Good for my People In OwO and Ondo state in general.....How can a fresh primary be conducted when the submission of candidates name to Inec elapsed this week and to make the matter worse The Ondo state chapter of the INEC have also said that they are not going to monitor any other primary to be conducted by APC....Kudos to Oyegun 4 bold step being taken in the right direction.....I know 4 sure it is going to be party round the whole OWO LGA today.....OTUN!!! OTUN!!! Ni#OWO AGBE WA OOO!!!

You can continue to make yourself happy unnecessarily. People are waiting for the report of the appeal committee. If they insist on that sham of a primary, a third force is being contemplated. The bigwigs in the party across the senatorial districts are on that already. You know the implication? The entire presidency can as well move all their machineries to Ondo state, as long as Akeredolu's name is on that list, APC should forget ondo state. You need to visit the hospital for proper checkup.....AKETI is more popular and marketable than any other candidates APC have in Ondo state.....Aketi popularity caught across the whole 18 LGA of the state.....before the Primary election,I was opportune to follow Aketi to 13 out of the 18 LGA We have here in Ondo state and I Know how he is being welcome by the delegates with a whole heart....Akoko North East LGA(IKARE) Was the only Area Aketi was attacked as far back in the month of June.....Abraham is not known in any part of the state Except in Ikare Akoko,Abraham only became popular the very day He was endorsed by BAT....Abraham would have come after Aketi,Oke,Boroffice,Alasoadura if not for Tinubu endorsement.....B4 the Primary election,we in the Aketi campaign organising committee were able to camp 1,200 delegates over night from various LGA of the state....It was 12 delegates from each ward across the state....here in Owo LGA,we have 11 wards multiply by 12=132,out of the 132 delegates from Owo LGA Aketi was only able to buy 119 to his side while some 5 bastards from Iyere ward 10 went in the way of boroffice and the remaining choose Ekungba and Dr.Ayorinde over Aketi......Out of the 1200 delegates we camped overnight he have 80% from Ose due to Adelegbe factor,52%From Akure south due to Abena factor,48% from Idanre,72% From Odigbo,60% from Idanre,80% from Ondo west,over 95% from Owo(his country home) and so on but 669 was what we were able to get from the 1200 delegates we camped overnight....I was in tears when I see some of my colleagues going for Olusola oke #150,000 and Abraham #100,000 to betray Aketi but we thank God that 669 was enough to make us smile,we lost okitipupa in the dying minutes to Abraham just because Dr.Paul betrayed Aketi in the dying minute.....it will be insane for anyone to say A man who defeated Tinubu's annointed candidates and othe 22 aspirants including 2 serving senators,house of rep members,Ex-national and state assembly members,ex-commissioners to emerge as the party flag bearer as not being popular......the election was hitched free,it was broadcasted live on NTA,TVC and some other tv stations,Adaba FM air it live out of the 3,000 delegates that are to vote only 2,700+ were accredited....after accreditation in the hall delegates we move straight to the second hall for their voting....the security agents on ground at that very day were even more than the total numbers of delegates.....Gov.Badaru really tried and the election was free and fair that people from kano can watch from their NTA station......Aketi is the next Governor come Nov.26....this is APC and not ACN Where an individual can just handpick a candidatae.....Aketi got the backing of the president,VP,sp,speaker house of rep,all APC govs and ministers this time around....to crown it all Mimiko and Pdp popularity in the state is nothing to write home about...go to the street and here what people are saying about mimiko and pdp nothing but all evil.....OTUN!!! I don't come to Ondo State once in a year, I live and worked there for 5 years. Ondo state is performing below the amount of resources they have. As at yesterday in Owo town, PDP members were seen having their ward meetings with the poster of Jegede. They couldn't shout aloud. All bike men, civil servants, artisans are ready to vote APC. Many indigenes from Ondo town and Idanre are also ready to vote PDP. Imagine the only good road constructed by Mimiko for 8 years in Ondo north is the Ansarudeen Grammar School - Iyere road in Owo. Other moribund projects are the so called markets unoccupied in most part of this senatorial area. So no bobo anyone for here! It is APC time to rule Ondo!!! Akeredolu!!! Otun! Otun ni o! Aketi!!! Otun!! Otun ni!

What you just said is nothing but the pure truth....I also live at Iyere Owo....When the PDP members were having their ward meeting yesterday here at Iyere ward 10 in OWO LGA.....out of the Hundred chairs they rented from Amusco rentals only 26 were occupied why the remaining 74 remain vacants......to be frank and sincere if not 4 PMB poor performances at the national level it would have been 18-0 in favour of APC here in Ondo state....anyway APC stil got the nod....OTUN!!! You're very correct. Mimiko will cause PDP to lose. My fear for Aketi is the present state of the country, they might use that against him but considering that civil servants want Mimiko out, Aketi is the best they can produce.

Often, many confuse primary with general election. If Aketi doesn't manage well the fallout of his victory, he will lose the general election.

1. I don't see Aketi winning Ondo Central which has the chunks of the votes. Mimiko is from Ondo town and will do everything possible to win the town with a reasonable margin. With Eyitayo being from Akure, Mimiko will also win the capital city. Even recently, Akeredolu gave an interesting interview where he claimed Akure people are minority in Akure. Can you imagine? He is not even planning to win the town. In a free and fair election, I don't see APC winning Ondo central with the two key towns firmly in the hands of PDP.

2. Aketi is from Ondo North which is where the Akokos are. Infact, had Boroffice (471) and Abraham(635) worked together, they would have defeated Aketi(669). Even though he won, Aketi doesn't look, to me, as being in control of APC machinery in Ondo North. He still needs Boroffice and Abraham to work with him. Now that's where it gets interesting because all the three: Aketi, Abraham and Borrofice are in a way allies of Tinubu. I have a feeling that apart from Buhari, the only person who can actually bring the three together to work in harmony is Tinubu. The margin of Aketi's victory is so small that the machinery of his government can actually be controlled by the so called losers. And that's the nature of politics. If they work together, APC will win Ondo North in a landslide. Otherwise, it's all over for Aketi.

3. All things being equal, Ondo South is where the election will be won or lost. Since both Boroffice who is already a senator and Abraham are from Ondo North, the same senatorial district as Aketi, I don't see them being running mates. And it will be a monumental strategic mistake to choose a running mate from Ondo Central. Would Tinubu tie his support of rallying Abraham and Boroffice for the candidate to choosing the running mate? And would the running mate be Akintelure or Olusola Oke, both politically toxic picks for Aketi? If he doesn't grant enough concessions, he stands the risk of losing the election. If he grants too much, he will win but government machinery will not be in his hands.

I think APC needs to rewrite its primary rules such that top three candidates should advance until a candidate wins 50% of the entire delegates.

If truly Abraham is Tinubu's preferred candidate I can't see Bola Ilori working for anyone else other than Tinubu's candidate.

Ilori is a committed footsoldier of Tinubu in ondo. One of the reasons Tinubu fought with Mimiko is because Ilori was given an adviser's post instead of promised commissioner's post. He was ordered to resign from Mimiko's admin and was seconded to Osun.

I am about to leave Akure for Owo now and with what I am seeing the race is now three horse race with Aketi and Olusola oke running neck to neck and Abraham coming third....Oke shared the highest money followed by Abraham then Aketi.....Owo delegates have voted and I am going back home....I'M optimistic that Aketi will emerge.

Even at that bro, it's not that oil followed the Ijaws down to ondo state when they sought refuge as you have averred. OIL is a natural endowment which can be situated anywhere, regardless of the inhabitants. So let's differentiate between the Ijaw incursion and what they met already on ground in ondo state. Natural/Mineral resources are not gifts, peculiar to a particular set of people but an opportunity secreted in a place by God himself and encouraged by geological/geophysical factors.

Ondo is not really Oil producing. Obasanjo annexed the Eastern Region soil of Ijaw and put it in Ondo to steal Eastern Region oil assets, thats all.

The Ayemafuge Ilaje are true sons and daughters of Oodua,and pls,can you tell me what part of the East Ilaje was annexed from to join Ondo state....Even though you lack common sense...Popular names like chief olusola oke,Barrister Ebiseni all from Ilaje should tell you that,the Ayemafuge Ilaje are true son Of Oodua.....The Basic truth is that ilaje house most of the ondo state oil....and for the ijaw you are talking about#They only have their place in minute(not up to 10,000) Ese odo LGA of the state....the ijaws came as a refuge to Ese odo Lga for a very long time even b4 independent....mehn!!! The Apc leadership in ondo state should bar all of the aspirants from spending on the day of the primary election,so that their will be a room for the most popular candidate to emerge......but this is Nigeria politics where delegates can die for money and bag of rice.....if the delegates are to vote base on money,that means Dr.Segun Abraham will surely carry the day because as it stands in Ondo state today...all the APC aspirants put together can not match Abraham in term of money and to make matter worse for other aspirants billionaire Tinubu is also backing a Business mogul Abraham...mehn!!! To be frank and sincere #300,000 to #500,000 for this Pmb time no be joke ooo!!! But no matter the money being shared my loyalty to AKETI is unshakable.....The people of Akoko and Dr.Abraham should leave this for Owo and Aketi for christ sake.

What called for this unnecessary celebration.....How many candidates engage him in the Markafi faction primary? Just one person....mitcheew!!! Jegede is celebrating just because he defeated saka Lawal who is mimiko's bom boy......The Truth is that no one contested the primary with him....Saka Lawal was just used as a cover up during the selection of candidate....Any way I am waiting for the sheriff faction primary where we have 4-5 candidates vying the slot and not jegede that only defeat a lone bribed aspirant.
