majekdom2: . Indeed, b!! You are the man now. Obviously, you are a rapist that comes under the excuse of seduction. Na cow you be. Obedience to what, prevention to what.. wait till decently dressed girls come tell their stories about dressing. Rape has nothing to do about dressing. It's an act of indiscipline an lack of self control! Stop fuming like a wild sissy! Most woman wrappers like you trying to be holier than the pope won't hesitate to 'mount' at the slightest opportunity. Hypocrites!! Everybody cannot have self control e.g. Mandela, Trump, Strauss Kahn, Cosby etc |

gidgiddy: The fact is that before Nigeria can be restructured or powers devolved to states, it must be passed into law.
The core North (NW and NE) have a total of 150 reps in a 360 house of representatives(42%)
The also have an Army of 40 Senators (36%)
How will anyone get restructuring if these people dont buy the idea? Not possible What happened to simple majority |

valentineuwakwe: noise makers. .canny guys act and impose policies like ur northern counterparts? don't be surprise some may be acting as spies for their northern governors and buhari. .until north agrees, devolution of power is still a dream. .while we are still dreaming self. . Of course, we shall persuade/force the north to agree. If the reverse were the case, they wouldn't have been able to achieve any change alone without the south in agreement. We must start from somewhere and not give up before the fight has started. |
Politics › Re: Southern Nigerian Governors Call For Devolution Of Powers by BakireBulmaker: 10:18am On Oct 24, 2017 |
gidgiddy: Go and check how many legislators the combined core North(NW and NE) have. It is more than enough to stop restructuring. Restructuring or devolution of powers has to be approved by legislators first and the core North have enough votes to see it is never approved Please give me facts not wishful assumptions. |
Politics › Re: Southern Nigerian Governors Call For Devolution Of Powers by BakireBulmaker: 7:45am On Oct 24, 2017 |
gidgiddy: Even if they like, let them hold 100 meetings. Nigeria will never be restructured and power will never be devolved to the states. The core North have more than enough elected officials to make sure that never happens. Rubbish! Core north is useless without the middle belt. All we need is the middlebelt!! |

Gongoni head You sound like a dulllard! When the country is restructured, only serious minded, visionary, committed, diligent and hard working people will seek public office. Why? The corruption element that attracts thugs and mediocres would have been automatically removed. |

OKDnigeria: Everybody acknowledges that there's more corruption now than in the sixties when Nigeria operated fiscal federalism. The present structure encourages corruption and nepotism. We have to restructure! My brother. Don't mind the looonatics. We shall overcome. How some supposedly learned people think the best system of govt is for the FG to share federal allocation between states every month beats me. |

Spylord48: From Fayose to Wike to Okorocha To Atiku . I wonder if there is no other reasonable person in this country that can contest for presidency apart from these old men that couldn't utilize the little opportunity given to them to serve as governors and vice president.
Worst still is that the present day youths are not even ready to take over from these old men. Imagine Yahaya Bello as young as he is,people were even happy because he was seen as a clear hope of better tomorrow yet he is busy disgracing the youths.Salary he couldn't pay, roads he couldnt build.A SuG president will collide with other excos and steal money meant for the students. What will be our fate if such a person is given the chance to be a president? We really need a good leader in this country. These old men have done more harm than good. Until the country is restructured, there won't be any reasonable person to choose from. Sorry! |
