Ivreke:
Yinkard4me, u r really lousy, u talk lyk a kid, am nt even sure dat u knw hw to think. Do u think dat football is mathematics or chemistry where 5*5=25 and H2+O=H2O in any part of the world.
The coach selects those he think they can deliver and tell the formation they have to play, but when the get to the pitch they play rubbish. Blame the players nt the coach. In 2010 world cup, yakubu missd a clear chance which nigeria wud av qualified. Hence the blame was on d coach.
Blame the players not moyes, blame the players nt van gaal blame the players nt keshi. Now shoo, shoo!
Look at yoiu. What do you know? The coach selects the team, 1st game against congo they don't play to instruction, against SA, they don't play to instruction, you invite them yet again against sudan and they still don't play to instruction and you sit there asking me to blame the players not the coach. If the guys can't play to instructions in 3 matches yet they play to instruction at their clubs, then our coach has a problem which can only be solved by sacking him cos he has lost grip of the boys. Please don't ever blame the players again.

thegoodjoehunt3:
At the AFCON and confeds, we played a possessive style of play which many Nigerians admired. Even in the game against Italy. We played possessively. That shows the coach can play that style. So I can not start saying Coach Keshi is clueless to coaching.

We should be talking about him reverting to his old style of play if he is continuing as our coach.
Should we be the ones to tell him to go back to his old style? A good coach knows when to switch styles and not wait on fans like us to tell him. Your excuses for Keshi do not have depth. What was Keshi thinking when he changed style? And when the new style failed why has he stuck to it? He's a clueless coach joor.

elampiro:
Forget this possessive football as your excuse. Look for another excuse.

* We played possessive football against USA, Greece, Congo, South Africa, what did we get from it? We were passing aimlessly around the pitch while opponents were quicker with the ball.

* The reason Keshi resort to long balls yesterday was because of weather condition. He was trying to make the ball to work for him instead of his boys running mile and getting tired.

* Keshi has to apologize to Brown Ideye and Sunday Mba. Since Ideye left Super Eagles, Emenike has been useless. Except 'muscling and bududozing' his way to one goal at the world cup, he has no been delivery becuase he doesn't get the supply.

* Our attack is clueless without Moses and Ideye. Keshi should think of calling all these players back to the team:

Mose
Babatunde
Ideye
Mba
Osaze..... Recall from retirement
Uche.

From what we currently have in camp, if Musa doesn't perform, our attack becomes lame.

* We walk a very tight rope now. We need to win all matches while hoping South Africa beat Congo. We will only win in Congo if we have Moses, Babatunde, Osaze/Ideye around. These players have a better creativity. Mba is hard working.
And Musa hardly performs. You got it spot on. Keshi has weakened his team by dropping Ideye and Mba. Today we don't have a player that can hold the ball and create something with it. And our coach sits there chewing gum. Yuk!

So because keshi lost a game his now obsolete or useless?
I hate Nigerians
If to say Nigeria na Brazil, buy now una 4 don hang keshi tyre 4 neck .. Born am fire.
I am amazed at how some of you reason. What's all this excuses for keshi. We all know the nations cup victory was a big fluke. The eagles have failed to get better as a team. All the players are average. No form of creativity, no single player with ideas. They keep relying on hopeful long balls. And people are here defending a coach that has failed to realise the need to overhaul his team. Can you guys hear yourselves? Eagles are struggling in a group made up of SA, congo and sudan? Isn't that a shame? What if we got Ghana, tunisia and cApeverde? Please let's face reality here. Keshi can't take us any where in football.

NewNigeriaMind: Calling you a slow thinker will be a dis-service to fools. so to prove a point he should go shake hands with patients in isolation whom are still under quarantine. The way some of you think or reason is not better than that of a child with down syndrome.

What is the ethnic or religious bias here. did ebola consider ethnicity when it infected those people. The great doctor Ada that died first who is also the owner of first consultant is married to a Yoruba man. do you know what those people are going through now or what they have passed through since her death, do you know what her son is dealing with now because of his mother"s death. you ethnic jingoist cant see beyond your nose.

You could have made a valid point regarding the effort of the minister of health to curtail the virus while working without rancor with Fashola in Lagos. Like I said before, if only politicians in power will rise above party affiliations to work effective with each other for the greater good of the people, Nigerians no matter the ruling party will have better dividend of democracy. Yet that cannot underplay the fact that LASG was proactive and acted swiftly to curtail the virus. In fact, this is another pointer that the best administrators in Nigeria are in Lagos. Even other ebola ravaged countries are reaching out to Lagos state to assist in curtailing the virus.

Give honor to whom it is due to.

Shalom.
You uncouth fellow. Do you have to be so bitter as to make allusions to down syndrome kids while spitting venomous hatred? If you really have a point, then u won't need all d insult.

So Fashola is the most 'clueful' leader in Nigeria? What an insult on the president and the FG. What's all the noise about this fashola guy? Today he's the ebola hero, no credits to the FG. I'm amaze at how some of you reason. Fashola this Fashola thatn enough abeg!

Afam4eva: There was another flop by the name of Chukwu Ndukwe that was called up by former SE coach, Christian Chukwu. I don't know how on earth that guy found his wat to the team. He probably was Chukwu's relation. That guy had 100 chances and was only able to convert 1.

Around that same period there was a guy named something Ekwueme that played 11 for us. He was not as bad as Ndukwe but was not what we needed.
Ifeanyi Ekwueme was worse than Chukwu Ndukwe.

Onlinebizexpert: Do I blame her no.........

If she knew that what it took me to pass a test of five marks in medical school is the same as what it took her to pass a degree exam of 100 marks

What is keshi doing that he is demanding a salary of 10 million naira per month, if it were to be doctors even churches and mosques would go on strike

What did a senator read that his salary can foot the salaries of 25 professors of medicine

If people knew that the fight to answer consultant by other medically inclined professions is simply a ploy to assume power

Having another consultant In the hospital is the same as having two captains in a ship

I will not blame funke she is trying to sell her newspaper by writing such a demeaning article to the people who can elongate the line between life and death after GOD

I don't expect funke to understand because unlike her I have to read 3 courses (anatomy, physiology, biochemistry) which lasts for about 15 years in just 18 months and am expected to be better than the person that reads just one of the aforementioned courses and yet such a person wants to assume a post that that takes a doctor an average of 25years to reach

I won't blame funke because maybe in her world a footballer like Mikel can demand for the title of world best player just like messi and c ronaldo by just playing back pass

U claim its greed but I think its the right thing

If I should be in charge of your life in your weakest moments don't you think I should be financially emotionally and psychologically stable....

Do I blame funke and some professional jambites on naira land for their articles and comments respectively.....no I wont

Why don't you whole lot contest for the position of GOD who created the universe because we can give both to humans

I am not in support of a situation whereby patients are punished for the crime of others but till we as a country get it right by giving honour to whom it is due we can never make a head way

To funke keep writing what you think is right afterall its your job and you are paid to do so

But one thing is sure IF TWO ELEPHANTS FIGHT THE GRASSES WILL SUFFER

That's all I can say for now, falter my points if you have the facts.........thanks again

can't believe i wrote the above emotional statements, but the truth must be told
Nobody forced you to read medicine so get off your high horse and earn your pay. I personally think doctors are stealing a living in Nigeria.

Did U even hear NNPC's reply, that CBN brought up that complaint in september which the presidency forwarded to the petroleum minister who satisfactorily replied the. Query. Are you telling. Me that Sanusi had no idea that other government agencies take different oil revenues and not just NNPC.
If you are the MD of a bank, will you take that slight lightly, if your chief financial officer leaks a letter he wrote to you to the shareholders saying that all the profit the bank has made in two years are missing? Do you know the impart of that allegation on your credibility, knowing that most people will take it at face value since it emanated from such a high ranking official within the firm?
Let's be truthful o...that letter should only arise at the end of an investigation, not at the beginning.

You don't write such a letter when investigations have not been carried out. It damages your reputation and calls into question all other information he has released. How many of them were false or deliberately exaggerated to achieve a desired reaction.
Don't mind gullible Nigerians here on nairaland. Always falling for any cheap propaganda propelled by APC and sahara reporters. They will believe hook, line and sinker any gist from sahara reporters just the same way they believed the Federal Government killed Prof. Iyayi. It's a pathetic situation.

rudedough: [b]Bro i will never in my life have a Child in Nigeria. Never!!! Nigerians mentality sucks big time and if my Child should have this barbaric hating attitude, i'll regret it for the rest of my life.

Travel and see how people appreciates little things, smile, say thank you, call to say hello and reduce prices of goods during festive seasons so that everyone including the poor can celebrate.

But Nigerians are the opposite. A customer will call a sales girl "Hey where you?". A doctor will treat a patient and she just walks away because she's paying no thank you, no appreciation. A cab driver drops you off at your house, no thank you, you just get down and walk away cos of course you paid. Farming and Taxi driving are considered as a poor man's job and during festive seasons, they increase the prices of goods so that only the rich will celebrate.

Anyone who gives birth to a child in Nigeria should be stoned to death as prescribed by the Mosaic law cos there is nothing as wicked as giving birth to a child into an irresponsible society.

Just look at NL as an example and see people who are going to be your next door neighbor. grin grin
Zenith and ecobank. The worst being gtbank. If u a gtbank account holder and gtbank ATM swallows your card, that's d end. U have to apply for a new card, which will take at least a month to come. Yet they will be charging for every transaction at d banking hall that is less than 150,000. They have done that to me twice, but I have given them last warning. The 3rd time and I will write an open letter to their MD. Fidelity, Skye and first bank are equally very good. Another card swallowing ATM is access bank. Just be aware
That's a very precise post. If your GTBank card gets trapped, it's bye bye to the card. U have to apply for a new one at a cost of course. Again I have been paid mutilated notes from a GT ATM. All ATMs have issues but I think first bank remains the best.
PoliticsRe: Is GEJ Insinuating Obasanjo Killed Murtala Mohammed? by balladin: 11:29pm On Dec 23, 2013
callmenow: These rumours has never gone away! However, OBJ has been lucky all his life until this 2013. Could anyone have contemplated this thread six weeks ago. It is the OBJ hubris that has brought us to this point. OBJ believed that he 'won' the Biafran war. He was to be the head of state after the Gowon coup. However the northern officers insisted on seniority in the army. Murtala Mohammed was however a course ahead of OBJ, and therefore OBJ's senior. OBJ acquiesced. However Murtala wanted to return Nigeria to civil rule after his tenure in 1978/1979 after the constitutional conference to setup the enabling constitution. This in effect means that OBJ would not be Head of State which he believes is his destiny. Dimka and his cohorts went ahead to kill Murtala, because they were OBJ boys, having worked under him. However, OBJ seeing the outcry after the coup sacrificed them. Before all these, Murtala suspected OBJ of being corrupt because of OBJ's proclivities in Lagos. He was pursuing other officers wives, impregnating women all over Lagos (unsubstantiated, however but very widely rumoured). OBJ was going to be retired. Murtala also suspected OBJ of being a security threat to him (coup). He was to retire OBJ, Danjuma and others on the anniversary of the Gowon coup on the 29th of July 1976. This may seem far fetched, but that was the prevalent rumour at the time. OBJ has always denied these chain of events and successfully drowned out all inquiries until Jonathan reminded OBJ of the past. The question is why did Jonathan bring this up right now, thirty seven years after the event?
To answer your closing question, GEJ was coerced by OBJ via the later's letter to bring these issues up. GEJ has not expressly accused OBJ yet. He has just made a statement, leaving us to make interpretations, and I thinks that's alright.
