What happened to your android web server app? You said something about direct advertisement. How is it going?

The app is still on Play Store. it is the 89th top free app used by Nigerians so I guess it gains a fairly good number of users daily.

I am working a new version but for some reason, all my development devices started defecting.. Laptop, phones etc. So, releasing the update has been delayed.

Dhtml18, if the gradlew message method is part of a mistake from Google's tutorial, why not skip that part and go directly to the part where messages are sent from mobile devices? That is most likely to interest your audience the most. I think.

I mean, you are the one conducting the tutorial not Google. I am pretty sure almost everybody knows the location of the GCM docs.

I pointed that out because when I used GCM, I didn't use any gradlew method to send messages, so I think it can be skipped.

Dhtml18, why do we have to send message to the messaging service using gradlew? Why not send the message directly from the mobile device?

Jaelz, your list is very incomplete. If your criteria is 10,000 downloads, you missed quite a number of apps.

There was a reason most designers place the keypad button below - so that you can use one hand and access your keypad.

With your design, I can just imagine the stress of having to use both hands for a simple task cos obviously, there is no way one hand would hold the phone and still reach the keypad with the thumb

In Android Lollipop, The keypad button is at that position and it is not hard to reach as you illustrate.

elvis10ten, I don't understand why you placed a "dial" button on an ongoing call page. To start another call? but there is the keypad already.
Most of the improvements that can be made on the ongoing call page I think is in action input mechanism Like double tap to end a call, swipe up the screen to bring up the keypad etc

Well, this is the first I am hearing of this sort of thing. I hope The account doesn't get disabled.

but I have integrated ad mediation. so now, I can show ads from Facebook, Millenial Media and Admob(whenever it gets restored). This way if any of them starts messing up, the other ad service automatically takes over without having to update the app and I can add other ad sources whenever it suits me.

This is the route I should have gone before if I was aware of Admob's fickleness.

Have you started this project? you said you are not good with python, which languages are you good at?
Are you a good programmer? do you have any project to support your claim?

You should put up your contact too if you are really interested in working with someone.

I think it is a very serious case because warning comes first and if the violation continues then they will place a ban. Although I have not received any ban, warning or suspension but I will suggest you try another ad network.

I will try MoPub ad mediation network. I will use them to help me use multiple ad sources in order to prevent this kind of situation in the future.

The reason they gave was that I clicked my own ad multiple times. The only time I can recall doing that was when I was developing the app, I clicked to test ad integration and that was like 2 months ago. I mean like 3 or four clicks compared to the thousands of clicks I have delivered to these people.

My annoyance actually is that there was no warning or anything like that and this month should be when I am due to receive first payment. Apparently, all the revenue I earned will be taken by google and some paid back to advertisers.

Developers that use Admob for app monetization, has anyone of you been suspended? also can you share the state of your revenue when the suspension expired.

I just got suspended and I haven't had to deal with this before. This basically means that my apps will have no ads and generate no revenue this month until the suspension expires.

I am considering using an ad mediation service to prevent this in the future, is there any ad mediation service anybody can recommend?
