PoliticsRe: Opinion: APC Can Now Consider South-south For 2023 Presidential Ticket by BaaleOko: 12:28am On Feb 26, 2019
Kagawa10:
If not for Osinbajo's grassroot campaign, Buhari would have been defeated totally in all SW states because most Yorubas think he's just a figure head who has no say and that there was Islamic agenda to Islamise the southwest by Buhari.

I know of the time it took me to convince my mum about Buhari government because she had believed the opposition propaganda about Buhari wanting to Islamise the country and when I brought up the fact that a pastor like Osinbajo is the VP, she was like, he's a figure head that has no say in the government. In fact, the Islamisation propaganda was more emphasized especially after fulani herdsmen and kidnappers attacked some parts of Ondo and Oyo states. Hence, some Yoruba weren't seeing Osinbajo when they see him but Buhari. That was probably why he lost his polling unit.

Another was the hunger on the street which many thought it was due to Buhari govt but thanks to Osinbajo grassroot efforts to enlighten many. That is why Buhari was able to win in most of the SW states, if not for this, Buhari would have lost all especially when you consider the lakaidasical attitude of some stupid APC governors who care more about themselves than the party.
Omp wake up, see how Aboki dey talk funny now because they didn't get any bloc votes... It's fine if you can't trust Igbos politically and all, but deep down you know Igbos at least have a heart and can compromise sometimes... Aboki no send una, they are very ruthless when it's comes to consolidatimg their Northern interest... and even 2023 isn't too certain for you guys if you don't wake up and play a faster one on them, it's all about their interests and nothing more. You can call me Ipob if you want, but time will surely vindicate me... Don't be surprised if they field a South Southern candidate or even another Igbo just to pay you guys back for almost costing Buhari a landslide victory.

No block votes for u in the north. Kill urself
Your chances of getting killed before me are higher if we are to be honest, I trust Boko haram to do the needful soon, and hopefully locate you and your wretched family this time.

Did you queue to vote any of the two abokis that just contested for the general elections?? Then you're even more dumb and foolish than the whole almajiris in kano put together
Didn't vote and I could care less about Atiku or Buhari, they are just two fulani scammers that will secretly tanka dede each other and toast to another 4 years of pending disaster and Fulani domination.

Choi.

Fulani's have played SW. Imagine Osibanjo the shining light of this mediocre government is now being played.

I foresee a serious frustration being melted by the cabals on Osibanjo.

On a serious note, it won't be fair for north to treat SW this way after all the west has done for Buhari.
The SW will be fine, it's only the few idiots among them like these imbeciles on nairaland that I pity the most... But reality will soon hit those ones when Aboki start acting funny in coming weeks.

The best bet for the SW is to align more with the greater south, a SE/SW/SS combo is enough to break the overrated Northern hegemony.. But will it happen is another question...if this election has taught me one thing, it's the fact that there's still hope for a Southern unity ahead of 2023, the South West didkt give Buhari a bloc vote and against all expectations even have Atiku a fighting chance... sucks Atiku isn't popular in the North and even lost his own turf to Buhari.

SouthEastFacts:
Good for you.

But we hate you guys more. No matter our differences with the SW, we can never betray Southern interest because of you guys. We rather stand with the yorubas than you guys.

Hold the Presidency for 200 years, you can never compete with the SE in any known indices.

The only reason you are running your mouth is because the yorubas still believe Ndi Igbo are their problem. The day they identify with Project South will be the day you guys will be sent back to Funta Jalon.

If you think we are expecting anything from you guys, you are mistaken. We don't give a shitt.
I detest those Aboki lowlives with a passion, I wish I had the Hitler factor at my disposal right now, God knows what I'll unleash in that accursed region will be worse that any genocide the Jews faced... that's how much I hate those Bas.tards...i curse the day I was born into that country called Nigeria, Igbos really need to wake the fuvk up and start leaving the North en masse, we are so stupid as a people that we don't see how much those Aboki subhumans want the very worst for us.

We won't want to see you resurface with biafra or death slogan after Atiku is finally sent to Aba Sha. It will be too shameful to regurgitate your forsaken stance.

Those who were campaigning for Atiku online are yorubas or those who queued under the scorching sun to vote a fulani Muslim jihahists were also yorubas? Don't ever think we'll choose you over yorubas... Everyone makes mistakes and the reason I'm saying all this is because I know my pipo are full of vandetta. So the earlier yorubas fix the little problems they have, the better for them. It's not like I see you lots as allies per se. Yoruba over Igbo till the kingdom come
The case of a butterfly that thinks itself a bird, look at these Aboki terrorists whose region has the worst humanitarian crisis situation in the West African subregion, highest poverty index among the very worst globally, terrorist ridden with more Boko haram bombs waiting to wreck havoc on your worthless population soon insha Allah, go fuvk yourself, and after that join your pedophile prophet in fuvking yourselves in hell even more. Bas.tard, na the usual Nigerian factor that elevates mediocrity and lack of unity among the South dey give una mouth to talk Sh.it. Imagine the audacity of these kuturu looking subhuman whose leprosy striken parents probably beg on the streets to eat. God punish you there.
PoliticsRe: How Atiku Won Akwa Ibom: Full Presidential Election Result by BaaleOko: 8:43pm On Feb 25, 2019
Kennydoc:
Even though Tambuwal has a better image in the North, he still wouldn't have won Buhari there. Is it Borno and Yobe that would have voted Tambuwal? PDP only managed to win Adamawa cos it's Atiku's home state. No other Northern politician would have won there.
Maybe you're right, but on a comparative scale a Tambuwal would have done way better in the North. But at the end it would take a very special type of politician to beat Buhari in the North... as much as I don't like his administration, I have to admit he's a man greatly admired and loved by his people in the North.
PoliticsRe: How Atiku Won Akwa Ibom: Full Presidential Election Result by BaaleOko: 8:32pm On Feb 25, 2019
AyakaDunukofia:
Atiku obviously has a very deep image problem in the North, very severe. Imagine if the north had reciprocated his acceptance in the SE, SS and surprisingly the SW. The SW even ignored the fact that there son is a sitting vice president and voted for him, winning two states and almost drawed in two, Osun and Lagos?

Something is wrong!
Atiku has never been a popular figure in the Nigeria as far as politics is concerned, much less the North where he's just another regular rich guy with no clout. Compared to Buhari who is a demi god up north, Atiku stood absolutely no chance. PDP's biggest miscalculation was fielding Atiku as it's presidential candidate. Someone like Tambuwal would have been a far better asset in destroying or considerably reducing Buhari's invincibility up North... I guess PDP will bounce back stronger in 2023 cause Buhari whos probably the only reckoning force for APC... will not be there anymore.
PoliticsRe: How Can 157,000 Votes Be CANCELLED In Nasarawa? by BaaleOko: 8:14pm On Feb 25, 2019
Lol una still dey take this election serious, gave up on the nosense from the very day it started cause I knew it would end up been a massive joke... at the end every realistic mind knew a "grab power at all cost" fellow like Buhari with his rigging machinery/incumbency power would win. And it didn't help much that Atiku isn't really a popular figure in the North compared to the likes of Tambuwal or even Kwankwaso... Las Las Buhari go win, his dumb followers will bore us with their 4+4, Igbo hating, Ipob bashing shenanigans for a week or two, then the Atikulate or Sai baba nonsense will end... then everyone settles into the new reality of more 4 years of suffering, unemployment, hunger, fake anti corruption antics and fulani herdsmen will resume duty. I just want Igbos not to stake their necks in the muddy politics of Nigeria, and focus on making money to build the infrastructures in the East... or travel abroad to seek better opportunities for those that can afford it... I thank God most of my family and my humble self are in yankee, only God knows how person for suffer if we were staying in Nigeria.

Those you call BMC are mobilising voters for Buhari. You on the other hand are not voting and are insulting potential voters who could have voted Atiku.

Atiku's greatest curse is having you people support his candidacy.

Bring on Nairaland a Oyo vs Osun or Ekiti vs Ondo thread and let me bring such for Ibos

On the web bring where one Yoruba community rejected a man for being from another Yoruba community

If its Yoruba killing, I will give you enough from Umuleri vs Aguleri or Ezza and Ezzu
You know the problem with you yorubas is that you lots do so well on lies, self-serving propaganda, and just plain unadulterated crap. Once again your dumb self keeps using baseless Nairaland metrics to determine a whole fuvking ethnic group, like how more stupid could you get before your ewedu brain gets the difference? There are countless threads of all sorts of heinous crimes against humanity like skull mining, ritual killings, and other criminal acts been done by yorubas on yorubas.

The South West currently has the highest number of political assassinations in Nigeria with notable figures like Bola Ige and Funso Williams, weren't those assassinations sponsored and executed by your people??

Even a whole Aare ona Kakanfo like Abiola was betrayed by yoruba elders who sold his mandate to Abacha, the likes of Diya a Yoruba man even backed Abacha in many instances to victimize NADECO leaders and other yorubas.

The worst intertribal clash in Nigeria's history was arguably the Ife-Modakeke crisis.

Two powerful yoruba political fathers Obafemi Awolowo and Akintola were sworn enemies whose rivalry birthed the operation Wetie crisis where political opponents killed, doused with petrol and set fire on each other in yoruba land.

The worst inter tribal war in Nigerian history was the Kiriji war that lasted for almost a decade, and was fought by yorubas on yorubas killing each other.

I could go on and on citing past and present facts to back my arguments up, yours are just plain baseless and idiotic to be taken seriously.

Mind you the same Igbos whom you said hate each other, banded together and fought in the Biafran war for three solid years against Nigeria... I don't think people who hate themselves would have lasted that long.

If you think Ibadan demean Ijesha and co

Go and read what they write about Ngwa, Mbaise, and Ebonyi people from their fellow Ibos especially those from Anambra

Recently within Anambra they have started insulting Aguleri

Even in the same Ibo Catholic church people from Imo rejected a priest from Anambra, Its the Pope in Rome that was helping them to resolve this hatred

https://punchng.com/pope-summons-imo-catholic-priests-for-rejecting-bishop/

At least this is not Nairaland

Imagine a Yoruba redeem church in Ekiti rejecting a pastor from Osun
You keep bringing up few isolated cases of bad blood between brothers, I mean that's rather idiotic considering it's a global problem that pretty much affect every other ethnic group in Nigeria and world wide, abi schisms like this no dey yoruba land? I could also pull up reports with its sources of yoruba killing yoruba or committing all sorts of vices among themselves... so this is too basic and miscrospic to draw blanket deductions on.

Ibos hate everyone they Even Ibos hate themselves. Shebi as Abia state sacked all non Indigenes including Ibos, Same with Anambra

On this forum you will see Anambra vs Enugu threads, Anambra vs Imo, Abia vs Ebonyi abusing themselves

Imagine have you seen any thread of Ogun vs Oyo or Osun vs Ondo?
I was born in Ibadan, grew up among yorubas all my young adult life so don't come here and lie to your ancestors. An Ibadan man will always demean an Ijesha man at any given opportunity and a Ondo man will mock the thick dialect of an Ibadan man, an Ijebu man no dey take eyes see Ekiti man etc... after the Northerners, Igbos are probably the most united people in Nigeria. Only a rich and made Igbo man will pick a complete stranger from the village or anywhere, make him an apprentice with full benefits attached... make him learn the trade very well, and upon completion of appretenship, settle him well enough to set up any business of his choice... that's the secret to how lots of Igbos make it big and keep sharing the wealth evenly. No yoruba, Hausa or other ethnic group for that matter practices this scheme. So don't come here and use some useless Nairaland metric as your basis to claim Igbos hate themselves cause that's a fat lie.
