nairalanders i hv an almost similar problem wit keleto, although when i meet with my landlord we always reach an agreement on a rent increase (this was like a year or two ago). now he is at it again and i cant allow it this time. he has sent two different agents claiming they are in charge of the house when i deal directly with the landlord , the recent one being his son. what steps can i take legally against him, is he meant to serve me a notice knowing fully well that ma rent expires in six months time

ps: d letters of notice that was brought requires that i sign on them but i refused on both occasion but i hv a copy

the one you create would be your account and the windows one would for administrative purpose eg getting in cases like the one you have

hi i got anoda probs again ooooo, a gateway laptop was brought to me. the problem is tht the owner gave it to someone to help install an antivirus but the person fiddled wit her login password. pls can someone help me wit how i can either remove the password completely or change it to the owners desired choice

Did you try this, take off the battery and plug in charger and see if it turns on


and hooking it up to extenal monitor just in case it might be the its monitor playing up

bad motherboard, try this, remove the battery and adapter, hold on the power button for 60sec,

put everything together and try putting it on, if the problem still persist, then that might be the end of yur lappy,

@zim drill, i tried using a friends dell charger ( a vostro series ) 2 b exact and it worked perfectly, so il b gettin mysef a new charger

there is nothin commending about cbn shifting d date, it should b a continous thing

its still showing the "plugged in, not charging"remember i did an O.S upgrade so my restore point all falls in when it started acting dis way. any ideas

so it means the charger charges  but the icon says the opposite

try to scan your computer for any virus or do a system restore to a date before it started to be playing up

after much googling i finally got it up n running its actually charging rite now ( its showin d light 4 chargin, which was not d case when it d chargin issue). dis is d link for anyone who has or will have the same problem as i did

how did you charge the battery when it says not charging ? and is the charger the original or an aftermarket ?

i plug the charger to power and connect it to the laptop, the charger is the original one

i have a dell inspiron 1525, weneva i plug it to power n i check d battery icon it say "plugged in, not charging". i have changed the battery, did a bios update n operating system upgrade (frm vista to windows 7) but no luck. has anyone encountered or knows how i can get out of this fix wil b highly appreciated

ps: option of changing the motherboard is out of the question
