The inverter is a basic component of any independent power system that requires AC power. Inverters convert DC power stored in batteries into AC power to run conventional appliances. Popular items run from an inverter include computers, entertainment systems, power tools and kitchen appliances.

Modified Sine Wave
Modified sine wave or quasi-sine wave inverters were the second generation of power inverter. They are a considerable improvement over square wave inverters. These popular inverters represent a compromise between the low harmonics (a measure of waveform quality) of a true sine wave inverter and the higher cost and lower efficiency of a true sine wave inverter.
Modified sine wave inverters approximate a sine wave and have low enough harmonics that they do not cause problems with household equipment. They run TV's, stereos, induction motors (including capacitor start), universal motors, computers, microwave, and more quite well. The main disadvantage of a modified sine wave inverter is that the peak voltage varies with the battery voltage. Inexpensive electronic devices with no regulation of their power supply may behave erratically when the battery voltage fluctuates.
True Sine Wave
True sine wave inverters represent the latest inverter technology. The waveform produced by these inverters is the same as or better than the power delivered by the utility. Harmonics are virtually eliminated and all appliances operate properly with this type of inverter. They are, however, significantly more expensive than their modified sine wave cousins.
BATTERY
AGM (absorbed glass mat) is a special design glass mat designed to wick the battery electrolyte between the battery plates. AGM batteries contain only enough liquid to keep the mat wet with the electrolyte and if the battery is broken no free liquid is available to leak out.
Gel Cell batteries contain a silica type gel that the battery electrolyte is suspended in, this thick paste like material allows electrons to flow between plates but will not leak from the battery if the case is broken.
More often than not AGM Batteries are mistakenly identified as Gel Cell Batteries. Both batteries have similar traits; such as being non spillable, deep cycle, may be mounted in any position, low self discharge, safe for use in limited ventilation areas, and may be transported via Air or Ground safely without special handling.
AGM Batteries outsell Gel Cell by at least a 100 to 1. AGM is preferred when a high burst of amps may be required. In most cases recharge can be accomplished by using a good quality standard battery charger or engine alternator. The life expectancy; measured as cycle life or years remains excellent in most AGM batteries if the batteries are not discharged more than 60% between recharge. There are some AGM batteries we sell that offer excellent 80%+ deep cycle abilities.
Battery Tender Plus Gel ProfileGel Cell Batteries are typically a bit more costly and do not offer the same power capacity as do the same physical size AGM battery. The Gel Cell Battery excels in slow discharge rates and slightly higher ambient operating temperatures. One big issue with Gel Batteries that must be addressing is the GEL CHARGE PROFILE. Gel Cell Batteries must be recharged correctly or the battery will suffer premature failure. The battery charger being used to recharge the battery(s) must be designed or adjustable for Gel Cell Batteries. If you are using an alternator to recharge a true Gel Cell a special regulator must be installed.

According to what was posted on a website with a photo of the Anaconda, explains it was found in Africa’s Amazon River and has killed 257 human beings and 2325 animals. It is 134 feet long and 2067 kgs. Africa’s Royal British commandos took 37 days to get it killed.
A Nigerian online platform has however started a debate saying it is a blatant lie and the Anaconda must have been killed in South America and not Africa. All efforts that has made by Nigerian juju music superstar, King Sunny Ade, to make his upcoming US tour a success have met with troubled waters.
The veteran star, known as the King of Nigerian juju music, was scheduled to kick off his trek in few days; July 15, but the ongoing visa delay has left him with no choice but to put off the gigs, including a set at Chicago, Illinois’ Square Roots F.estival.
This is due to problems created by the Embassy of the United States as they have been delaying in granting him a work permit.
According to Alisa Baum, from the Old Town School of Folk Music, the main sponsor of the event, they are beyond disappointed that King Sunny Ade has been forced to cancel his entire tour.

And I know is most of those cameras are in bad state. At least these shld be a lesson to other banking sector. Or what are your opinions my nairalanders?
