guy come on!!!...anyways as an Electronic and computer engineering graduate, i'll speak in my capacity to disprove your 'theory'.

Though I'll admit current actually is the cause of electrocution BUT without enough voltage to allow for the work of current flow in the conductor, electrocution would not occur. simple

High voltage + current flow in capacity of the ((PD(voltage))= electrocution

You're right but you forget ohmic law viz v = iR.
Anybody can only electrocute if his resistance is not that much to withstand the voltage. The ability of a resistive materials to withstand the voltage is what give rise to current.

So I can say that the baby has lower resistance in his body compare to the 230 voltage in the supply which made the high current developed in his body to charr/burn him . Chikena....lobatan

Something's fishy here..I think

please keep ur atm card well especially with the new gtb smart way of transferring money now, where d only security key is the last four digits of ur ATM CARD. Be wise

Thanks boss!

doublewisdom:
I don't think you understood my post.

ATM rarely be down but inverter s when there's no power

doublewisdom:
For what? Within 24 hours there will be fuel everywhere.
As if the ATMs dey work before sef.

Do you think you can withdraw money at night without an inverter servicing the ATM s??

Following.... no experience but deep passion on this field

Fulaman198:
Sounds good bro

Thanks for your time and effort on us aspiring e-IT expert

Fulaman198:
As long as this thread keeps going (which I hope it does) you definitely can. I'm a busy guy so you may not see me online much, but I try to come on Nairaland as much as possible.

Since I followed you,I have already put tab on you be that..lol...which I can always see your footprints as you sneaks in and out of nairaland...

Fulaman198:
Np, you are welcome, I hope that you will become one of us and start Network Engineering. It's one of the most fun things in the I.T. world.

Yeah very soon...I hope I can always count on your help as the needs demand??

Fulaman198:
I would start of with CCENT (ICND1 100-101) then I would continue to CCNA (ICND2 200-101) from there you will have a CCNA R&S (CCNA routing and switching). You can choose what you want to do next, there are many tracks. You can do CCNA Security which is extremely popular, you can do CCNA Wireless (which I find useless), CCNA Data Center, CCNA Collab (working with Voice and Video protocols), or you can skip all of that and go directly to the CCNP R&S. Personally if you are not working with VoIP or streaming live video over the wire or through the air, I would go with Security if you have a passion for Security. CCNP is more desirable though than CCNA Security (but they are both good to have on your resume).

But my advice for you is to be the Network Engineer/Analyst that understands packet flow and understands packets. Learn Wireshark as well.

Thanks fulaman

Fulaman198:
You need to understand networking before you can do security. CCNA gives you that foundation. You do go over some brief security. Voice is only if you are interested in VoIP and CCNA voice will soon be retired in favour of CCNA Collab.

So which particular ccna is the best to do at this stage?

I know ccna voice and data is out of it....

you can email me your numba so we can chat on whatsapp if thats okay?(purplekaycee@gmail.com)

Fulaman198:
Since you have already graduated from Computer engineering, my advice for you is to go for certification if you are into Networking and Security.

1. I would start off by obtaining the CCNA and possibly eventually going for the CCNP. There is so much Networking knowledge gained by doing this.

2. I would learn about WireShark and how Network Engineers, Network Protocol Analysts and Forensics Experts use it as a Security tool, Troubleshooting tool, and other things.

3. Once you have a more solidified Networking foundation, I would look into Network Security certs like CCNA/CCNP Security, CEH, CISSP, etc. (I didn't mention Security+ because I feel like its useless and easily self-learned).

Thanks bro....but it's better to start off from ccna security too not data or voice's one?

Fulaman198:
It depends on your school and the options they give for computer science. I advise seeking a career counselor and inform them that you are interested on Network engineering and inquire what path that you should take.

Mind you fulaman,I'm a graduate of electronics and computer engineering with a strong passion for cybersecurity...what I mean was that how can one follow the path of networking track with security you mentioned earlier on

Mbkite:
gud!

Fulaman198:
We don't want it to be male dominated, please become a Network Engineer as well

I hope this story inspires you: http://www.cisco.com/web/SG/partners/emails/woman_rock_it.html

I just feel that women don't want to get involved in it. If you want to be a Network Engineer, I don't know what path you decided to go with in Comp sci, but I would recommend taking the Networking track with Security.

How could one thread this path?

I would like to know what happened next.

I haven't heard from either end but I still maintain my current job....

chai! Gobe.
I wil tell him to keep it secret, because i sneaked out. I hv to be truthful to him.

Loooool
I keep it secret till now and do as if nothing happened

This has happened to me too.Similar ugly incident roared its head when I went for an interview in an Indian firm.Unfortunately,it's a technical engineering job and I was made to interface with the head of HR who knows my current MD and two of our staff very well because unknowingly to me prior to this, they are into business with each other in some forms. The audacity he related with me by mentioning their respective names caught me unawares and I comported throughout. To add salt to injury, after the whole interview, he sent regards to them.If you were the one, what would you have done??

It's a real life experience....

Am glad that some people spoke up for men being virgins too because i was beginning to wonder at why the writer focused on just females when it takes a man to disvirgin a woman.

May Allah guide us aright.
