Religion / Lagos Varsity Christian Alumni Fellowship Holds Extraordinary Annual General Mem by babyglagbaja: 1:23pm On Jan 22, 2021
Lagos Varsity Christian Alumni Fellowship (LVCAF) will hold an Extraordinary Annual General Membership Meeting on Saturday 23rd January 2021 at 5:00pm WAT (11:00am US ET, 4:00pm BST). The purpose of the meeting is two-pronged; first is to seek members’ approval for the appointment of an auditor and secondly, the election of a female member to its Board of Trustees (BOT). These actions are been taken in accordance with the Fellowship's Constitution and in compliance with the Corporate Affairs Commission (CAC) requirements.

The meeting which will be held virtually via Zoom is expected to enable the Fellowship to comply with CAC requirements for audited financial reporting on an annual basis and fill the vacancy in the BOT. The Lagos Varsity Christian Alumni Fellowship is a not-for-profit association that was established in the mid-70s and comprises individuals who attended the Lagos Varsity Christian Union during their academic sojourn at the University of Lagos, Akoka. The Alumni Fellowship has over 1000 members who are domiciled across Africa, Asia, Australia, Europe and the Americas.

It will be recalled that on Saturday 17th October 2020, the Fellowship conducted an AGMM that saw the emergence of a new Executive Committee (Exco) that will run its affairs for the next two years. Brother John Oluleye, an experienced Engineer, who served as the immediate past General secretary was elected as President. He was elected to the Exco alongside Sister Buchi Utah, Vice President; Brother Lanre Ajanaku, Vice President (Diaspora); Brother Kunle Ajijola, General Secretary; Sister Sharon Aderonke Adepoju, Assistant General Secretary; Sister Bidemi Adelaja, Welfare Secretary; Brother Gbenga Osofisan, Financial Secretary; Gregory Arheghan, Project Secretary; Sister Tochi Nwosu, Treasurer; Brother Akinwunmi Akowonjo, Liaison Secretary and Brother Bemigho Awala elected as the Publicity Secretary.

Say Na Scam. This is the definition of scam - a dishonest or illegal plan or activity, esp. one for making money. The fact that you spend more on a car than how much you bought it is a function of many things. Before you buy the car they allow you to bring a mechanic to check as well..so no be say dem tie your eye and hand, collect your money and no give you car. That would be a scam.:quote author=jacobjamie post=92161510]Lesson learnt :: make una Avoid Cars from Cars45 oh, lol or shine ur eyes, 95% of people who has bought cars from them that I know, last last them dey complain so na Scam, u go later spend pass waiting u buy the car for at the long Run, correct me if I might be wrong with ur....... If you are buying from Cars45, you are most likely buying on thier marketplace. Marketplace cars are owned by third party individuals who want to sell thier cars. These cars have been inspected by Cars45 and vetted to ensure that it isn't a stolen car. So If you want to buy this marketplace car, you will also need to go with a trusted mechanic or auto expert that you trust to make assurances doubly sure. Cars45 inspection report is solid and ensures that you are not buying in the dark. So follow your gut.
