To me i do not see any strange or new in what she is doing and do not despise her, as doing so may spell doom for you. Same thing happen to my wife sometimes in mid 90's and up till now it has been a blessing to my family. But only thing i want be careful of , is to be more cautious and not too much believing on some messages she may give sometimes  as some of them could be doctored to suit her wish.
