This kinda analysis is on point in beer parlour and garages....... I don't wanna discuss that...... You should analyze better
You should also postulate better! Since you don't want to discuss it, I'd rather leave it.

When I see things, I try as much as possible to say them as it is. I mean, seeing this argument grates on my nerves. How on earth is Boateng greater than Terry? Even UEFA and FIFA or any sane football sites can't spew such travesty. Boateng can only be better than Terry presently because Terry is old and past his prime, but in his prime, Boateng ain't got nothing on him. I can't let my dislike for anything shekpe make me stoop so low as to deny Terry his obvious superiority over Boateng. Heck, even as a Man Utd fan, I rate Terry in his prime over Ferdinand in his prime (it doesn't mean Ferdinand is a poor defender just that Terry has an edge over him) because of Terry's consistency. My United fans may not agree but this is my opinion.
You just earned yourself the tag "DSTV fan boy" for stating the obvious truth. Wait, the person will come and officially declare you so.

Gabriel ban has been lifted!
What exactly is FA trying to do? They keep coming across to me as being silly! I'm not exonerating Costa, he should be banned, but Gabriel's shouldn't be lifted. It was confrontational and every player must be disciplined. Mourinho may be right afterall!

Business / MTN Gets N34bn Digital Pay-tv Licence by bandely(m): 9:37pm On Sep 17, 2015
Telecommunications firm, MTN, has acquired a N34bn licence to provide digital pay television broadcasting
services in Nigeria.
The National Broadcasting Commission confirmed this on
Wednesday, saying that it approved for MTN Nigeria part of
the country’s 700MHz broadcasting spectrum solely for the
purpose.
The NBC spoke against the backdrop of allegations that it had sold the spectrum to MTN without recourse to transparency or the Nigerian Communications Commission,
the telecommunications industry regulator that is
empowered to sell such spectrum through a transparent
auction.
The companies, which made the allegations, had insisted
that the spectrum in question must be returned to the NCC
as the rightful custodian.
The NBC, however, dismissed the allegations, saying it was
not a telecoms spectrum, but a broadcasting spectrum.
The Director-General, NBC, Mr. Emeka Mba, said, “I am
pleased to inform you that we have successfully licensed
MTN Nigeria to use a part of the 700MHz to provide digital
pay-TV broadcasting services. We have thus raised N34bn,
slightly less than 50 per cent of our budget.
“I am pleased to inform you, also, that through this singular
move, Nigeria has once again pointed the way to other
African countries struggling with the effort of finding
financing for their own digital switchover programmes.
“It may be necessary to clarify that the use of the band, 470
– 862MHz, solely for UHF television broadcasting service on
a primary basis in Nigeria predates both the NBC and NCC.
“As a matter of fact, most administrations in the
International Telecommunications Union region 1 use the
entire 470 – 862 MHz for UHF television broadcasting prior
to ITU WRC-2007 conference.”
Mba said that in 2006, the ITU planned the entire 470 –
862MHz frequency band for digital UHF television
broadcasting for the region 1, to which the Nigerian
administration belonged.
He stated that the planning of the 470 – 862MHz frequency
band for digital UHF television was referred to in the ITU
circle as GE-06 plan, saying, “And after the signing of the
agreements resulting from this plan, it is now referred to as
the GE-06 agreement.”
The NBC director-general said the spectrum was sold to
enable Nigeria to meet the June 17, 2015 deadline set by the
ITU of transiting to digital terrestrial broadcasting.
He said despite that the announcement was in 2006 by ITU,
it was not until June 17, 2012 that the White Paper giving
direction to the process came out.

Politics / Crisis Brews In PDP Over Planned Reforms by bandely(m): 9:20pm On Sep 17, 2015
A fresh crisis is brewing among the members of the Peoples Democratic Party on how to reposition the party.
While a group known as the PDP National Reform Conference, which is headed by a former Minister of
Information, Prof. Jerry Gana, is planning to hold a conference on how to reform the party, the members of the
party’s National Working Committee have said the conference must not hold.
In a statement signed by the PDP National Secretary, Prof.
Wale Oladipo, the NWC said the reform conference must be
postponed in order “to create room for further consultations and exhaustive consideration by critical stakeholders on the report of the PDP post-election Assessment committee, headed by the Deputy Senate President, Senator Ike Ekweremadu, which is due for submission this month.”
The reform conference has been slated for October.
However, Gana said his group received its mandate from the national caucus of the party and the party’s Board of
Trustees to hold the conference.
According to Gana, some of the issues to be considered by
the conference include the best ways to “reignite the noble
ideals and good image of the PDP and restore the party’s
core values and principles.”
The committee, he added, would also generate fresh ideas
on “people-oriented programmes for ensuring good
governance, development, human security, social justice,
equity and fairness.”
The conference committee, which also has Chief Raymond
Dokpesi as a member had, on Tuesday, inaugurated various
sub-committees to prepare for the reform conference.
However, members of the NWC stayed away from the
International Conference Centre, Abuja, where the members
of the PDP reform conference committees met.
Twenty-four hours after the committees were inaugurated,
the NWC came up with a statement postponing the reform
conference indefinitely.
Since the PDP lost the general election the NWC had failed to call for the quarterly meeting of the party’s National
Executive Committee.
A member of the party’s NEC, who spoke with our
correspondent on condition of anonymity on Wednesday,
said that the NWC “is apprehensive that they may be sacked
by the NEC over the role they played in the shameful outing
of the party during the election and this informed their
decision to keep the NEC meeting in abeyance.”

The kind of news that is coming out of Adamawa this days is shocking, to say the least. This type of governor are the ones bastardizing the efforts of some people who built a party that is strong enough to wrestle power from the former ruling party. I pity the people of Adamawa, Ribadu seemed a better person than this Bindow abi na Window guy!

Am not talking about a billionaire that is not reaching out well enough! Real wealth is not in what one can do for oneself don't you think?
That's why his money is so silent someone like me don't even know he exists! Imaging, A Dantata an Indimi that isn't as rich commands my respect and recognition just because they invested their money in so many's life through their biznesses . That 's what I call wealth mehn!
I like people who give! I hold in high esteem charitable courses and I adore those who support them. That is why Andrew Carnegie is one of my favourite personality of all time. Be that as it may, I do not question individuals on how they spend their money! Whether they choose to throw it into the ocean or decide to cut everything with scissor is their headache.
The only people I complain about are corps. that made fortunes from the people in a country and misplace their CSR priorities by sponsoring some absurd events (mostly entertainment) and giving to those who already have (celebrities). I wouldn't even complain about them if there is an appreciable and sizable CSR geared towards germane issues such as health, education etc.
For the records, Oluwo Fernandez didn't make his billions in Nigeria.

Given the African standard, and if you are not talking about investment kinda billionaire, then yes! He was a Warren Buffet of Africa! The man was worth over 6billion pounds! One thing that made him stand out was the flamboyant but yet covert lifestyle he lived! The man buys the best things for himself! What I actually envied most about him is the political appointments he had in different African countries. That still surprises me.

Good! This is what I like to hear, not some people giving Olamide and Patoranking plots of land in Lekki, or someone giving the so called Nigerian celebrities million of dollars for doing nada!
Invest in research and learning, lay good educational foundation, that is what will spur us to development. It is pathetic that the corporate organizations would rather spend on frivolities, than to channel their CSR to something that is actually beneficial to the people.
To even thin that it is foreign institutions that have identified our best brains and are harnessing them while majority of our lots are still arguing of who belongs to what tribe and who gets what appointment! Shame!
