bestofnollywood: https://applesbite.com/dapo-abiodun-takes-on-tinubu-over-standard-of-road-constructed-in-ogun/ Dapo is the worst Governor in the country when it comes to Road Construction. No Local government presence at all....Roads accross Obafemi Owode LGA are in mess. whenever it rains, residents are always in a serious trouble getting back home. I hope the next Governor would be kind hearted to come with a plan that includes infrastructural development across the state. From Mowe Arigbawonwo road that goes all the way to papalanto , Ibafor , Orimerunmu , Loburo, Ifo, sango Ota, everywhere is a mess. Ogun has to learn alot from Lagos and Oyo states. |

Gotocourt: For y'all who celebrated France, Australia, UK for that circus statement, ntoor Hamas will be served hot hot, their mind go dey. Can't wait for BIBI speech 🔥📌💯
Those of you who want peace, should be united with one message, Release the hostages NOW. ---- President Donald Trump
HARD NUT TO CRACK On Gaza, he made two key points: • Recognition of a Palestinian state would be nothing but a prize for Hamas. • No partial deal is acceptable. All hostages—20 living and 38 dead—must be returned at once
I strongly feel that different HAMAS cell factions can't account for the hostages. Israel won't take less either . The war continues You don't know more than those world leaders who are now calling for the end of the war. they know Nathanyahu is not interested in hostage release ...if he does, why bombing everything in everywhere when he doesn't even know where the hostages are kept. Perhaps he has killed all the hostages already, who knows? he doesn't care! he killed over 70,000 Gazans already..including christians...Even bombed Bethlehem, where Jesus was born in west bank. The guy is so .......I dont know what to call him. |

Killers of children and innocent citizens. i will never glorify either of the parties in this war...And whoever does should really have their heads checked. How can you justify killing almost 70,000 people! absolute Genocide!...Also, Who in his right senses would go into peoples homes to kidnap them? pure terrorism. Verdict ; Both parties are wrong and should be condemned. |

Travel › Re: Lagos-Calabar Coastal Road: Contractor Begins Mobilization In Ondo by babayinka77(m): 8:19am On Sep 21, 2025 |
NkankaCEO: One political dimension to the Lagos-Calabar coastal Highway is that it will kill the political will and investors motivation to build or develop deep seaport projects in other regions of the country.
The arguments will always be that- if you can move your container by trucks from Tin can, Apapa or Lekki Deep Seaport to anywhere in the country in record time, why spend $2B to build another? This argument doesn't take into consideration the regional development that comes from functional Seaports.
I don't mean to sound tribalistic, but this same subtle economic suppression of other regions is why the Ibom Deep Seaport project has not seen the light of the day. That project is located in Ibaka in Mbo in Akwa Ibom where the natural drought does not need the continous dredging that is required in Lagos Seaports. In 80% of Federal Government's mega economic projects and decisions favours Lagos, I hope indigenous Westerners won't ask why people are leaving other regions to Lagos.
Imagine how relieved Lagos will be if the Ibaka- Onitsha economic corridor is active. And before you blame the State Government, remember that outside investors fundings, 70% of approvals and licensing for Seaports projects come from the Federal Government.
For the Highway project itself, I commend Mr President and the commitment of the Minister of Works, Mr Umahi from Ebonyi.
***** Meanwhile this post is for Realtors: https://www.nairaland.com/8523476/cadfund-what-nigerian-investors-should My advise to the Federal Government is to start planning for an improved security on that road during and after completion. Please take seriously the issue of the security regarding Kidnappings and terrorisms in that axis. |

Barrywilly: I don't understand why people build super structures like this in the village when a simple 3 or 4 bedroom flat would have been enough, and easily be let out thereafter. Look at how this mansion has turned to a relic and eyesore, wasting away. Who is going to live inside? This structure is going to be desolate forever because it is too massive to be renovated and occupied by a single individual. Infact, it can comfortably house all the entire population of Ezinifite . *modified* This could have been a great boost for tourism if we lived in a country where heroes are truly celebrated. The state government, in collaboration with the family, could renovate the site and develop it into a tourist attraction. |

I dont know why some people just carelessly place tribal and religious coloration to every issue in this country. instead of identifying the issue and finding a solution collectively. We would be apportioning blame to divert attention. |

TimeManager: With current increase in FAAC allocations through subsidy removal, that's going to be a windfall to the states.
I disagree with that part, any Governor that cannot deliver atleast 85% in his state, must be whisked away in EFCC's waiting van immediately after handing over.
-Kiss the truth! I genuinely feel for the people of Ogun State in all of this. Despite the substantial revenue and allocations the state receives, the level of development remains disappointingly low. Most inner roads are in terrible condition, and there seems to be little to no attention given to areas outside the capital. It’s a troubling situation. Take a trip to places like Mowe, Ifo, Ibafo, Arigbawonwo, Ofada, and Erimerunmu — there’s hardly any visible impact from either the state or local governments. In fact, the presence of local governance is practically nonexistent. Living in Ogun State really puts into perspective the kind of development Lagos State has achieved. One can only hope that the next administration in Ogun will adopt a governance model similar to Lagos, with a long-term development plan that successive governments can follow and build upon |

Health › Re: My Wife's Serious Fertility Issue Is Affecting My Mental Health by babayinka77(m): 12:31pm On Aug 13, 2025 |
KobeMan: We married A Year ago. We decided to wait for a year before having kids. We started trying 3 few months but no success. I told both of us needs to get tested. I did Sperm Analysis & the result is good, I'm very fertile.
She did pelvic scan, and in the scan, She has fibroid (Submocousal fibroid 5.5cm). The news broke me and I was very sad, I never imagined I'll be in this kind of situation. We went to the gynecologist and He told us to go for HSG to check her fallopian tube, The result showed that Both Tubes are blocked.
I've not been myself for the last couple of days. I had to pretend to be strong because She was down & has been crying as well. This are two serious fertility issues and Her chances of conception is very low. Even if The gynecologist tells us to do the IVF(Which I don't even have money for it cause it's vey expensive) They'll still have to remove the fibroid.
This are very expensive procedures that are not even guaranteed that it will work and She will conceive. I'm the only male child in my family, in my early 30's. Pressure will start coming from all directions and also considering my my age, I don't pray to experience delay with child birth. I just decided to pour own my mind here. I'm really down, I don't know what to do. My wife had similar experience and now she is on family planning after enough Kids. My sincere advise for you is to go the medical way. Let the doctors help you open-up the fallopian tubes. Do not go herbal! I repeat, do not go anything herbal for now untill maybe shes confirmed pregnant. I wasted alot of money going herbal and had to still come back and do it Medically...after wasting time and money. I give you 3 months after unblocking the tubes..she'll definitely conceive and you will be a happy man again. God will bless your union..stay positive. |

MummyWealth14: Ogun government should do something about it, dis is raining season o
Meanwhile, First to comment 🤗 Ogun state deserves a visionary leader that would create a development plan for the state like that of Lagos (By Tinubu). Unlike Lagos state, Ogun is lacking in all major aspects of governance such as roads, electricity etc. No one can tell me when last the government constructed a road in outskirts apart from Abeokuta and the governor's senatorial district. The Second lane of Mowe -Ofada road is left untouched since Governor Ibikunle Amosun's time. He laid te foundations, did the drainages and paved one lane, since then the road that is supposed to be a dual carriage has been operating as one lane, limiting the developmental opportunities of the area. that road serves as alternative to the Lagos -Ibadan express whenever there's traffic. A focused and performing governor would have gone ahead to complete the road. Same goes for Arigbawonwo Loburo road. Never paved ,just dusty....and that is the situation for all inner roads and streets in the state. |
