In that case, Achebe should acknowledge also that Ojukwu arrogantly led his people to be slaughtered senselesly.[/quote Your reasoning is quite pathetic. Do you really think Ojukwu led the entire host of igbos entirely on his own whims? Are you thinking? Even in death, all igbo men stood in support of what he did and daily eulogise him for his valour. Many prominent igbo sons fought or worked on the Biafran side. Trust Igbos, they would have deserted Ojukwu if they didn't believe in the course. |
Holy shiit, Chief Obafemi Awolowo was GANGSTAR! So educated, intelligent, brilliant; yet he kept it gangstar to his grave. It's a world of kill, or be killed; and everything is fair in a war. Vicious world, I tell ya. More reason why I keep it gangstar as well, it's the survival of fittest doctrine that controls the conscious/knowledgeable minds. Death before dishonour and act before acted upon, phuck what everyone thinks, you don't owe no one shiiit. Merry making after war, but when it's on, it's on. Chief Obafemi Awolowo reminds me of myself. Brutal, gangstar, ghetto, shrewd, and vicious; yet still standing among the best in the corporate world. Pity and survival don't mix like two dycks; survive first, and feel pity later. Long live Biafra![/quote How sad. Such a pity we still have a lot of miserable Nigerians. |
Labaran Maku once snapped at a journalist "if oil subsidy removal is such a bad idea, why did Ghana adopt it". That showed me how shallow his level of reasoning was. Clearly he hadn't understood why Nigerians took to the streets. He indeed talks carelessly and thoughtlessly. |
chelseabmw: Wow..........So common Ethiopia that just gained their independence that day here.....Na wah ooo....Nigeria nor dey shame self?I thought Ethiopia was never colonised. |
bakila: Wrong postulations. Those terms were relegated for going into adminstration. Is is fair for rangers or Lobi to win with walk over three points and goals earned from ocean boys? No!sorry to correct you. Rangers beat ocean boys in yenagoa by 1-0 and again in enugu. Those were hard earned 6 points not walkover points as you wrongly suggest. |
Machini: @those complaining, just so u know, d NPL has a set of laid down rules guiding it. If a club fails to honour 2 consecutive games, they shal b expelled, and the results of their games, both played and unplayed, shall b canceled! Is it that difficult to understand?? They didnt make d rule ystday just to award d title to Pillars. You see, it doesn't matter how the rule came about. The fact that all the clubs were party to it does not make it sound. The expulsion is enough punishment. Deducting hard earned points from other clubs simply doesn't make sense. |
Very sad. I'm disappointed with Ibitoye and Collin Udoh for supporting this rubbish. Why should the league start on the pitch and end in the boardroom? Why should rangers and lobi loose valuable 6 points and any hopes of winning the league because of ocean boys expulsion. I thought we were trying to develop this league. Surely not with these obnoxious rules. |
