Hi babyann, congrats on your successful application . On your second try, what communication evidence did you include please?etisalat is being useless with providing Nigerian call logs and the Tesco calling card we use isn't being helpful either .i use a 16 gig iPhone so I haven't got a lot of whatsapp chat backed up .

Sorry I'm ranting. Just stressed.Waiting on your reply .
Hi dear....I understand how stressed u must be,in my second application, I couldn't get call log from any network provider in nigeria so I included 50 pages of viber call history (2015-Jan 2017) my hubby was able to get his call log from uk (three and lyca) just 4 months each...so I guess the 100+ pictures I included covered up for it all
I also included a few month of whatsapp chat, bbm, Facebook screenshot, flight tickets and passport stamps
All the best...

please, how many pictures did u submit in the first application and how many in the second application. I have about 20 pictures of me and hubby. I don't know if I should wait and gather more pictures before applying.

I submitted about 40pics but they were only wedding pics, with the second application I submitted over 100pics from the start of our relationship.

Does anyone who has had the unfortunate fate of getting a refusal know how long it takes to receive the ihs refund?
I guess u should call them instead of email but even when u do call they will tell u it's an automatic refund and can can take up to 90 days......got a refusal earlier and that was what they told my hubby.....

Hi guys the better half of Darcy16 arrived in the cold United Kingdom on Sunday evening. Been great and surreal having my wife around.

Congratulations to those that have been successful recently. I have been coming online and reading the chat but could not reply. I saw the couple that got called early by TLS, I had a feeling straight away that it was a rejection. Please reapply using priority and fully load your application. Put even more photos and more call logs. One can never put too much information. Yes if you appeal it will get overturned but the wait is hard. I always said that if we get a rejection I would reapply using priority.
Thanks @darcy16 I missed out on that communication evidence because I felt since I was in uk for a few months prior to the application date was ok...it was after I did my biometric that I came across nairaland..it's only a setback as one Nairalander said..will be reapplying next week with lots of communication evidence and more pictures and of cos priority this time...can't deal with the long wait over again.....

Babyann2016, I will say definitely put all call logs, screenshots of video calls, emails , everything. My husband and I have two children and have been together in the uk and Lagos for more time than we have been apart but we put every scrap of everything we have ever sent to each other. I have not got a response yet but I can say from other people's successes that it is important you do oversabi. Sorry for this setback but it is just a setback. I pray you will get good news soon! All the best.
Ok tanks so much...will be starting a fresh application next week and by Gods grace will get it rit this time

I believe I have seen few people on this forum used priority after been refused. So I guess you should, so you can get a quick result. I know the waiting is not an Easy thing.

Appeal is a longer route (time consideration). But my gamble is, they might decide against the appeal and grant visa.
My perception is your write in the special notes, you overlooked the calls log(an oversight on your psrt), as you saw hubby not too long ago. You have loads of calls logs.
Apologies for such oversight, that might touch their heartstrings.........

Sorry about your decision. Assumption they say is the mother of.....................
We say it on the thread all the time, send all(everything and more) relevant documents, and hit them with a package that would overwhelm them.
A possibility that if you appeal, they might not go through with the appeal, ask you to withdraw appeal and issue the visa (my opinion).......
Do you have all the missing link?
Yes they asked for photos before wedding, phone logs and chat
Pls do u have idea how long appeal takes??

Hello guys...so I went to pick up my passport today and it was a REFUSAL....and the reason the eco gave was relationship requirement that I only submitted wedding pictures and no call logs....I assumed that since I was in uk 4months prior to my application it wasn't necessary
Am reapplying again next week so please house I need all the advice I can get and also do U think I should go with priority after the refusal?
Please I need ur advice.....thanks

Its not really something to panic about as many people receive such email and still have a successful outcome.

They are still running a check on information you submitted or have too much workload that they are running behind as regard to target

Its still 9th week and not 12th so you still have few weeks before getting worried.
Ok tanks justwise but another Email was sent saying they can't find appendix 2 of my application and I did submit it at tls ikeja now they can't find it
I will further it to the email they provided
Tanks anyway

Another email was sent to me that they couldn't locate the appendix 2....meanwhile I did submit it along with the others
Please what is the correct name of the appendix Dix 2............

There is no cause for alarm
I applied 9weeks ago and recently that is what they keep telling me if I use the email enquiry form
Am sure they simply mean there is no current update since the previous update.....keep calm everything will be over soon

@babyann2016 no i did not submit any as well for the same reason,i was with him 5months prior to the application and also evidence of trip is in my passport and he also sent me the invite for the visit visa as well and there are pictures we took together during my trip attached as well.i actually asked for a lawyer's opinion and he said there was no need to.i think our story is kind of similar lol.by Gids grace we would get the visa amen
Yes very similar lol....By God's grace it will end in praise....was yours priority? Mine wasn't and it's approaching the 8th week now...the wait is killing,I could have just done priority then but a frd of mine who got hers earlier on said it only took 6weeks and she used ikeja centre....if I had known on time.......

Thanks babyann2016 i think it should be too because what they need is consent from landlord and its in the agreement anyways.may God help us.did you submit any communication record btw you and youd husband since you guys have been together anyways?
@tadelov Nooo I didn't,because I have been with him for the past 4months prior to the application, I Was granted the family visit visa with his invite and our marriage cert and the evidence of my trip is in my passport, my hubby said we didn't need it as there is enof evidence that our marriage is genuine....did u submit any?

thank you,i tracked my application yesterday and saw that a decision has been made already so nothing to be done again now than hope on God,none of us was called for interview.waiting to receive the decision made email now.i also believe the tenancy agreement should be enough since its a 3 bedroom house and just my husband living in it now and landlord already left room for partner by putting down 2people as number of occupants plus i have been with him in the UK for the past 5months in the same accomodation with my visit visa because we traveled together after our wedding to spend time together which i put in the application form and evidence of the trip on my passport as well.i am hopeful that God is in control!
The tenancy agreement should be enough...
I was also in the uk with my hubby for 4months before coming down to nigeria to apply and we only included hubby's tenancy agreement too(though I didn't know on time) mine is approaching the 8th week now and noting yet (not-priority)
God is in control.....we will all have a successful outcome in JESUS name......

Thanks @Abbylove

I already sent my original documents like my UK masters degree, birth certificate, pictures and wedding certificate to my wife in the UK.

Is my wife not suppose to send them to sheffield?

I thought I would only submit my passport, application forms and TB certificate at the tls office in Nigeria. I intend to apply apply in January and I need to be sure of the documents I need to have with me and the documents my wife should have?

Please I need more info on this? Anybody that just applied can advise according. Thanks

Yes....it is only your tb cert, application form, appendix 2 and passport you are to submit at the tls office, every other document is to be sent to Sheffield
I submitted mine 18th of November and that was what they collected from me only.......cheers
