Why should Bush Junior be president after being a governor and the father a past President?

Get this fact, if  parents has laboured hard to build a name, the coming generation after them will have it easy if they have the right Focus, after alll, Awolowo son's and MKO's have chosen not be involved for now. Apostle Luciard Biarde in Barbados is a religious leaders that spoke vehemently against the sitting prime minister and moved people in the society against the PM to stand down a policy. But people here have shown that they have no clue on the emmergence of a true Nation. Question: please tell us the basis of this statement cos this same bank was grossly affected at least first bank that I know was badly expose to the capital market with over 70% of of their loans being heavily provided for. Is this not same bank whose equity was sold at 33.00 naira per unit at the primary market few years back that is still struggling to maintain 13.00 price per unit? Can you compare first bank gross earnings to their profitabilty and to you tell us the efficiency ratio of that organisation.

Can you compare them with Stanbic IBTC, Standard Chartered result and Citi bank that have consistently maintain an NPL ratio of less than 10%. What happened to bank PHB is no different with investment Crash in the USA, UK and global financial market and this has call for increase in regulatory risk concern and several frameworks are being developed globally to addressed the collapse. Do not see things with one-sided lopsided corporate governance issues that have been explained for the Nigeria Banking crises.

And you gave Jonathan better assessment than Utomi cos they both have PHD? So what institution has Jonathan Managed. Do you even know what it takes to run a business school? Less risky shei? The corporate governance responsibility of the board of which Pat Utomi was a member was greatly compromised. In the 2 years or so preceding the CBN intervention, Pat Utomi was only absent from the board meeting twice. And during this period, a number of decisions that later plunged the bank into trouble were taking. If he knew and didn't do anything, then he is a disappointment. If he knew and didn't do anything for fear of Atuche (Yes, Atuche dictated to the board and was hardly/never cautioned. Who dare do that? Mr. Akin Kekere-Ekun can explain better), then he is a coward. If he knew and could not do anything or had his suggestions sent to the trash can and didn't resign, he is a hypocrite!

The guy - Pat Utomi may be a genius in the classroom or research laboratories and I will presume him one, but he needs to convince me that he is not another Dr. Magnus Kpakol (you know him? former Economic Adviser to OBJ and former NAPEP boss, an academics in the US before his appointment) - all theories and no real achievement. Is the Institution competing well with notable business schools in Africa today? And on bank PHB, why has Sanusi Lamido, a man who has vehemently revealed all the recklessness in the banking industry not nailed Pat Utomi for insider abuse like IBPLC Chairman, and other banks. I work at a top level in Risk Mgt in one of those banks and do not understand what you want us to believe that I do not know already. When you guys and Atuche were falsifying records and presenting fake Management Information Reporting, even the International Firm were deceived to invest in your bank equity believing it was a sign of healthiness. Tell me which Bank was properly managed? Check their books and see the amount of provision figures for that year of locust.

Many a time i don't quite understand Nigerians, we are all here comparing who to vote among three rogues(GEJ,ATIKU and BUHARI) yet we have a decent and progressive man like Pat Utomi in the same race and nobody have ever mentioned of voting him even if he did not win.

It is a known fact till today that Utomi and Buhari have been working together under the umbrella of SDM towards resting powers from PDP until recent times that Buhari has to join CPC and Utomi forms his present party. I have attended lectures where Utomi clearly stated that he will work with the likes of Buhari, Olu Falae and some others based on their credibility and support for good governance in the country. Learn to separate issues from person. Calling Buhari a rogue simply means you are not informed about the political activities in this nation. You are however misinformed that any past leader in this country is a rogue forgetting the fact that Utomi at the age of 29 was an economic adviser to one of these past leaders? Does that make him a rogue?

Please, Buhari may not have the intellectual capacity like Utomi but be informed that intellectual capacity in itself is not only sufficient to rule the country, you need strength of character, integrity, firmness and discipline and good governance is a team work not one man showmanship. The earlier you know that the better for us all because we will need the vote of the people that have been wrongly labelled as ALMAJIRIS as well to win presidency or are they not Nigerians?

And until we see things differently, and learn from our present state, we cannot move forward even if all regions have autonomy today. UK today is not as richly blessed like Nigeria (mineral resources wise) but you will agree with me that the quality of life by the common citizens cannot be compared with our life in Nigeria where all we boast of are our oil, good weather, good agricultural land yet suffering in the midst of plenty.

Lagos today has problems (myriads of them) but a sytem is evolving gradually showing what intellectual capacity can do to a nation. UK, USA, Japan, China et al are not as blessed in terms of mineral resources like Nigeria and many Arabs nations but the world Economy today is being controlled by some of them whereas the rich oil nations have not fared well like these nations.

Honest questions, apart from Rotimi Amaechi (and probably Duke) of rivers state, mention any other past or present Governors in the SS that has truly made any intentional efforts to leave a good heritage in the region including Jonathan. Ibori, Uduaghan, Alaimesia, Odili, Igbinedion etc have they truly served the region at least to the best of their ability that the law permits them? Tinubu was a "Crook" but he fought against oppression since NADECO days, risked his life, used his resources b4 he became gov (a former expatriate with Exon Mobil- Texas) and also stood against lawlessness against OBJ during his 8 yrs tenure. There is no way you can measure the contribution of eachregion as it were now until we develop a good system based on equity and fairness.

The poorest region in Nigeria as at today based on MDGs goal is the north yet the bulk of the nation's wealth are in the hands of few people claiming to fight for their interest. We all need to rise and chase these greedy fellows out of power. Jonathan was part of the old system just like everyother fellow in the scene now. Was Saraki leaving PDP for Kwarans interest? Questions to ponder on. 1. If Nigeria is your fathers company (and yours by inheritance) and u traveled for a long time to meet your father's company in the state Nigeria is, will you employ someone like Jonathan to turn the company back to profitability with this present credentials?

2. If you are a recruitment consultant and a bank is at the verge of collapse and your interest is to bring the company out of crises, will you just automatically employ deputy managing director who was part of the team that mismanage the bank int the first place or will you look for credible managers with history of performance?

VOTE PDP out simple. IF ACN or CPC gets there we will demand good governance from them as well. So leave the crab's talk. You will seat there, you wont support anyone, you wont do anything to make the difference and simple but to condemn everyone. Shame on critics

it worries me if you guys here have learnt the profession called politics. What do you think ACN has been using to reclaim mandates in southwest--- Media war ofcourse.
