uchendu99: Ok, first of all for the umpteenth time, didn't say you needed to have a blog, Its like comparing a hawker to someone who has a shop, even if they sell the same product, the guy with the shop has an edge, he can more easily have repeat customers. By having a website you're building a reputation. I hope you get the idea. Guy, help me o, I bouught ur report, but made peanuts, $7 in almost 8 days now. Politics › Re: Sahara Reporters Deserve The Respect Of Nigerians by bAdoosha(m): 5:01pm On Mar 15, 2016 |
HardMirror: Sahara reporters has been called all sort of derogatory names, especially when Gej was president. Many saw SR has a propaganda tool of the APC. Fastforward to this year and this unbiased news outlet remains the best especially in their investigative journalism. So is SR now a propaganda tool of PDP as the keep exposing APC and the presidency? Sahara reporters has on many occasions revealed embarrassing deceptions president Buhari led administration would have preferred covered. In my opinion, SR should be encouraged to keep up the good work. They have been unbiased so far and I urge them to continue in this spirit for the good of our nation Nothing is black and white bro. Not everyone in APC is happy with the status quo right now remember. |

obasiken: Is this the kind of utterances that should be made by a minister of Nigeria? Instead of him to be thinking of a way to make production of PMS cheaper in Nigeria he has already admitted failure. This is why APC is failing cos they are PESSIMISTS. I think he was just being honest. And he added they are going to fix it. Even though taking this governments word for what it is is a hard one. |

Politics › Go And Face Your Trial First, Judge Tells Tarfa by bAdoosha(op): 4:48pm On Mar 15, 2016 |
The Federal High Court in Lagos on Tuesday asked a Senior Advocate of Nigeria, Rickey Tarfa to first defend the criminal charge against him before pursuing civil damages against the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC). Justice Mohammed Idris upheld EFCC’s preliminary objection to Tarfa’s N2.5billion suit. He ordered a stay of proceedings until Tarfa’s trial at the Lagos State High Court is concluded. According to him, a substantial part of the reliefs Tarfa sought have a direct bearing on the charge against him. He said Tarfa’s vehicle and phones, which the SAN prayed the court to order their release, had been listed as exhibits in the criminal case. “Also, it is clear that the information and data retrieved from the mobile handsets are to be used as evidence in the criminal charge pending before the Lagos High Court,” the Judge said. Justice Idris said although Tarfa has the guaranteed right to be heard fairly and expeditiously, his fundamental rights suit does not supersede the criminal charge. “It should be noted that this right does not stand above the country, the state or the people,” the Judge said. Justice added that it would not be fair to the prosecution should Tarfa’s suit be decided in his favour before the criminal case is determined. www.thenationonlineng.net/court-orders-stay-proceedings-tarfas-suit/ |
