ProgrammingRe: Ict by Badero(m): 2:48pm On Jun 28, 2007
Hello Nairalanders, As regards this topic, Engineering seems to be the best these days. The reason being that no matter how perfect you're in software development, you find it difficult to be trusted and buy your software here in Nigeria. This is my view. Tanx!

EducationNigerian Universities Are Not United by Badero(op): 4:45pm On Jun 25, 2007
Great Nairalanders! This question keeps bothering my mind - Why are Nigerian Universities not united? They are just not united in many ways; policies, admission, decisions and so on. For instance, the ASUU Strike is on but some Universities like UNI Ilorin refused to join the strike for just no reason but when the benefits come up and achieved, all the universities will benefit. This is not ok!. In admission also, I seem no reason why admission score should vary from one University to the other. I would like to share from Nairaland users opinions please. Kindly contribute.
EducationRe: Computer Science by Badero(m): 4:38pm On Jun 25, 2007
My brother, OAU & UI have good resources in this aspect of course but difficult to gain admission. Best of luck !
PoliticsRe: NLC Calls Off Strike by Badero(m): 11:03am On Jun 25, 2007
The last 3-days strike is totally baseless bcoz all these demands had been granted then. The strike has really achieved and is comendable anyway. We hope for better in future. It seems the President/present administration is damned too slow in adressing issues. The next issue is ASSU Strike. What is the situation of things regarding the strike?
Jobs/VacanciesRe: Breaking News- Recruiment At Etb by Badero(m): 10:02am On Jun 25, 2007
Mchinno, What is so special about your Bsc. Certificate that you are condemning HND holder? Can you compete with any HND holder? Brother, BSc Certificate is just a name tag and nothing so special about it. You are only good theoretically and most of you gained admission into these Universities through the back doors and as a result struggled and bribed your ways out. So, next time people are talking of HND holder, if you do not know the value, kindly keep your mouth shut. It should be noted that most CEO/Directors of most organisations today are HND holder. If you are in doubt, site 10 organizations in your area and try to call for their CVs.

Mr Victor - ETB - You people (the policies maker) don't seem to be realistic and genuine in your decision making. You just come up with a decision that is totally invalid and will not make your bank productive in any manner. As for me, you can go to hell with your banking work (BSc - 2:1) job. Couple with the stress involved in banking work, you shouldn't be selective in your choice of graduate, no to talk of the grades obtained. Do you know how Mr. A with first class in your bank got it. What of that lady with 2:1 in Accounting? Do you know the atrocities she committed before given that grade?

Nairaland GeneralRe: What Do You Hate About Our Moderator? by Badero(m): 5:51pm On Jun 15, 2007
Seun, Everyone is entitled to his/her opinion. Let everyone express his/herself. Only an ungrateful human being will criticise you, website or your opinion. As regards to Seye, what stops him from advertising his website on the dailies where he will pay for the advert? In as much no one pays for the service render through your site, no one should complain accordingly. Am a fesher on this site and must confess to you, I have achieved alot.

More greese to your elbow once again.
