thegoodjoehunt3: [b] [s] Arsenal Clearly The Better Team As Lucky Chelsea Park The Bus
It was always going to be a big ask going to Stamford Bridge and after the humiliation of last season, Arsenal vastly improved on last years performance and deserved at least a point from this afternoon’s match.
Arsenal started with Flamini, Jack and Cazorla in midfield, with Welbeck supported by Alexis Sanchez and Mesut Özil. The more conservative formation worked well, and restricted a robotic Chelsea side to only a few half chances.
It was a close contest, with Arsenal looking much stronger defensively than they have been in recent big games. Then a piece of magic from Eden Hazard broke the deadlock.
Chelsea’s number ten waltzed past Flamini and Cazorla, and with Koscielny the last man making the decisive challenge and give the hosts a penalty. Koscielny received a yellow card when he could have perhaps picked up a red. Losing a man and a goal from the penalty would have meant the game was effectively over as a contest so we were fortunate we could still play the rest of the game with eleven men.
But after that though, Arsenal’s “luck” ran out.
Oscar made foul after foul and didn’t pick up a booking until four minutes until the end, and Gary Cahill almost took Alexis Sachez’s leg off with a reckless challenge and should have been a red card.
Then the biggest decision in the game proved decisive in the end.
A shot from Jack Wilshere was blocked by Cesc Fabregas in the box, but clearly by his hand. It wasn’t even a close call – Fabregas had his arms high in the air and the ball hit them. I don’t care if it’s intentional, it’s a penalty.
And that would have made it 1-1.
Once Chelsea scored from the penalty, they parked the bus.
In Chelsea's recent game against Aston Villa, our opponents played "Park the bus" style but what happened? We won that game 3-0. Why?? Because we're just a really good side. Subscribing to your claims that Chelsea played "Park the bus" style what could Arsenal do about IT? Nothing!! Not even a shot on target. It's a shame!! Clueless team.
The only thing that'll make a Naija man leave the shores of Nigeria just to 'hit' a woman would be a situation where if he hits her "puna" once from behind, she'd vomit $100 from her mouth.
Billyonaire: Sensational writing and indirect worship of terrorism will not resurrect your Shekau. Everyone must stop reading from these silent sympathizers of Boko Haram. I have decided to stop reading.
drnoel: What I ask people is this. If u knew u were going to be killed by boko haram, will u just stay kneeling waiting 4 them to place a knife in ur throat and cut deep into ur neck or would u attack them and try to kill as many as possible b4 they gun u down? I won't sit and wait, I will fight to death.
I just found out what I believe is the actual story of NAF 466 , the Alpha Jet that was shot down by Boko Haram.
A company of Nigerian soldiers was attempting to overrun a Boko Haram position in Borno, it seemed they radioed in for help and NAF 466 assisted with a strafing run.
Due to the low altitude, the plane suffered major damage from ground fire, once the pilots realized a crash was imminent, instead of being concerned for their own safety and parachuting within territory controlled by Nigeria, the brave pilots decided to make their final mission a suicide run and aimed the Alpha Jet at a mass of BH fighters who were assembled about a km (or so) away behind enemy lines.
In their final act of heroism, they waited till the last second before parachuting out, knowing that even if they made it out alive they would be captured and killed by enemy forces, but their sacrifice for Nigeria would ensure numerous Boko Haram fighters would also die in the process.
They were right on both counts. The plane slammed into a camp of hardened enemy fighters (not frontline conscripts), killing about 63 of them.
One of the pilots of that flight, Wing Commander Chimda Hedima is the one whose execution BH gleefully filmed. I know that with such courageous and selfless individuals in the Nigerian Armed Forces, #VictoryForNigeria is certain!
AOB1963: [s]Let us cast our minds back, Keshi tends to start slowly. At the last AFCON he started with 2 draws and by the 3rd match, the Vultures were already circling him to tear him up, yet he won that cup.
At the last CHAN, he started with a defeat, and ended up with a Bronze medal. At the World cup, we struggled against Iran and still ended up in the last 16 ahead of the likes of Ivory Coast, England and Spain. Keshi has unearthed more new talents than any coach before him. We are singing the praises of Onazi, Musa, Omeruo, Babatunde, Oboabona and Oshaniwa today because Keshi preferred them to the known 'stas' [/s]
This case is totally different. We havent qualified for this competition yet so those your superstitions might be wrong. Yes we are singing the praises of new talents he harvested but my point here is that it's not a time to harvest talent when we have 2 must win games to qualify us for Nations Cup. He was supposed to call up our 'bestest' players for this match instead of going to bring boys from Pakistan League and the likes...like what the hell
Arva: Hhmm....GEJ is becoming good and nice to the nation these days. Good messages, sudden triumph over shekau and his boys, pretending to show affection and care for nigeria..... 2015 elections on his mind.
From all your comments and in other threads. I've refrained from mentioning you because I saw through you. I only did now to expose you.
Humour me man. So this session we just had exposed me? You're a clown
You go from thread to thread singing Boko Haram praise and insulting the Nigerian Army.
Thread to thread? Only two threads have been posted on this issue man where I've aired my views in no way insulting or downplaying the Nigerian Army. I categorically stated the lapses in the story of Shekau being killed and why I believed the Shekau in the YouTube videos wasn't the man killed by the Nigerian Army as gullible PDP minions were already claiming the resurfacing of Shekau is an APC induced news.
You analyzed the Boko Haram videos and "they are right" and then analyze the Nigerian Army reports and "they are liars".
Which is more important? The BokoHaram videos/ released statements or those released by the NA. If there are lapses in the stories released by the NA i feel they should be identified. Whether there are lapses in the Boko Haram released statements or not don't you think the Nigerian Army should end all of that instead of releasing statements that are most times debatable?
I don't need a crystal ball to show me a Boko haram sympathizer and enemy of the Nigeria.
My posts are clearly open for you to view. Unless you quote me showing exactly where I clearly showed support for Boko-Haram and clearly insulting the Nigerian Army you should remain silent. I'm not answerable to you same way you're not answerable to me. I had to take out time to tackle this issue with you unlike the others on this thread you've labelled BokoHaram sympathizers. At some point you even called me an APC Member....I just know where all this is stemming from.
TechWalker007: Yeah, you can "scrutinize and analyse" Nigerian Army videos but will swallow hook line and sinker every video from Boko Haram as perfect. Do you need to be told where your allegiance lies?
Quote anywhere where I boldly stated that the videos are real. I only stated reasons why I feel they should be right from my studies.
TechWalker007: Now you really are showing yourself. This video was released days after the Shekau impostor was killed in September. Those are pictures after he was killed. Use google, it's free.
Concerning the Cameroon Army. I told you I saw the post the same day it was posted and people commented asking if the Cameroon Army has killed Shekau. Several hours later, Nigerian media houses started reporting it. And again, it was the usual suspects who reported same.
See the screen shot below from the facebook page: Armée Camerounaise with the post. They deleted the post when it started causing controversy. Note also that they didn't write anything in that post. Just the picture. Lastly, that page is not Cameroonian Army official page.
I'm just putting it to you that scrutinizing and analysing information from the NA before making my judgements doesn't automatically make me or anybody who does same a BH Supporter.
I've watched this video quite sometime ago. This was what made it very clear that it wasn't the Shekau in the recently released YouTube videos this year. His facial structure, his almost bald head etc. Remember when I said I analyse all the details
TechWalker007: Yes. I actually saw the Facebook Page. In fact, they didn't write anything on the said post. They just uploaded the picture. This was the same day with the kondunga battle. The Nigerian Army didn't rush to give the news because they had to do investigations.
See picture below and tell me it's the same person in both...
I know its not the same person who was killed some time ago. Quite obvious. But our arguments here were based on the Shekau in the recently released YouTube videos this year right?
And about your claims that it was just a Facebook post that gave information about Shekau being killed by Cameroonian Troops, read this statement by the DHQ of The NA below. It was published by one of the leading newspapers in Cameroon according to the DHQ.
Camerounian Troops Did Not Kill Boko Haram Leader in Nigeria -DHQ Posted by Newsdiaryonline
The Nigerian military has debunked claims that Cameroun or any other neighbouring country was responsible for the killing of some terrorists in Nigeria last week. A camerounian newspaper reported that it was cameounian troops that killed Boko Haram leader, Abubakar Shekau.Cameroon Concord reported on its website (cameroon-concord.com) that “In a rare public show by the Cameroon army, photos of the Boko Haram leader Abubakar Shekau were made public alongside a statement claiming he was killed during a cross border raid deep inside Nigeria by the Cameroon military.
Answer my question. So somebody deemed it fit to just sit down and start spreading a rumour that the Cameroon Army had killed Shekau?
Well we've strayed a long long way from our previous argument. I'll just put it to you that scrutinizing statements released by the NA doesn't make me a BH supporter like you've been brainwashed to think. Our arguments are becoming unnecessary to me.
TechWalker007: You still haven't done anything. Cameroonian Army has channels they communicate through. Can you provide one where they claimed they killed the Shekau impostor? Stop giving me reports from media houses that don't do any form of investigative journalism.
So what's your point? That the story is either propaganda or a hoax?
