CircleOfWilis: Congratulations and kudos for the effort you have made.God bless you more. Thank y for the advice. Can you give recommendations (virtual or physical) of where and how to go about learning these learning Thanks I started with paid courses from Coursera, Udemy and I supplement them with videos from YouTube. Recently, I discovered that if one can harness the power of YouTube, you can actually learn these skills without having to pay for courses. That being said I still encourage that one pays for courses. You'd place more value on it and will likely be more dedicated. I also had a mentor in the field I wanted to venture in. He guided me on strategic steps to follow in my learnings. Your approach could be different really. There are a thousand and one ways to pick up a soft skill. |

Hi guys and ladies,
So I've been off this platform for some time now, actually left because I wasn't successful in the GT's recruitment.
Well before I left, I read some messages from peeps giving advices that one can learn Software engineering (tech skills) and get a good job.
Fortunately, I decided to pick up some software skills, fast forward Sha ( with sleepless nights, long hours of coding and applying for software jobs). I got a remote job (last month) that pays a lil above a million every month. I'm just writing this to encourage y'all. I am really shocked to see that NNPC stalled the recruitment for EH up till now, I'm sure the wait is frustrating. Substantial time and focus that would have been spent doing other productive things is being wasted scrolling through nairaland in expectation of APL news or the likes. I understand.
However, I need to advise someone here, If you have time on your hands, pls pick up a soft skill, it must not be software engineering, it could be video editing, graphics design, data science, data analytics etc.
With access to the right information, you would easily be making a living off these skills. I'm sure this will help someone here.
See y'all later. |

Flosmythbert: You sound employed but bored and underutilized. Make yourself more useful. There's more to life than being an overzealous applicant. I love your concise reply. I always knew you had it in you to be an intellectual. What remains is the heart to accept constructive criticism without bruising your ego. Only then can you be the full package. God bless Be Intellectual. |

Flosmythbert: By the evidence of your shallow and uneducated response, you do not have a single strand of intellectualism in your DNA and your frustration and Ill-temper are grossly and needlessly misplaced. You should be fighting the blogger who compiled the page not me. I have not purported to be a journalist or independent news source, so if you clicked the link expecting to see your name as a successful applicant, your apparent disappointment is only proof of your crass gullibility which will continue to follow you like a bad stench. You cannot imply my endorsement of the information on a page simply because I posted a link without more. Learn to use both your brain and your eyes, "intellectual". Dear Intellectual, Even if you made a point, it is clustered and the whole point of your essay is lost. This looks like one of Paul's serious Epistle to the churches of old Kindly summarize, I might end up reading what you wrote. Stay safe Be Intellectual. |

Flosmythbert: Nobody invited you to click and investigate, I just posted what I saw. If you're mature enough, you must know what is real and what is not. You do not sound like an intellectual. Next time you see a news, do well to verify it before posting once you re-post it, you are endorsing such news. Hope you have been enlightened. Stay safe Be an Intellectual |

Artexexes: Congratulations to those who'll be joining us soon!
Too many mentions and dms to respond pls, I have been offline for a long time till now, cos of the schedule.
Though we are currently going thru operational trainign, understudying some experienced contract staff at one of the refineries and access to quality info has reduced, we can tell that something will happen very soon for the remaining people. Some of our trainers who are EH hopefuls keep mentioning that they may soon be relocating to Abuja in a matter of days/weeks once the final list is out.
From all appearances, it looks like they could be more advantageous over other EH in this recruitment. But others from outside will still be joining as well, wish everybody success, and congratulations in advance! Guy shut the Bleep up. You liar. Eskiss sir, you are a smelling pig. Idiot that lied about receiving APL. you think we have forgotten. Smelling idiot. Your real dad. |

But wait oo. After giving Intel and you don't get APL how will you feel.
Just like teaching your class a course and you end up getting F!! Bros, No disrespect o, But can you see that you're stupid for a fact? I hope you really see yourself in this light. |

Gbyms: Hello guys Sorry for the late response. I just spoke to a recruitment personnel in mobil house few minutes ago on the status of the recruitment. She asked my test location of which I replied portharcourt. She told me that emails are still being sent out but only to successful candidates for now. She said we should be patient as it is in batches. Please guys refrain from spreading false rumours. Keep your hopes high. Be optimistic. I think those that have written should kindly share their experiences here. Thanks. Good luck. God bless. How far bro. What does this "batches" mean? Can you find out if they are still going to call those in Nigeria, or that's all for now? |

ThatsHowWeRoll: I stand to be corrected but no one has been called from Ph. Don’t know what the reason might be, but it’s a little bit odd They might have been called, but decided to keep quiet. like someone earlier said, he saw someone that wrote at Abuja for the interview. but no one explicitly said he/she wrote at abuja. Same could be the case for PH and AkwaIbom guys. |
