Get u facts right... Most universities,foreign ones that is are more than 50% self sufficient. So the best thing is lets get our acts right and privatize these universties so the level of education can improve considerably

0monnakoda: You are the one who is lazy and unthinking. Nigeria cannot afford? $7 Billion over what period 1 week ,1 month? I would rather not have fuel subsidy than the rubbish our Universities churn out much of which is on display on Nairaland. Nigerians spend billions on private universities and foreign ones too. We need to have a debate about HOW university education is funded. Going forward it probably should not be free and students need to pay more realistic fees.Government should decide to privatize many if not all the universities. Apart from corruption there is a lot of waste in our government eg Presidential jets ,Aso rock Feeding budget etc.
In just one year GEJ spent over 1 trilion naira that was NOT in the budget n fraudulent SUBSIDY bills so it is not true there is no money but even if there is money . I still argue students should pay tuition,and standards shoud be raised so our Universities can be competitive and PROFITABLE

What amount of education Do nigerian student expect to get, after paying tuition fee as low as #20'000 which is the amount been payd in fedral universities. as compared to what is being paid in other forign universities..

No matter how hard we try, we just can't do anything about we, not going for service this Nov. all we can do is just pray to God and hope for the best with the faith in mind that Come march we won't be left out of the service scheme......

Uniabuja mobilization list has been sent to NYSC, but u must be aware that Not all dept had their results approved before the strike. So there is a chance that those depts would not be mobilized. Bug as for those that were able to get approval for their results would definitely make it.
But by 25th of this month when mobilization list must have been released there we would know our fate

I must say I'm not as impressed as I was expecting a lot from the device due to all the bells and whistles they were advertising the phone with... at least battery-wise.

The phone is just a computer away from computer. . .but having to carry my charger around every time is no fun.
You'll just look up to see the battery percentage dwindling in the middle of your fun time. Not good enough for a geek like me.

I miss my Nokia's battery stamina.
