femtoj2: 1. “My names are.” I was told that several senators (or is it ministerial nominees; forgive me because I didn’t watch the whole live or recorded broadcast) introduced themselves by saying “my names are….” Well, as I have written in several articles, that’s illiterate English. The conventional expression is “my name is” irrespective of the number of names of you have. 1. “My names are.” I was told that several senators (or is it ministerial nominees; forgive me because I didn’t watch the whole live or recorded broadcast) introduced themselves by saying “my names are….” Well, as I have written in several articles, that’s illiterate English.
Is this a typo error? kindly educate me. You obviously can see it. Why pick on something irrelevant? |

Good one from the op, at least I've learnt something. Its just that the correct expressions you've given would not sound correct when you say them
Its just better to avoid them. |

stilljigga: my brother believe it or not we only have commercial churches in Nigeria. u made no points in all your grammar. how can a church waste it's members money to help d country? how can a church build schools where majority of its members cannot pay the school fees ? is a church not suppose to be helping it's members before helping d country. if Jesus Christ has a church will he do like Pastor Adeboye and Oyedepo opening Universities where majority of his members cannot afford? why did Jesus feed thousands with 5 loaves of bread n 2 fishes ? Stop deceiving yourself all these pastors are commercial pastors. how can a church be spending at least N121 million annually to maintain a private jet. what type of gospel are they preaching www.nairaland.com/2672478/augustine-university-first-catholic-university/1#39091388Read and see one of the missionaries you were talking about |

Lol both th guy and babe sef na learner.
The guy could just have instigated the babe to dey lie for her papa and collect money for his father instead of feigning abduction. The babe don love up, she can easily do anything for him.
Abduction no be wasa at all
At the end, I'm sure the father will want to kill the case instead of going farther cos its further disgrace to his name
Weak point of babes- They can form rambo o, but na them dey easily love up |

Lmao... I'm enjoying this
2 sides to the story now;
1.Its either what was posted yesterday was false, so they needed to debunk it by creating accounts so they can rally round to dismiss it or;
2.Or it was true and actually happened, maybe the dept saw it as a dent to their image, so students were probably pressured/threatened to create accounts to debunk the earlier report
But I'm tilting towards the second side. But anyways, whatever happened, you guys are back safely, there shouldn't have been much fuss about it cos its all part of excursions |
