Hello, I'm an enthusiast of upgrading mobile phones, I do it for a lot of people, but I've never been lucky enough to have a phone for myself that's easily upgradable. I used TECNO F7 for a while, and I was happy when Seun Payne started rolling out the custom roms, it was fun. Then I used one Chinko Android 4.1 tablet, I searched for a custom ROM for it for a whole year, nothing. Now I'm using this sweet phone LG F200K OPTIMUS VU2. Sadly, it runs on Android 4.1.2, I think it's Korean, I saw a guy that has his own upgraded to 5.0, he didn't tell me how, now I need help, I would love to upgrade my phone and I'd be eternally grateful to anyone who can point me in the right direction.
The phone has a 2Gb ram, a remote control, 8.0 mega pixel camera, a very beautiful screen and body size and over 16GB of internal memory. Though the battery life is nothing to write home about, but I love the phone so much and I would love to upgrade it. Thanks for your anticipated help.

I'm a guy, and I don't like talking when I'm upset. Its normal for some people. I'd suggest you stop disturbing him when he's upset. Just send him a text saying how sorry you are and leave it there. When he feels like talking, he'll come to you himself. At least, this is how I would react.

How naive and be clouded ur sense of reasoning are! You tried, albeit in an infantile fashion, to compare ur moribund Airtel to MTN that has remained so stable and has stood the test of time. Recall how many times Airtel had been sold over each time with a change of name and yet it's still struggling to survive? I don't and won't ever use Airtel sim for anything. For ur information, the worst MTN signal is better than the best Airtel signal and so it is all over the country. A yoruba adage will say "A nroju j'eko obun, obun tun nda eko e kere" meaning we are forcing ourselves to eat the pap made by a dirty woman, yet, she makes it expensive! If truly u are a CCA, then you are a bad one and a good example of how not to be a CCA. Pple like u will bring misfortune to the organisations u represent because u don't know how to appeal to the sensibilities of subscribers who indirectly put food on ur table. If Airtel is sold again, you are doomed!

Please help, I've overstepped my boundaries again. I tried to install the MeltingRocks 1. I did, but its telling me that no sims are inserted. When I tried to revert back to the CWM backup I did, that one was telling me MD5 mismatch. Please, what can I do, I'm tryna revert back to the stock rom, but I want to know if that is the only option. Thanks.

runzlord: i sha know all window7 system has it, once a system has the ability of networking with another system via wifi, u can use it wifi as hotspot! There are two ways to about it. The first one is manual and very long. The second is by downloading a program that lets u use ur system wifi as hotspot! Just google "programs that turns pc wifi to hotspot"

Just download 'Connectify' it's what I use to turn my laptop into a hotspot for my phantom. It's awesome.

I'VE never been out of this country tho. But if what I heard from a friend who lives in the UK is true, this analysis is rubbish. They pay as low as £5 for almost 10GB worth of data. That's like #1300 for 10Gb. But then again, what do I know?

Nah. Its my sister's sim. She's been using it in her BB before she decided to switch to MTN.

This is bad. Considering the fact that I just subscribed for a month BIS this morning. Why can't MTN just create a data plan for Android too. Even if its 2500 per month, I won't mind.
