For those that have collected their visitors visa from VFS....... please I beg you

1. Book a return ticket

2. Travel light (one luggage) for two weeks

3. Make a hotel/Airbnb reservations

4. Don't carry winter outfits (because summer
is approaching)

5. Carry at least a thousand dollars with you in
Cash

6. Don't carry certificate or resumé with you

7. If you have anything that will implicate you
on your phone delete it or a chat with a
Canadian boyfriend or girlfriend delete it

8. If that thing is so important and you don't want to loose, I suggest you save it on the cloud and delete it from your device or better still format your device

9. The CBSA officer have every right to go through your device and can still send you back home (yea....they have that right). That's why i strongly advice against flagpolling when converting your visitors visa to study or work permit at the border.

WHY
Because you didn't state truthfully at the airport when you arrived that you'll be looking for job or study and remain in Canada

So you'll have to prove THIS if you flagpole

SUGGESTION
Apply online instead from inside Canada using the new public policy (140 days processing time).

But if your blood dey hot and you can't wait for the processing time of 140 days, then go ahead and flagpole......it's your funeral.

I have never applied to USA.i was only denied in Canada which I disclosed,so let them continue to lie,have sent reconsideration anyway,they are yet to upload my wife and kids information on the tracker

The person that process your passport claim a misplacement. Which he will make affidavit, police report and a copy of your data page.Everything will be done like a new passport and without the old passport 10months expiring date. Normally is less than 6 months before renew.

For me , my husband and my son .
This morning , I got a BVL.
And this night , I rechecked on my tracker and noticed a visa document number .
I am so happy and I’m looking forward to the PPR.
Also wanted to add that I applied with my passport that was going to expire February 2023
But just 3 days ago , I sent webforms of my renewed now 10 years passport .(my husband too)
And I noticed that everything was updated in the visa details .
So anyone who is in the same situation

I was also denied US visa in 2016. For those that stated it and still got refused, I guess it’s VO’s error. I don’t know if reconsideration works for visit visa, it’s really painful waiting for years only to get a refusal for this.

If you are denied Visa 2019 that does not mean you won't receive Bvl,this is not biometric collection letter

But it if he received before, that means he doesn’t have to get verified again because biometrics lasts for 10 years.
