"Thus does Allah make clear to you His verses that you might use reason."
(QS. Al-Baqara 2: Verse 242)

Allah is telling all Muslims here that the verses in the Quran are clear enough and that you should use your reason. Please do.

Allah says

إِنَّ شَرَّ الدَّوَآبِّ عِنْدَ اللَّهِ الصُّمُّ الْبُكْمُ الَّذِينَ لَا يَعْقِلُونَ
"Indeed, the worst of living creatures in the sight of Allah are the deaf and dumb who do not use reason."
(QS. Al-Anfaal 8: Verse 22)

Little is what you know about religion. Christianity doesn't exist before Jesus Christ , when he was alive.. Nothing like Christian. It was after he left Christianity was formed by some group of people. Moses, Abraham, Isaac , Jacob, Noah, none of these prophets were Christian and they worshiped the God of Abraham like we Muslim do.. In other words. They are Muslims too.

After that, the angel conveyed the intended first revelation: “Read in the name of your Lord Who created; created man from a clinging substance. Read, and your Lord is the most Generous Who taught by the pen; taught man that which he knew not” (al-‘Alaq, 1-5).

Here, Allah said fighting is not only recommended for Muslims, it is also good for them.

Can the OP tell me:

(a) How Islam which expressly permits fighting and making it to look good is a religion of peace?

(b) How is fighting good for humanity as said by the Quran?

The command in this verse is that Muslims should fight only those disbelievers who come to fight against them. It was revealed during the time of prophet. It doesn't apply during our own time.
