Mind you, there are plenty of ideas out there, but development is the big big thing..even a very good developer offered 70% while u take 30% will still think twice.

Bruh, my little advice is, save yoir ideas, work hard n earn money then go start up a company and employ developers.

I know this might sound like a long speech but please read this to the end.

I have been a Nairaland memmer for few months and I have read quite a number of posts on business. However, I know and believe that their is a better and smarter way of making it to the top. Its called SHARING and only a few people have this understanding. Let me delve deeper.

I have read posts on fashion, telling people to do a bulk purchase and resell, people talk about bulk importation, share and go separate ways and the likes. The questions is; Why cant we run this race together? Why cant we have committed, honest and trustworthy people that are ready to do all it takes (In a legal and mature manner) to make money. After my simple analysis below, you will understand.

The power of Unity

1. I know there is a very good (and I mean very good) web programmer that does not know what he wants to do or where to invest his time or money.

2. There is a very good logistics executive (Like those in the clothing business as advertised in some posts) that does not know that he/she can make millions, rather than thousands in few years.

3. There is an individual that has so many cretive ideas but has little support (Thats me) and only settles for ideas while seeking individuals that can tap into his philosophy.

4. There is a very good PR/marketing executive that can do a good job of publicizing goods or services but is stuck in a 8-5pm job with little outlook about the future.

5. There are companies that want to make good products for us (China, Thailand & co) who are dying to do good an reasonable business with us but we cannot see these opportunities.

6. There is an investor somewhere that has or has stolen so much money but does nto have a clue of what to do with his money. He dies and the world bank and co takes all his/her money

7. There is a lawyer, who as just graduated but his not sure where he/she fits in.

8. There is an accountant that is trying to apply for a job but cannot reach the minimum requirements or is considered too old to be employed.

What is the bottom line, if 1-6 above pull there resources (both financial and non financial), they will all be multi millionaires in very few years.

Now let me give you a practiacl illustration.

Say to yourself, what can I sell to just 1 million people at a profit of N1,000 each (depending on how ambitious you are) and give yourself 10 years to chase this goal. Do you know the end result of my illustration? N1,000,000,000 (believe it or not). Have a chart and follow this faithfully, you will be shocked at the results.

Now let me use my main example (will write a couple of examples later)
Fictional but practical example.

1. All the skillset above come togther
2. We decide that the name of the clothing company be called Westside Clothing
3. Our legal person registers the business for us and does the legal framework
4. Our accountant is in charge of book keeping
5. Our marketing guru starts to make noise about our brand both online (facebook, twitter...) and offline (word of mouth)
6. Our logistic champion has contacted the manufacturer and works with out fashion critic or creative director to search for trends in the fashion world (The internet can freeonline mags can help. All we do is copy and paste but to conform with our environment)
7. Our web designer creates our unique website (loads of tacky websites around by the way) and app for our potential customers to buy.
8. Our ideas creator seeks ways of presenting the final products to the consumers (working with the logistics champion)

With and initial goal in mind of selling just 1 million items with a 10 year goal in mind, we all can quitely work away with N100M each (fact!).
I know there will be personalty clashes and the like but are there no personalty clashes at work, home....?
Some might ask, what is the size oof the market? We are 160million as at today and the population is growing and many are becoming more tech savvy. As far as I know, the current market size is about 10million and we need just 1million (not forgetting that some would be repeat customers based on our uniqueness)

That is the path I am working on now and I seek creative and talented individuals in this field to make this dream a reality. I will arrange for a meeting with these individuals and we take it from there.

It is better to try, than not to try at all
If we succeed we have a story, If we fail, we have a lesson, if we do nothing, we stop growing.
