Ibinwanne:
Where is the location? I will advice you to still pump and observe the borehole water for at least one more week, in the event that the result remains the same, you will therefore install a water treatment plant to purify the water. Thanks in anticipation of hearing from you.

Ok, thanks. I'll wait and see. Location is in Surulere

Ibinwanne, I just had a borehole dug like 4 days ago. Now when we pump water from it, the water is clear and clean but then over time it turns brown. Is this normal and is it something that can be rectified?

Laundry n dry cleaning is awesome, I'm actually speaking from the authority of experience, I was and still a benefactor, uber, taxify or any e-hauling is OK, keke hire purchase is okay, then betting shop, I was once in your shoe and I came to realise proper money utility/usage especially investment wise is also a problem, tho lesser than not having a dime.

Those above listed stuffs where n still my saving grace, if not for them, only God knows where person for dey especially during this crypto depressing downtime.

Cheers n success in your quest.

Brotherly. Good to hear from somebody wey dey also feel what I'm going through. As crypto don dey fall our hand, we gats diversify. I'm seriously considering the laundry biz for a start. I had some preliminary discussions with the laundry man on my street, and he is willing to do a partnership. At least I will be able to leverage on his experience and his established customer base, instead of starting from scratch. We will see how it goes.

Good day , I'm looking forward to starting up a laundry and dry cleaning service before the year runs out , most likely in the month of October and don't mind partnering with you if you're interested. I'm based in Lagos and I've done all necessary feasibility studies and have a 2year working experience , the capital for the startup is far lesser than the amount stipulated in your post , and this will enable you to have your eggs in more than one basket as the case may be ... lemme know if you're interested so we can futher the discussion with facts and figures .Thanks

I have been researching this for a while now. Im currently running a feasibility study on it. Too many people seem to think that it is a good idea, so naturally, I'm skeptical. I'm looking for the catch. lol. Give me your contact, lets discuss on this.

let me give you an honest advise.read carefully!!
U can take that money, fix it in a bank, use the interest from it to do market research and the time to make up your mind.
No real businessman will ever tell you how they make their money man.that is something you have to find out yourself.
Forget partnership for now since u don't have any specialty in any kind of business yet, else be ready to be cheated/duped.
Keep searching,goodluck.

You have not said anything wrong here. Anybody who is entering into a business has to do so with open eyes. There are many risks that have to be managed. You have mentioned a few of the risks (being cheated/duped). My mind dey there. I will not blindly rush into anything I am not comfortable with. Particularly the ones that promise the world for a tiny investment.

In terms of putting the money in bank and doing market research, that is the phase I am entering. I have invested in a number of passive income generating investments - mostly money market, while I plan the next step.

My brother, entreprenurship is not an easy ride. It requires hardwork, patience and dedication. Most prospective entreprenuers don't take time to do their homework before starting any business amd they don't seek timely training and knowledge required. That's why they fail.

See 10 THINGS EVERY ENTREPRENEUR MUST ADDRESS TO SUCCEED IN BUSINESS.

Agreed. That's why I am a bit sceptical. I'm also trying to do some homework on my side. If not I might as well just waste the money

Hi bro.

I'm also an 8 to 5 guy though I'm a hustler on many fronts.

Got a major idea that I'm currently researching more into.

It's importation of used electronics and other home appliances.

Got a good business plan too... but I'm currently in the research stage.

What do you think of it? The way I've got it figured out, it's something that can grow big with careful planning and execution.

This might make a lot of sense. Please let me know once you are done with your research

Check out these profitable businesses.

Thank me later.

I've come across this before. A number of interesting high level ideas. My problem with things like this is that they present you with a nice story, but the numbers dont always check out.

For what I can vouch for, get a supply contract, get the products, deliver and get paid.
For solid minerals, get manganese or mica contract supply ex lagos warehouse, get products from North central, get it to Lag and you are paid after testing.
These products are low risk, high returns (up to 35-55%) , cycle can be weekly or 2 weeks. This can be done with less than a million, and the percentage of these ore are pretty stable. Its a better way to grow cash. Charcoal ex Lagos is cool too.
If you can secure supply for groundnut, soyabeans, maize, potato, ginger... it will be a great idea, just they are seasonal. Monitor the process, start small and you can attract more cash to expand once you can be trusted.

Thanks for this. Some good ideas in here. I know somebody who is into the supply of ores and he is doing good. I'll do some research on this. Thanks

Let's discuss on WhatsApp or phone on 08067502337. I currently have on-going businesses, that require some more financial investments. One of my companies is 4 sides laser services, one of the few laser companies in Nigeria (Instagram: 4.sideslaser).

Thanks. I'll take a look

Invest on an online TV of your own, I will design and run it for you, if you are interested contact me on 0..8....0....6 . 0..2..1..2..0...1..7

Interesting idea. Setting up the platform will not be the issue, but content acquisition. Also, given that streaming is a data hungry process, how many Nigerians are willing or able to sacrifice the required amount of data? And finally, the elephant in the room: Netflix.

Nice idea, but I think it will take waaay more than 5m to do this

Im looking for business ideas requiring start up capital of 5m or less. I made some lucky investments in cryptocurrency, but I think my luck is beginning to run out. I have an 8 to 5 that takes up most of my time, but I need to start doing my own thing, so I'm looking for ideas. I also will not mind partnering with anybody who is bringing something to the table too (capital, experience/knowhow, hustle), etc. If I like your idea, I will likely reach out to you for further discussions.

Autos / Naija Used Cars Under 2m by badboygood: 8:58am On Feb 26, 2015
Hi guys.
I'm looking for a good naija used car (preferably an SUV) for under 2m. I've seen some 05-07 Nissan Pathfinders and 04/04 Touaregs on olx and some other sites for between 1.5 - 2m.
I'm wondering if that is a fair price range or if it is just stammers trying to offer a good price in order to scam somebori. Also, I'm seeing a lot of the 05 - 07 pathfinders in that price range and not many other SUVs for those years. It's making me wonder if there are any intrinsic issues with the pathfinders for those years.

Guys your thoughts will be appreciated. Don't want to go and waste my money.

Autos / Re: TOTAL COSTS OF CLEARING TOKUNBO VEHICLES. by badboygood: 11:46am On Jan 23, 2015
Does the customs value of the car reduce if the car is damaged? i.e if there is rear or side collision? Just wondering whether it is cheaper to fix the car before or after shipping.
