Why are you born? Have you discovered purpose or is it your purpose to run people down on social network? Has anybody find time to ask Bakare why are you doing what you are doing and what experience do you have to tackle the nation's challenges. I have followed Bakare since Secondary School days. All the way back from IBB regime, he stood for something. Abacha times, he stood for something. OBJ Era, his Voice was not silent, Yaradua- He lent his voice, GEJ- he alongside some SNG people submitted an irreducible minimum quality that Nigerian deserves.

I have heard Bakare talked for years on Resource Control. He by the grace of God talked of resource control pattern as the economic model of Joseph while in Egypt.

I have heard him talked openly about True Federalism. When asked about disintegration of Nigeria, he has severally bore his mind that what will need is not division but true federalism. In fact, his distrust of GEJ was accredited to the statement of GEJ about sovereign national conference and reforms of constituions that we have passed that stage.

He as a lawyer has severally condemned the Land Use Decree smuggled into our constitution by OBJ regime as a tool for the elites to corner the resources of the people? There are lots of other issues that he has been saying for years, BUT I AM SURE NONE OF YOU KNOW THESE THINGS OR DELIBERATELY DISHONEST. The press have only sold sensational news to us about Prophecies that were either misconstrued or quoted out of context and some will back their claims with scripture as if prophetic gift is for foretelling.

These are serious issues. We that we believe in him will clear some damages done to him though he has always thought us that IF YOU CAN STAND THE MUD, YOU WILL SEE THE GLORY. And for those protecting their xtians virtue and fear the name of God being put to disrepute, THE NAME OF GOD WILL ONLY BE DISRESPECTED IF THE ONE CALLED OF HIM CORRUPT HIMSELF WITH THE PORTION OF KINGS MEAT, NOT WHEN HE SERVED IN KINGS PALACE.

Nobody talks about Buhari chances as much as before the pastor joined the team, therefore, there is an indication of an heavy change but the direction is the problem.

What you we fail to understand is that God does not compete to know one? You do not know why God wants him to run. It could also be a message to condemn the world in like manner the world was condemn for failing to recognize Jesus as Lord.

Since no one has said categorically that God told him it is a wrong step this man is taking, it shows the depth of the Church in Naija- everly confused on issues and use rational ideas to analyse spiritual matter.

There is nothing to confirm, You only read Bakare on news paper, you do not have idea of who this man is. When was the primaries? Which Party? Who won that primaries? How many people contested in that election? what position did he take? I HAVE REPEATED IT SEVERAL TIMES, UNTIL WE START ASKING INTELLIGENT QUESTIONS, WE WILL ALWAYS BELIEVE LIES.

Bakare never contested for any primaries or election anywhere? If you will be sincere with yourself, answer those questions or find out if you do not know. Stop reading fake papers. Or are you sponsored to tell lies about him?

My guy check people's post. Read previous comments. People have castigated Soludo and exalted Sanusi to support Aganga's claim. Those are the issues. And if I must correct you, the post is not about Soludo and Aganga. It is about our economy and the managers all together. I am not a fan of anyone. I am a fan of this Great Nation and will support all ideology that will move us forward irrespective of the camps such is coming from. Soludo's action is the way to develop democracy. It is only in Naija that is seen as criticism. Shine your eye, I am not playing games here or just typing to discuss thread. It is about enlightening our minds to see the real issue in our polity.

Can I round up, when businesses and economic policies are being developed, the capitalist always take advantage of the system thus the need for greater control and regulations. That was what happened after consolidation. Sanusi, when asked at his interview during the senate session what he will do differently, he simply answered that he will continue from where Soludo stopped and that is what he has done. Or the presentation to stakeholder by soludo did not detail everything happening now. Lest I forget, Soludo alleged to have submitted some critical bills to National assembly immediately after consolidation. I am sure many of the guys here are people who to some extent can afford some basic necessities of life else you are not really bordered about the problems of the country. You are only paying lip service to it. Let all credible people come out, let them keep talking, let us have different ideologies, let every region strengthens their resolve to be governed by right people. As far as Bakare is concerned, let him run, if he looses, it has not changed anything because the people in the time of Jesus preferred a notorious robbers to be set free to Jesus and Jesus was crucified. It was later that they regretted their actions. And if he wins, let us hold them accountable by their deeds in governance. That is the way to move Nigeria forward. You are not the one who called Bakare to ministry and how do you know what next in his assignment? Do you we guys even have an idea of God's call at all? "Come forth the man from Adamawa State" - do you remember?? How come Bakare does not think that the man he has been talking about is Ribadu?

Do you remember Bakare also predicted that Sultan Maccido will be the last Emir of Sokoto? Do you reckon we have a new Sultan in Abubakar Sa'ad??

Why do you think your man Tunde Bakare should still be taken seriously? Please ponder!

Well, addressing your joke, I am actually on vacation and it is a long one in in a long time now. My bank will not even give you access to internet at any time till forever time u re in office. Settled?

To your points to ponder on, I will not claim monopoly of knowledge on issues as this, since I am not Bakare, but I will only answer based on what I know in sincerity and truth of God's word. A prophet is not someone who PREDICTS. That is my problem with xtians because this is the understanding pagans. Prophetic utterances are gifts of the Spirit and it intended so give direction to the church, not for foretelling or sooth saying.

The dilema of every prophets is that people want the messenger to interprets the message. Like you said, Bakare said a man from Adamawa etc, but sincerely, did anything suggest that the Adamawa man will be president? I don't want to twist the message really or try to manipulate truth but analyse the details of the prophecy. Who says the fulfillment of the prophecy could not have been Ribadu in EFCC? I am not saying that is it but have u considered that.

Let me take you thru Samuel and Saul's story. Did God not thru Samuel intended that Saul's reign over Israel will be forever? Did it come to past? Did God not anticipate Saul's heart to know he will not do all of his will?

When Isa prophesied in Isa 9:6, what was in the mind of the Israel nation of that day? Did dey ever think Jesus will die cheaply the way he did? Was Isaiah's prophecies fulfilled? What lesson did you learn from those things?

The truth is that no prophecy is of private or carnal interpretation? Has bakare ever said anything that was true? Did he declare that MKO should not contest in 1993. Did he prophesy that the election will be canceled? Why was Abacha after his life? Why did Obasanjo Arrested him?

The true test of a man is the intentions of his declaration. Do you think the man enjoy controversies? Do you have ideas of sacrifices the wife and children have to pay for what he is doing? Do you think he was prophesying to gain popularity? Before many men of God in Nigeria came to "prominence" this man has been on the platform of the like of Creflo Dollar, Cerrulo, Adeboye, Woodrofe, etc and lots more? Is he now seeking popularity.

As per Buhari, how many times did Abraham Lincoln tried to become President of USA? What motivated him for those times? How old was Mcain? Is being old a sin? Ever before Bakare openly defended Buhari, I have been supporting him even when a lot of Bakare Church members thought it will be Ribadu. Bakare rightly said Ribadu was honest young man with interest for father's land but made mistakes. One great importance was Ribadu's Fraternity with Tinubu? I remember He did mention that of all these people, Buhari is the best man, I did not hear him say God told him. Is he wrong to have a preference based on his research. Must he galvanised credible and responsible people to vote for irresponsible looters. People say he should only be in SNG, mobilize people and do what? To submit to incubency? JUDGE IT HONESTLY, IF JONATHAN IS BUHARI'S SHOE, AND ANOTHER NEUTRAL MAN IS THE PRESIDENT, WILL EVERONE SUPPORTING HIM TODAY GIVE HIM A CHANCE? I BET IT DELE MOMODU WILL BEAT HIM HANDS DOWN. But Nigerians are lazy people. They submit easily to oppressors. And in our history only opportunist gets there and experiments with our resources? Bakare was leading song to praise Yaradua because he felt he was an honest man? But for fail health and when people ard him will not do anything to help him, he came openly and said he is sorry oo, the people ard him want him Yaradua dead.

Finally, all these sensational news and prophecies are just minute parts of Bakare's ministry. In fact for 3 years that I was there, there were serious issues discussed in church but the press will rather sell jungs to the public because we love it so.

One thing that I am sure is that Bakare has genuine interest of this nation at heart, and as per he contesting, I have not seen any provision in the constitution and the bible that says otherwise, but it is a step that surely requires caution and we should pray that he wont miss it. WON'T IT BE THE PRIDE OF THE CHURCH TO HAVE REPRESENTATIVE THAT WILL SHOW THAT TRULY YOU CAN WIN BY RIGHTEOUSNESS

I was a NIFES member. I attend Scripture Pasture Christian Centre as a Local Church, I left school got a work in a bank Osun State and Joined Life Oasis Intl Church for 2.5 years. The idea of I know u re a member of Latter Rain is somehow to me.

However, I have followed the ministry so well, listened to all the tapes, attended COPAC in Jos, Apostolic Summit in LRA and co and qualify to say some things I know today. You said Bakare made illustrations that OBJ was an elephants made to be king etc, with your knowledge as senior member (I mean that with utmost sincerity), should you judge prophecy by that literal interpretations. That is y I said I have problem with your listening. You can sit in front and here things based on your mindset. I will leave your conscience to judge you on that cos we are member of the same fold.

I later joined Latter Rain when I got another work with another bank in Lagos but that was just recent years (and for 3years) and had left because I had stepped out of Lagos finally for further assignment. Everything about OBJ issues, I learnt in school, got the tapes in school and was thoroughly thought by the grace of God thrus Pastor Olubi Johnson on understanding the prophetics. I have gone this route to let you know, it is not about church affiliation, but truth.

And for Buhari, how much did Buhari spend in his 3 campaigns and how much did he contribute personally? How much did LAM ADESINA spent in 1999 campaign to become governor? Answer those questions and stop assumptions

Jesus said "The prince of this world came to test me and the found nothing in me" . That scripture must be fulfilled. Let them scrutinized him and his church. Jesus was not respected, he was lied against, spit at etc. A generation must fulfill all of God's word. Who knows maybe this is what is playing out. When the pharisees were so confused about Paul's message, they screamed, "Paul too much knowledge is running you mad".

Be careful about your own integrity and leave Bakare alone. At best pray for him that God will guide him rightly instead of dabbling into things you do not understand

Was a military officer's salary all the way low compared to a teacher in those days and many civil servants? Was it true there were ex-bank managers that are poor now despite huge financial rewards in the past. You cannot compare 2 individuals achievement in life. There is nothing called my mates in life. How you live today is a responsibility of you lived in the past. I REPEAT POVERTY IS A CHOICE. BUHARI IS NOT POOR BUT HE IS NOT A MILLIONAIRE. Instead of all these base line assumptions, tell us the proceeds of his loot locked up in assets and equities that you know of and let us demand explanation. Buhari is living on good will of the people based on his lowly lifestyle and devotion to Islam which is an obstacle to christian extremist that believed that there is nothing good in Islam and they go for holidays in Dubai at every opportunity.
