Buhari is yet to visit the family of Awolowo, instead he sent his wife after a month. Considering the VP's wife is grand daughter to HID, the least the dullard should have done was to send his wife after a few days, no, he waited nearly a month.
Is the emir of Borgu more iconic than HID?

SHhhhh!!!!! Don't tell anybody they've been used and dumped.
Is it constitutionally mandatory for him to visit the Awolo's? You people are still playing the tribal cards that got you loose the last elections. Okay continue!

When you and your BBOG group were kicking GEJ out of aso rock, you never thought that the economy will ever take a nosedive or mouthdive.
What should be of prime importance to her should be the safe rescue of the chibok girls and not the issue of the ecomomy, PMB will take care of that.

She was simply saying GEJ finished our economy and caused it to nosedive while PMB is our hope to fix it as he did when he was a military president.

jerusalem isn't meant for politicians!

And why is jerusalem not meant for politicians? Jerusalem belong to Jews, Muslims and Christians , so it's free for all the 3 religions in Israel namely judaism, Christianity and islam. Politicians are everywhere in jerusalem both from Palestinians and Israelis etc. Politicians are the same all over the world. So whether you like it or not, politicians would visit Mecca and jerusalem.

PDP will have to do more than this if they want to be taken seriously by Nigerians. As an opposition party, they need to learn the way APC did for those days they were in opposition. Instead of resulting to the abuse of the personality of the president of the country (PMB) they should rather look for ways to fight there battles in court like ACN did that gave them back their victories in some past elections. Nigerians are watching all the antics of PDP and the outburst against the government's fight on corruption. One could easily draw the conclusion that ever considering to vote for PDP again in Nigeria is a panacea to taking the country back to those dark days of impunity and broad day robbery by the govt officials. Nigerians are still hopeful in PMB's govt and believe something far better would be achieved. PDP should not heat up the polity and rather go to court to fight their cases as the case as always being or perhaps they have realised that they'll loose again that's why they are ranting.

Politics / Re: Tribunal Cancels The Election Of Nyesome Wike, INEC To Conduct Fresh Election by babayinka77(m): 1:47pm On Oct 24, 2015
agabusta:
That Akwa Ibom submission is at variance with the submission of the River state court of Appeal.

#AkwaIbom: The card reader was not contemplated by section 49 of the Act on accreditation.
#AkwaIbom: That INEC press release cannot override section 41 of the Electoral Act on accreditation.

#AkwaIbom: but the silly Akwa Ibom tribunal failed to realise that it is the same Electoral Act that gives INEC the authority to conduct a free and fair election. Even though the Electoral Act did not expressly permit the use of Card readers/bar the use of card readers, it has given INEC the mandate to conduct the election and INEC can do so within the ambits of the law!

#AkwaIbom: That Akwa Ibom Election tribunal must be revisited and the records set straight.

If APC appropriately appeals that Akwa Ibom judgement, they should be able to get a full re-run in all the Local Governments. This does not mean APC stands a chance at all in the election, but things most be done properly!

Those two elections (Akwa Ibom and Rivers) were a total sham and an embarrasment to democratic process.

What marvels me is that why rig an election that you most likely will win??

This is a victory for democracy. The age and time of senseless rigging is over! If you dont win clearly, then you stand a chance to rerun.

In the future sef, there should be a law barring those that engages in manipulations from contesting reruns.
This is exactly what I was telling my friend that if tribunal grants full rerun of elections in rivers, then APC should challenge the ruling on Akwa ibom and get full rerun also.

She has no choice, she is a Muslim and that is their culture, she knew it before she got married to the man so being against it after the marriage is foolishness, though some still try to be against their husbands taking another wife. The husband can still take some more wives.
I remember one of my boss, a Muslim got married to a Christian woman, the woman doesn't have rest of mind because she was so afraid that the husband will pick another wife. The woman was living in fear, it was as bad as that and everyone around notice it, maybe she did all this because the husband was very rich.
If it's a Christian woman that said this, then I will tell the husband to be very careful because hmm mm I cannot fit talk wetin go dey the woman mind oooh.
You must have better understanding of what marriage is in islam before marrying a Muslim. Your husband could have up to 4 wives but it's not a must. There are some xstians too who marry more than one wives. My point is, it doesn't matter whether Muslim or xstian, it's either the husband marry other wives or have girlfriends which could be more dangerous for even the wife. The prayer point should be that God should grant us good husbands and wives.

It doesn't matter what your doubts are, she simply asked for your prayers and if you can't pray for her, then forget it. People are different but you must respect a woman who has decided to stay with her husband come rain and shine. She has made up her mind not to divorce nor cause problems for the society by not abandoning her children who could end up not being well cared for....besides we must respect her faith too, she's a Muslim and Islam allows polygamy. Better than having one wife and 100 girl friends....

The message would have to be channeled through some recognized body who are going to vet it and release it to the public.

2. There is no crime in making religion study compulsory at primary and secondary level of education. By having knowledge of dos and donts of my Neighbour religion would ensure harmony, peaceful coexistence and mutual respect.

3. Yes. Free range method of rearing is the course of communal clashes between the cattle farmers and their host community.

One of the saints seem to have fallen from heaven before their great task of 'chanji' began.

So PMB, took six months to give us an ex-convict as a Ministerial nominee? By the time we unearth the past of many of his nominees, PMB would discover that politics only take casualties cos all are sinners. We need good policies that will bring prosperity and checkmate corruption, not saints in
government.

This country is dying slowly, yet some people are still shouting 'sai baba!'.

If the country is dying to you, then it's because of negative minded people whose short sighted nature won't let them see anything good in PMB's achievements. Rather their focus would be on the economy which we all knew since the days of GEJ had been in comatose. However, PMB'll do his best for this country. let's pray for baba to succeed and let d devil be ashamed!

My question is why are we just knowing all these things now? definitely the previous Govts never bothered about what was going on in the creeks. some of the so called oil spillages were also caused by our people through such illegal refineries leading to an untold hardship on Niger delta communities. Thank God we now have a government that is ready to work.

Islam for Muslims / Re: 10 Hadiths About Hajj by babayinka77(m): 3:26pm On Sep 04, 2015

So JIHAD is to really fight a war?

Jihad is to sacrifice to the course of Allah (S.W.T) This could be by spending your money, time and/ or energy.

Fighting wars for Allah's course was also part of it but not applicable to our generation. that was done during the early days of Islam when
Muslims were been persecuted and Allah commanded them to fight back. THERE IS NO JIHAD BY SWORD again. Those killing and fighting today are doing so for other reasons....but no Muslim would kill and say its for Allah when there's no war against Islam. Allah knows best and I pray he should always guide our paths.

“As soon as the CCB is through with the process, the documents will be released to the Nigerian public and people can see for themselves,” Mr Shehu said." http://www.channelstv.com/2015/09/03/buhari-osinbajo-declare-assets/

Again, the documents will be released to the public for analysis once the CCB is done with verification. President Buhari has announced his asset declaration as promised, he was not required to but did so out of his integrity. Very unlike GEJ who responded with 'I don't give a damn!" when asked to declare his assets. http://ynaija.com/i-dont-give-a-damn-gej-comes-out-guns-blazing-in-media-chat/

Mind you, Late Pres. Yar'adua also made his announcement through his Special Adviser (Communications), Mr. Segun Adeniyi.

It will do you people a greater good to support this administration to deliver the true dividends of a responsible government, instead of grasping at straws to cast aspersions on the President and his team in continuous futility.
