Romance / Re: This is the type of woman every man loves to marry. by babie78: 6:05am On Sep 30, 2016
When people use Sarah as an example of a submissive wife I am always amused

If you read your Bible well you will see Sarah actually ruled Abraham forget all that calling him my lord. She insisted he sleeps with his maid and she had the audacity to ask him to send his first born away and he obeyed with alacrity without asking questions.

Abeg that woman was a boss

There is something about this post that does not ring true. If the lady learnt hair dressing then she is not a serious person I am sorry to say.
I understand she is in her final year but she cannot tell me she attends lectures 24/7

Students that plait her in school are usually amongst the most buoyant. Then don't need to pay for a shop as they would usually just move from room to room

I have a young lady who does my braids and trust me she is occupied almost 24/7 as you have to call days ahead to book her service .

You have been going through this hardship for 2 years and you are still whining instead of using the craft you learnt to liberate yourself.

I think she is indirectly begging for money that's if it's a she oh and before anyone sends her money please verify

Being a customer does not give you a right to be rude and obnoxious. A lot of customers in Nigeria are uncouth and the annoying thing is when this same people travel or go to companies with foreign staff they are always polite and well behaved.
It's in Nigeria a customer will throw pure water at a staff, slap a staff, call you a LovePeddler because you refuse to allow them jump the queue and then turn round and shout customer is key.

The man did not even clap back if Na me Don retire and he vomits that shit he would have gotten worse

Crime / Re: Family Pics & Corpse Of Ronke Shonde Who Was Allegedly Killed By Her Husband by babie78: 8:06am On May 07, 2016
I had to log in to respond. Ronke Bewaji was a beautiful woman in and out. She was a staff of Gtbank before leaving for stanbic and yes she was a victim of domestic violence and like most women she chose to remain in a bad marriage and now she is no more. It had nothing to do with money. She had her own. It's just sad and pathetic

Just to add i did not kill his dream but i do not believe in folding your hands and dreaming and not having something to do at the moment.

With my support he has gone on to follow his dream and his day job actually served as a vehicle to him fufilling his dream

if a man at 40 is still waiting and dreaming pf prospect without having anything tangible doing all i can say is any woman who marries such a man has my symphaties .

The irony is these days men also do not want liability wives and most men often go for ladies who can actually bring home something finanacial . If men have become so analytical in their choice of partners i wonder why we still make women look bad when they aspire for some level of comfort

As i said earlier i put in a lot of sacrifice and hard work to better myself so no way would i have settled for a man who did not have his acts together .

Also working a 9-5 job actually provides some leverage when people decide to go out on there own . You would have learnt discipline , made some useful contacts and also learnt how to deal with people .

I always recommend people have even if its 1 year of formal employment before they start out on their own as this often determines if a business will fail or succeed

OP your post is way off . I said NO to all but no 3 and i am happily married .

I spent years working hard and making something out of life for myself so why should i settle for a struggling man in a one bedroom apartment when as a single girl i was controlling 3 bedroom apartment.

Lets stop promoting this nonsense stereotypes that a girl has to drop all standards just to get married .

I dated a lot of mr prospects and trust me its not easy being with that category of men because a lot of them have enormous chips on their shoulder and just want to leech on you .

When i met my husband he was in between jobs and i made it clear to him that i would not date him until he got a job and till date he said that fact alone was one of the things he found appealing

mind you i was 35 at this time but i was not swayed by all the talk similar to what OP posted and i have no regrets for my decision at all .

BabaAlabi stop displaying your stupidity on this thread Abeg . He was holding a knife and perhaps let his guards down and she saw a chance and used it .

You clearly have very limited knowledge and are so closed minded that you don't know people have escaped from even more dangerous situations . Abeg go and pay for full subscription on DSTV so you watch stations like C&I and see how people have escaped even more dangerous situations.

Babyosisi always generalising and foaming from the mouth once it has to do with Nigerians forgetting that she herself was once a village mgbeke.

I say thank you even to my maid at home and everyone in my house does that. Its not a Nigerian thing it's simple a matter of upbringing
