Visa approved at the Lagos consulate on Tuesday, November 3, 2015. Below is my transcript.

Me: good morning sir
VO: good morning ( with a warm smile) and pass him my document. He typed for a while and said, you are going to East Tennessee State University
Me: Yes sir
VO: what are you going to do in US
Me: to do my Masters Degree in Chemistry
VO: how many universities do you apply to and which of them admitted you aside ETSU
Me: I applied to four universities and three of them gave me admission (though I applied to only three but I didn't complete their application since I've been admitted by ETSU)
VO: name all the universities you applied to
Me: I named them
VO: why ETSU
Me: I have a very good conversation with Dr. Scott Kirkby (the graduate coordinator for MS Chemistry) whose research area interest me
VO: that's good. Which course did you study for your B.sc
Me: Biochemistry sir
VO: What are your emphasis in Biochemistry
Me: I told him my research project during my final year ( though I don't know what to say initially but God put a word in my mouth)
VO: that's interesting. Who's your sponsor?
Me: My Dad and also, I was awarded a Merit scholarship by the school (it doesn't reflect on my I-20 so I showed him the letter confirming it)
VO: checked the letter and said I should maintain the required GP in order to maintain the scholarship)
Me: Ok and thank you sir
VO: what does your father do?
Me: He's a building contractor
VO: that's good. How much does he earn
Me: he doesn't have a fixed salary
VO: but you should be able to give the range
Me: 500 - 600K
VO: I will be issuing your visa now
Me: Thank you sir
VO: Do you know Isolo
Me: Yes sir
VO: pick up your visa in there in three business day and good luck
Me: thank you

Thanks my people ddluv nd bbdd for your advice. All well and said I still have to give it a try cos people with lower gre than I do got admission with GA. Though I've mke research on schools lke Ball state univ, troy univ, univ of cancinnata and middle tennesse state univ. Please I nid u all to Hlp me find more schools that will accept my gre score of 288. Thank you all.

Hello my fellow nralnders. Pls I want you to suggest US universities that I can apply to. I had a gre score of 288 but I'm yet to write toefl. I'm a graduate of Biochemistry with gpa of 3.38 and I'm aspiring for MSC Biochemistry or related courses (MSC Biology, MS Chemistry, MSC Biotechnology, MSC Biomedical Science and so on). Pls tell me the universities I can apply to with graduate assistantships. Thank you.

I also did the interview yesterday but the question being asked was too brief. Hope they are transparent and wish to hear from them soon. The question that was directed to me was how much am I collecting in my current job and that their pay is 30K. But I replied that I'm not override by the money but the experience I want to gain.

I studied Biochemistry though I've spent all my years after service teaching.

I also received the message that I'm shortlisted. Please, take a view.
