What type of development are you talking about? How did the military underdeveloped Nigeria?
Did you witness the late 80s nd 90s in this Country??

Justcash:
Yes, you are correct about how they started. I am not trying to argue about that. I am only trying to make you understand that the under-development and suffering that is fanning the embers of poverty in the North and Nigeria as a whole is more of a result of the impunity with which local government and state governments misappropriate funds, knowing fully well that the masses will blame the federal government. Then, when the FG demands for accountability, the same masses call it a witch-hunt and read tribal or religious meanings in it. If FG insists, the same thieves at the state and local government levels will cross-carpet to the opposition and use the masses against the government. Then the FG is forced to play along or lose their popularity. That was how people like BODE GEORGE, ALAMS and co wriggled their ways out.

If you think that Boko Haram conflict is an FG issue, then you have underrated the enormity of the issue on ground. The sabotage you see all around in this conflict is mainly due to the ineptitude of the state and local government officials of these states. It is easy to see that there is a big gap between these state and LG leaders and the people that they claim to govern.

We need to ask certain questions;
Why is it so difficult for the state and LG officials to mobilize their people to aid federal troops in varying capacities in this fight?

Boko haram members are Nigerians from the states and local governments that are being attacked, why do they seem so alien to these state and local government leaders?

How come Boko Haram is taking Emirs palaces and destroying government institutions at state and local government levels if not to protest social injustice?

Do you sincerely think that Jonathan or any other president can command a defeat from Abuja without a solid state and local government backing?

Finally, one is tempted to ask about the ROLE OF STATE AND LOCAL GOVERNMENT OFFICIALS? ARE THEY MEANT TO SIT AND BLAME THE FG WHEN THINGS GO WRONG?
The Nigerian Government is run on 60percent of this Country's income while the remaining 36 states share the remaining 40 percent....LGs included.

This is the foundation of underdevelopment in Nigeria.

Yes, out of all the emerging markets in the world, these companies are flocking to Nigeria because of APC/ogun state govt.
Good thinking.
No, because of the population factor.

Dude stop sounding like a broken record. If they wanted to cash in on the emerging market stuff you keep on repeating Nigeria being unstable would have not stopped them. So from your analysis they are in now cos nigeria is stable. Or did you wrote that by mistake?

Nigeria is more unstable now than it was 14 years back (2000) yet they are moving in so their must be something to that. The Fed is not at its best but atleast appreciate them when they get something right.
If you can understand the simple write up i wrote, move ahead and stop buzzing my mention.

ASL33:
Does it mean Nigeria is stable now?
Nope, but the potential is there and they don't want to miss out on the next emerging market in the World.

The car companies that moved early to China and India trippled or quadripled their sales.

Those that were late to the party regreted it.

No one is joking with the next emerging market.

These car companies didn't just wake up one day and say "hey, Nigeria has a new Automotive policy, let's go see if we can set up shop there".

They've been planning it for years now. I'm sure they even instigated it.

That's a Fat lie to Discredit GEJ, so after hatching the plan since 2000, they did not come till 2014
when GEJ brought out the New Auto Policy. Truth is if Mr president did not bring up this policy, those companies would be no where near Nigeria
I got my information from CEOs of these car companies years back in their interviews.

You got yours from GEJ.

If Shekau was the president, they would have still come. That's why I watch programs like "Quest means business" and not NTA.

Give me one reason why toyota will come in when they can easily export all of them all here as was the case before.
Like you said before, where is the electricity?
They stated the unstable situation back then too.

But access to the next emerging market is somthing they weren't bout to ignore.

I told you, follow the automobile business on a global scale and you'll understand better.

The Military under-developed Nigeria. Now that we're under civillian rule, we shouldn't keep tolerating mediocrity from our leaders.

GEJ is incompetent?? Vote him out

Buhari mounts the podium and is incompetent?? Vote him out too.......

No time for childish sentiments or else even our children will face worse.

APC are clearly more interested in the mistakes of the Government than finding real solution to a crisis killing and displacing Nigerians!

Government was wrong to publicise this ceasefire deal without being sure, but was right to explore the peace opportunity available to her.

Boko haram is a faceless and yet factional group, it is possible to pursue a lead that gets you to a cul de sac! This is the reality of modern day anti-terrorism.

But it seems to me APC are simply waiting in the wings to score cheap political points at every opportunity rather than join hands with the government as responsible citizens should do in finding a lasting solution to a real crisis.

In case APC does not yet realise it, our Nation is at war with a terrorist group that now have global links! The time for cheap local politics has passed!
GEJ's clulessness makes him a very easy target.

Fraudsters just took him for a f00l. He makes his supporters eg You also look f00lish.

And when they say he's clueless, you'll start defending him.

Doesn't he look st00pid now??

Why do you respond to that dishonest TANdroid when the reason for this development and many others is even stated within the article? It is known, beyond even Nigeria, the work Amosun has done to make Ogun State one of the favourite destination of FDI, businesses and industry in Nigeria. The reality of Ogun has zilch to do with the indolent and very corrupt GEJ and everything to do with the driven, focused, visionary and very efficient leadership of Amosun.

Even the world bank now confirms what I have consistently argued which is that Amosun is one of the very best governors in Nigeria and a truly transformational leader from a transformational political party. These are the sort of evidence even sane fans of GEJ or the PDP cannot dispute as proof APC politicians are simply the most impressive and most efficient leaders in Nigeria.
They are all the same, here, on Facebook, Twitter etc.

Very irritating bunch and full of lies.

They argue without logic or points and when cornered, they result to screaming......"GEJ 2019.

Is Ogun state no longer part of Nigeria of which the same GEJ APC attack dogs hate so much is president of? The new automotive policy of the FG was meant to attract this sort of investments into Nigeria.
They were coming already, they didn't need any invitation.

I've been aware of this since 2006. After their highly sucessful foray into India, China etc, they stated that Nigeria was part of the next incursion plans.

You could book a Spa treatment for her complete with manicure, pedicure, massage, facials and cap it with gifts eg her favourite music artists/ collection.......anything that will make her feel young and special eg a customized gift with her name eg (chain nd pendant).

The cash gives you room to be expressive. Don't think of one thing, think of a package that will make her week.

If this Country was being ruled by a Chicken, they would have still come.

These automobile companies have had their expansion plans hatched way back since the mid 2000s.

Their incursion is not as a result of GEJ's policy.

Try to follow international news and expand your horizon.

Fighting Boko Haram is the FG's responsibility.

Stopping Oil theft is the FG's responsibility.

Must the international community always spell out the responsibilities of GEJ to himhuh

He always goes out to say "Other countries should help us tackle our problems" while he sits back and concentrates on clamping down on the opposition.

Thanks For the info.

I'm supposed to travel to Owerri soon, I hope the bridge isn't on my route.

This awareness is much needed.

They say GEJ is building roads, all it takes is rain or lack of maintainance and the road will be back to a terrible state.

We need more permanent things like a change in attitude of Nigerians and our leaders..
