Dear ChidiChris, What you have done takes maturity, for that I doff my hat for you and you have my respect. To the rest of the House we can only learn andd sift values from our brothers contributions. God bless. P.S. I forgot the sisters too. Love u all |
Haha, If ChidiChris were to be GOD, '''. I really wonder. In a forum like this there are bound to be divergent views which can be corrected or adopted. Chidichris, going by your name, I think you are schizophrenic. Are you really this intolerant? It is people like you that sponsored the killings in Jos. Are you a football fan or a fanatic or how else do you want to justify your railings on eldee and the rest of the crew. I think the moderator should bar you from posting on any forum for that matter. You insult peoples parents like you fell from heaven. Seems like you are bereft of parental attention while growing up. I have gone through this thread and I am posting because of your love for insulting parents and peoples personalities. Take heed my boy if you want to live long desist from insulting Parents otherwise the Curse of the Aged will be upon you. I am addressing you in my discuss and I know that you will learn. But if you are a leopard that never changes it's spot then I am waiting. |
@ poster, I really appreciate you peoples effort at creating B2B forum. Can 1.6m fly this vehicle. I have 1.3 now but I can hustle for the balance. If yes, send a reply to my box, but if no, limit your reply to this forum. But is it in Nigeria now? and becos it is Nairaland I hope we can trust it is not accidented? I really want the car. |
Big UPs to you guys, Phenomenal One and the man with a swagger. The Demon's comment is straight from hell. I mean there is an expose going on and all you can say is this? How about contributing or start a new thread. because of your comment adding no value to this thread, You suffered this attack. |
@Roforofo, Quite appreciate your response, "Eniyan buruku ti ba eniyan rere je'' according to Obey. Until there is a reorientation from the top and a change in value system from get money at all cost syndrome, Nigeria will still battle with this attitude of scammers and frauds spoiling the good works of others. I honestly dont think you are foolish as being able to accumulate the amount of money and make it work for you in whatever investment portfolio you have can only be a trait of a success driven mind. Life is not a one way street but rather a Highway where each has to locate his/her own lane and direction and keep at it otherwise changing lanes can yield unsavoury consequences not only to the person but potentially to those around. So my brother, I really have respect for your decision, Just dont stop investing. Take good care of yourself in this winter season. |
Good People of this community. I need contributions from bank executives on this forum. My Firm is in the petroleum distribution sector. My firm got an LPO to supply 6 trucks of AGO per month to a cement company in PH. I approached my bank as usual and I was told that they posted a huge loss and I will need a collateral before getting the sum. A couple of weeks ago we gave the title to a land in PH as collateral. Now the story is for me to reduce the amount of credit to 10M so that Head Office wont have to be contacted. I am guessing that all they are doing is to drag into the new year. The Cement company rep. is getting disenchanted with my non performance, Yours truly is getting frustrated with the whole process. Are banks supposed to be economic aids or saboteurs? Apologies to all Bankers but I need to know if it is now a standard bank policy (however covert) not to extend line of credit to finance LPOs again God Bless P.S. I just finished another round of meeting |
@roforofo. I hope it doesn't mean the same as Lagos dirt. Anyway that aside, I wish to know if you defrauded by these so called fraudulent nairalanders. Becos I just joined the forum and I believe it to be a kind of think thank for people concerning any topical issue online, but this your assesment of nairalanders as a fraudulent set of online, realtime scammers makes me think twice. I deal in AGO and I had cause to call a guy up from nairaland who said he had a particular qty to sell, but the info he gave me was false. I quickly called him up to berate him. I believe what the forum is all about is to help individuals get due diligence and from there they wiil be better positioned to make the most informed decision. Your post is good in the sense of being a fraud alert but, my guy you generalise too much. The jury can still decide on this |
@init4dmoni, Congatulations!!!!!! Wao. But do you know that if you had invested the money in any venture of your I mean ANY, you would have turned over the money at leat once in One year. Take heed, unless the money is meant for MDAs it is not worth it placing it in fixed Dep. |
Ladies, Gents, wherever on the globe you might be, NigerianBanks used to borrow money from Foreign banks @3-5% p/a and sell the same to Nigerians at 18-22%p/a thereby profiting in the margin spread. But with the global crisis, This is no longer so, so they come up with ideas to make you part with your money and trade/ invest or extend it as a credit line at <20% p/a. My advice is this. before subscribing to any bank's investment or insurance scheme, Ask the marketer for the inflation rate in Nigeria. Next question ask them for their interest rate return. If inflation rate is greater than interest rate, Dont even allow the marketer to sit down. If otherwise, determine if the spread is ok for u before continuing. Acceptance will now depend on your risk apetite and nature. But a Critical note is this; Average Int rate on Savings is 3-5% per annum, Fixed Deposit is 10-15% per annum. No Bank, I repeat no bank is going to offer you 10% per month. All their Rates of Interest is Per Annum, Monthly Figures will then be derived. The interest can be compounded monthly and credited to you but not the entire interest on principal per month. So look into the terms properly before agreeing and dont allow any sweet tongued banker to hoodwink you. Get your facts rite. Nairalanders, I rest my case P.S I love the Banking profession a lot |
Please if you can post the pix I will appreciate it. I know of a construction firm that needs it in Uyo and PH. If it falls through then you can meet and then bring it down to their site. Payment is per day but you must have your driver. |
The Self acclaimed king of the Jungle cannot but find views of other monarchs to support. The fundamental principle in Financial Management is Shareholders wealth maximisation. Now Ibru and her cohorts only ensured that Managers wealth maximisation was the only business Nigerian Banks pursued with all dedication. Now the veil of deciet was lifted and instead of Nigerians whose interest are being protected to applaud CBNs drastic actions, the absurd way we react is the opposite. Drastic times calls for Drastic measures. Ghana through Flt Lt J Rawlings did it and they are still reaping the benefits till today. Massively Ghana is improving not only economically but also socio-politically (evidenced by their free and fair election). I question the rational behind covering up this great evil perpetrated by the Banks CEOs all in the name of civility. I did my masters thesis on Risk Management and while looking at one of our banks annual reports in 2004-2006, I noticed a Director's brother took 3 loans amounting to Billions of Naira at different times and the amazing thing was 2 out of the loans were non performing yet the guy was still able to get another loan the next year to the report. without having liquidated the prior loan exposures. where is this country going to where such was allowed. Great Nigerians both within and without our National boundary, dont tell me such should be condoned. Why should Great Naija be known only for our propensity to cover up frauds, so as to protect the interest of a select few. do you know how many Market women and men that will be under untold hardship should those banks be allowed to fold. I rest my case for now. |
Swagger, appreciate your direct trend. But are you saying that with the fee you can get a one truck firm registered with the major marketers. |
javascript:void(0); I am not particularly impressed with the poster. I mean you raised issues about a venture. People replied on nairaland as a gesture of thanks you come back to say they should call you for information about a business you have not really done with much success. All you have to show for now is a set of Business plan and cash flow statement relating to the deal. If you are really about extending appreciation you should drop your email for further contacts. And I suspect that the information is for sale( On this I stand to be corrected ). |
