The former Chairman of the Articulate Motorcycle Owners and Riders Association of Nigeria (AMORAN) and a chieftain of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Sagamu Local Government, Otunba Nurudeen Aina Alowonle, has extended warm felicitations to the Speaker of the Ogun State House of Assembly, Rt. The Articulate Motorcycle Owners and Riders Association of Nigeria (AMORAN) immediate Chairman, Otunba Nurudeen Alowonle, has extended a warm welcome to President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, who will be attending the 8-day fidau prayer for the late Awujale of Ijebu, Oba Sikiru Adetona, tomorrow, July 20, 2025. The prayer ceremony is being held in Ijebu Ode, Ogun State, where the monarch passed away at the age of 91.


Otunba Alowonle expressed his delight in greeting President Tinubu on behalf of AMORAN members. He commended Governor Prince Dapo Abiodun and the people of Ijebu Ode for their efforts in hosting the President and other dignitaries expected at the event. STOP HARASSING OKADA RIDERS...Ogun Amoran warns all Ticketers.

The Executive Chairman of the Articulate Motorcycle Owners and Riders Association of Nigeria (AMORAN) Ogun State, Otunba Nurudeen Aina Alowonle, has sent a strong warning to all the commercial motorcycle ticketers in the state.

The Ogun Amoran Boss made this statement at the union's branch secretariat in Sagamu, while resolving and addressing reports from the public, about some ticketers who are fond of applying undue force on Okada riders in the bid to check or confirm their daily tickets. He condemned the act of harassing Okada riders on the road and also instruct the state executive council of AMORAN to issue a warning notice to all ticketers across the state.

Otunba Alowonle, also used the medium to assured Okada riders across the state, on his commitment to their welfare and well being. He advised them to always ensure that they get their daily tickets before embarking on commercial motorcycle activities.

RE: THE PURPORTED RESIGNATION AS AMORAN CHAIRMAN; THE HANDWORK OF HUNGRY MISCHIEF MAKERS.

My attention was called to a leaked information by one pseudo-facebook user named "Aboodun Michael, who falsely and mischieviously claimed that I have resigned my position as the executive chairman of Ogun state AMORAN and that I have handed over to my publicity secretary, Otunba Taofeek Sokoya Danku.

In my usual style and acts, I always love to ignore such posts and information, as such news is not new to my personality, status and image but I had to officially debunk it because of my family members, associates and other well wishers, who are not pleased with this information and they have insisted that I must issue a rejoinder to debunk this false information.
So, I have decided to do the needful.

Let me use this medium to inform the general public and most importantly to all members of AMORAN in Ogun state, that there was never a time I wrote or issued a resignation note or letter to this effect. The motive behind the mischief- writer's intent still baffles me and I am still wondering on why he or she will come out with such an ugly lies and misinformation. Infact, to say the writer is a hungry mischief maker is even an understatement. Only God knows is objective and mission.

It was also alleged that there is a cabal in AMORAN. This is absoultely laughable and worths to be totally ignored. For the avoidance of doubt, there is no cabal in our union. What we have is the organization's executive leadership and structure which is ably led by my humble self till date. All members of AMORAN from the state executive council to the least member, enjoys a healthy and cordial relationship. May be that's the headache and agonies of the mischief makers.

I hereby urge the general public to disregard this false information and news, because it has no any iota of truth in it and moreover I still remained the EXECUTIVE CHAIRMAN OF AMORAN IN Ogun state.

The publicity secretary of the Almagated Motorcycle Owners and Riders Association of Nigeria AMORAN and who also is the spokesman for the Coalition of Ogun State Transport Union Leaders, Otunba Taofeek Sokoya popularly known as Danku, has commeded the Ogun state government under the executive leadership of Prince Dapo Abiodun, on the official flag off of Covid-19 Mass Vaccination Campaign held yesterday at the Arcade Ground of the State Secretariat, Oke Mosan, Abeokuta.

Otunba Sokoya while speaking at tge event on behalf of all the tranport unions leaders in Ogun state, lauded the health initiative to vaccinate over 2 million people in the state and assured the Governor that all members of the tranport unions will be encouraged and urged to get the vaccination within the stipulated period.

He further advised all tansport union workers to embrace the vaccination procedure and process towards ensuring their private safety. He also urged the good people of Ogun state to cooperate with the goverment on this laudable health initiative as it is the only way to have a safer enviroment and health situation.

The national executive leadership of BOLA AHMED TINUBU ADMIRERS  MOVEMENT (BATAM), have nominated the state chairman of the Articulate Motorcycle Owners and Riders Association of Nigeria (AMORAN), Otunba Nurudeen Aina Alowonle as the patron of the movement.

The National Coordinator of BATAM, Dr  Ibikunle Solana, who led a powerful delegation of the group for a courtesy visit and to inform the Amoran boss about the nomination as the Distinguished Patron of BOLA AHMED TINUBU ADMIRERS' MOVEMENT. He acknowledged the effective inputs and positive dispositions of Otunba Alowonle in grassroot politics and mobilization, alongside his continuing contributions towards community and youth development.

Dr Solana also noted, that the official confirmation and investiture ceremony of the patronship status along other eminent Nigerians across the country will hold during the BATAM National Conference and fifth anniversary which is scheduled to hold in Lagos on  Friday 29th October, 2021.

In a congratulatory message issued by the publicity secretary of the union, Otunba Taofeek Sokoya, he said, "Let me on behalf of the entire State executive members of our union, congratulate Chief Yemi Sanusi and others who have emerged as our State Officers in Ogun State.

We are particularly thankful to the congress committee for its steadfastness and total respect for the rules of the game.
