How did we get here? Play back mali 2002, we still had the ageing remnant of the great team of the 90s. But a revolt by senior players led to the disbandment of the team. Big mistake. You don't break a team to build a new one, you gradually introduce new players till a complete change is achieved. That way you preserve the style, belief and culture in the team. The new team that we took to the world cup in Japan/korea later same year had talent but lacked the spirit of the real eagles. Sadly we are still searching for that missing war tool that brought all the glory in the 90s. Hoping that Keshi can bring it back.
