I should be d one thanking u , God bless u sir

Ameen

I support your view but my own contribution is that from the time immemorial, politicians have been using ethnicity, religion etc to seek our support and I believe this has to stop now.Whether you are Muslims, Christians or whatever you are, time has come to use the only power you have to strike bad leaders I.e by voting . Enough is Enough!

We don't want leaders alike who believe stealing is not corruption but rather we want someone with integrity and there's no one else as GMB

not exactly, being recalcitrant isn't her character. she was just determined to have her way on this particular issue.

Allah knows best!

Jazakumllahu kayran

I can marry an illiterate provided she has other qualities I want....

jiddama:
she is my hero when it comes to marriage issues because hers was the true love story.

Good but if it is so,she supposed to have been recalcitrant to the core...

Why do you need ond only?? Don't you want to pay,I guess??

jiddama:
this piece really exposes the real situation on ground.'husband scarcity' isn't an issue that came out of the blue, it gradually developed to this catastrophic nature. thanks to SOME materially-minded ladies who feel that love is directly proportional to money.
I liked her statement about marriage not being a poverty alleviation program. it reminds me of an incident that happened right here in my family....
It all began when zarah my cousin came back from her studies abroad. and everyone knew marriage was the next step for her. But what they didn't see coming was her choice of husband material. they actually thought she was also going to go in search of a ready made husband. but she deviated from that line of thought.
she brought home Umar. so let me summarize the story:
1. zarah was kanuri/shuwa Arab by tribe and Umar was an igbira man.
2. zarah was 'London educated' as they put it and Umar graduated from one of own Nigerian universities.
3. zarah who was a pharmacist was working with one of the pharmaceutical companies in kano and Umar was a hardworking small scale business man.
4 zarah was pretty and Umar was an average.(yes they made that a criteria)
All hell broke loose among the women clan of our family.their reasons were that due to
1 tribal difference was too much the highest they could tolerate was a Fulani man apart from that no one else not even a Hausa man.(#tribalism)
2 how can she come back from London and marry someone who has never crossed our borders? they said he hasn't even gone for hajj(#materialism)
3 you earn more than him so you are going to be the bread winner
4 he is not so presentable at social events ...just imagine
poor zarah it took all the fight in her coupled with our male elders rational thinking for her to get married.
they( the women) were so busy looking for Mr right that they couldn't see how rare a man Umar was.he was hardworking, honest, morally upright and extremely religious.he has one of the Best character I have seen in few men....he is an awesome cook.
At the end she is happily married with two kids and they are still searching....

What an interesting story!I hope we can all learn from this to prevent re-occurrence in future.###Operation no to late marriage.

Hi Active members of this section!

Kindly recommend quality and interesting threads from this section that should hit the Front Page to help serve you better.

Thanks.

Why does it have to be Islamic section only, what happens to other sections from being moderated before reaching from page..

I don't think you have to worry about this since it's only muslims that know which and which are not worthy of hitting front page..

This idea is not welcome as it seems as if sinister motives was behind it....

Of all these means of generating electricity only the solar technology is efficient and reliable. Note: because of the high cost of procuring solar panels + inverter + batteries+others assesories, you can only use it as a backup. So one still need a stable means of electricity which only the government can provide. Such kind of power generation can only be achieved through building dams, nuclear power technology, gas power, or any other system using a replaceable source of energy which can easily be replenished. And these technology are beyond individual.
A kilowatt of electricity is costly to generate. What we pay to NEPA is subsidized. Individual power generation either through solar or any other technology is not the best solution to power problem. Bulk generation is the only workable solution just like mass production. It will be cheaper in the long run, and easy to maintain. A company generate electricity from solar farm (in kw) then distributes to individual.

I sent you a mail as regard further discussion on renewable energy... check it and get back to me....I intend to set up whatsapp group for it and fellow engineer s have been signing in to it....

If it is a java program, copy and paste the source code in the code view of a java third party software (like netbeans) and run the file. If it is a C++ program paste it to a C++ third party software.

If you can't program, look for a programmer around you

Thanks

blackfase:
No its not. Still on going at their offices in your local councils. Whether they wont complain of system breakdown or lack of generator fuel is another matter though.....
