Same thing happened to her. Her phone number was used to purchase 7k airtime immediately after the phone was collected but they couldn't transfer the money out and couldn't transfer the rest from her bank account too. Now she has 7k airtime on her line after she retrieved it.

mine was 5k airtime when I checked with my bank app,don't want to spill too much here because I am suspecting someone we tracked down to auchi from technology market who scammed a friend on iPhone 6,I have send my friend the necessary details,will get his feedback on Monday and proceed from there.

These are people spoiling this forum for serious sellers who make a living from this platform,first it was one guy,then tessyprice and now this one. If the scammed victims can't find a way to locate her,contact me I know someone who can track down people like these,we tracked one bastard scammer down to auchi Poly for scamming a friend on iPhone 6s a months ago,then I wasn't a registered member if not I would have shared the story here. After spending 3days in the guardroom at naseme barracks, we handed him to SARS at division A,jattu police station, we made sure his parents paid back every kobo we spent before he was released. My relocation sales thread has been there since I opened it,even though I insisted on cash and carry and refused to sell anything to those who don't have relation to inspect for them.people are scared to come buy from me,one even associated me to a scammer simply because I sent him sane pictures someone gave him just to illustrate what am selling. I don't have pity for these people when caught just as I don't pity thieves and kidnappers. You people should track her to the end of the earth if possible. If one person is not made a scape goat and his pictures posted on front page,others won't learn.

Trust in business goes a long way. I wouldn't send my laptops down to anyone without payment first. You see, nothing is wrong with this method of dealing/delivery but you have to be sure person u are re dealing with a trustworthy person. You have to be able to confirm the seller's past dealings here on NL.

That laptop you wanna buy for 40k is a lowball price. The seller posted that laptop simply for people who doesn't understand this "if it is too good to be true is definitely a scam.

you are right,no one will be willing to send their item to you with their own money simply because you want to play safe,better use an escrow,forget about buying or take the risk.
