The very terrorists using the ammunition are being reintegrated into society, but the poor woman gets to die. What manner of justice is this? |
Not to sound vindictive, but it is ironic that it's the very military that have not been able to end insurgency in the country that is now at the receiving end of the macabre acts of the bandits/terrorists. |
We believe in Nigeria, but not in you sir. |
Na person wey don settle his lineage to the 10th generation from the country's commonwealth dey talk say make young people no japa. |
What would you do if you were in my shoes? I will remove the shoes and run, barefoot, for my life. Shikena!!! |
All I see are women and children. It is possible they are wives and children of the bandits/terrorists. |
Yet, there is another perspective—one rooted in symbolism rather than literal interpretation. Across history, societies have used imagery to inspire unity and remind citizens of shared responsibility. A portrait in this sense becomes not an object of devotion, but a visual reminder of leadership (one which rewards a select few), accountability (Nigeria has never been in this much debt since nationhood with practically nothing to show for it), and national direction (direction dictated by terrorists, bandits, and kidnappers). |
IGP crack team no fit rescue kidnapped kids, but they are quick to arrest someone who is imitating a voice. What a country!!!! |
This is a time of national distress. It is not the time to trade blame. It is not the time to play politics,” the governor declared. The actions or inactions of government has already given the incident a political undertone. Otherwise, why does Nigeria have what is termed "security apparatus"?. Search and rescue is not war that is traditionally expensive and takes a lot of time. |
BigYash:You have said it all. And he is from the State where it happened. |
Bullhari:Look brah! Even the products they ship to Canada are no different. Cheap quality stuff not worth the hard earned CAD paid for it. But, annoyingly, I still go back to it like an addiction. |
He should just buy a car door from the scrap yard and ship with the car. For a Toyota suv with less than 80,000 mileage, it's a good buy. |
It'll be so when it becomes almost impossible to find the kind of man that can sustain the lifestyle she's used to. A poor or average man can't fit the gap. Single rich guys won't want to try except for yahoo boys. |
Using my credit card to make a purchase of over $200 for a lady who is very smart at manipulating men. Annoyingly, she's Nigerian. |
chigator2:What exactly is your point? Are you corroborating my comment, or trying to be funny? |
Borrow2222:I'm guessing borrow, borrow is one of those not so difficult ways of making a billion naira |
truthhurts2:My simple advice is that you consult a family lawyer. The consultation should not cost you more than #50,000. A considerate lawyer will charge a professional fee of between #300,000 to #500,000 for the divorce process. This excludes filing fees, appearance fees, and other ancillary expenses. On the other hand, if you are worried about money, try and mend issues with your partner. Embarking on a divorce without money will put more strain on you than the marriage you're running away from. |
Does Desmond want to remain in the Lagos State HOA forever? If he believes himself to be a good actor, he should go back to Nollywood. Three terms is enough, wanting a fourth amounts to being insecure. |

Noodles and eggs (boiled or fried) I always have a carton of noodles and pack of eggs at home for such moment. I don't have to go to buy them. |
Why is this on social media in the first place? The lady is not a wife, she is a daughter under her father's roof subject to her father's rules. I do not support the battering please, but this is a father and daughter thing and far as I remember, every father has the right to discipline their child. As old as I am, if I mess around with my mom, she still slaps the silliness out of me. And I dare not say or do anything. After God, she is the next God I have. |
"He was at that time too dangerous to be approached by anybody..." Sharraaap! I say again sharrrraaaapp! The ASP was given the bullet he fired by a so-called junior officer. He wasn't too dangerous to be approached at the time, okwaya? |
Fear some women. I paid for a car with my hard earned money and my ex went behind my back to register it in her name. I consoled myself with the fact that it's just a car that'll depreciate over time. |
Cyberterror:I don't know about these things, but I beg to disagree concerning INEC having the constitutional power to decide who the authentic leader of a political party is. |
Skippyvibes:What you did and are gloating over will land you in jail out here. No kidding. Honest advice? Better delete the thread. You never know when you will get the chance to want to visit the western world. Finding this on your social media account might be the death of that plan. |
Koolmexxi:You certainly are high on something for jumping into a conversation you, as a typical Nigerian, failed to read the trail. Or are you trying to be overly smart to gain attention? Go to the beginning of the thread and stop embarrassing yourself. Poking your nose into what isn't your business. |
NameChecker:The Okin shortcake of that time is better than the digestive biscuit of today. The good old days......hmmmmm. |
We4all:A writer will write in the first person for the character they create in their work. And that character is who does or says things in the first person even though it is written by the writer. If you're saying the writer is the character in their own write up, then it beholds on her to do the CPR. |
We4all: But nothing I learned in school prepared me for what I’ve seen in real life.Is English language that difficult for you to know that the writer was narrating what she experienced first hand? How can you narrate what you didn't experience in the first person? She said it categorically, "what I've seen in real life". What does that mean to you? |
I don't get it. If the person in question collapsed in front of you, why didn't you perform the CPR? You are the one with the training. How many average Nigerian do you think knows about CPR, yet how to perform it? Besides, you could put yourself in trouble if you're not certified for First Aid/CPR. |
sandra2025:I guess with this, the moniker Koldrun will understand why I am not responding to them. They have made it difficult for me to render help to those who truly need it. |
A crime scene that is supposed to be secured by the police is where people are literally walking over, contaminating the scene and tampering with evidence. May God help the Nigeria Police to do the right things. |
